“Don’t look down on me!” Rikuto threw his hand outward, palm facing towards her. A thick beam of light shot forth, hot enough to reduce anyone who touched it to ash. At this rate, the farm workers behind Aoi would be incinerated along with her.

Aoi mimicked Rikuto’s action, opening her own palm towards him. An equal beam of light shot out of her hand, intercepting and neutralizing Rikuto’s attack.
