Hello everyone, it has been some time since we first announced we were working on a special event for the month of October. Without further delay we would like to let you all know what we have in store for you for the rest of this month and then some!

Welcome to Halloween Town at Duel Academy! You can access this new zone in the Teleport systems around the sim. Here you can hang out, explore and duel in the new spooky environment and a little more! With this area, we have made a special currency that we will use for events called Starchips! You can play games that we have around the zone and being active to earn these new Starchips too! You cannot purchase this currency with L$. With Starchips you'll be able to purchase our newest Booster Pack that is exclusive to this event for the time being as well as for the first time purchasable Secret Stash Booster packs! A Special Card Trader is also here! He takes Starchips for purchases and his inventory will refresh more often than the standard card trader in the Academy Card Shop.

Whats in the new booster pack? Well, we felt staying true to the spooky theme of the season and added a popular requested archetype, Fluffals and their counterpart Extra deck monsters the Frightfurs. You can also find every support card (so far at least we think) for Kuribohs as well! You can purchase this event exclusive booster pack singles for 250 DP, or 2500 DP for a multipack. You can also get the same with Starchips, which singles will be 150 Starchips and 1500 Starchips for multipacks. There's also a group of cards hiding in the Secret Stash that will only be in the Secret Stash for a limited time too but thats a secret for you all to discover!

There is more! With this event we would like to introduce 3 new faces to the Duel Academy sim that will be around more frequently even after the event. Our newest characters that represent each dorm: Akari for the Slifer Red Dorm, Kikiro for the Ra Yellow Dorm, and Aoi for the Obelisk Blue Dorm! You can find these character hiding in some of the houses throughout the Halloween Town zone as well as Lobby-chan and once per day throughout this event you can Trick or Treat at the houses they are hiding in and they will give you each a Gift basket with a chance to get gift cards for Duel Points, Starchips, or even a chance to get booster packs from any of the previously released sets!
