-Why ban Mangs content? It's helping Advance Wars!

Mangs is proven to be an abusive and unrepentant lecher. This was crystal clear even before the July 7, 2020 allegations came against him to condemn him for not only raping a woman named Goosaphone at a Canadian anime convention named Anime North, but also pulling various other behaviors such as insulting the intelligence of Africans/African Americans and abusing the custom naming feature of weapons in Fire Emblem to bash on orientations and indulge in stereotypical power fantasies that are OFFENSIVE. Advance Wars has no need for somebody like that representing the series' community, and this FAQ in fact exists to call out how enabled he is.

Look through these. It's proven that Mangs is guilty of racism and homophobia, and also has a track record of sexism in general even if we ignore the "Mangs Points" system. Additionally, Mangs has confessed to the rape he was accused of and tried to blame it on alcohol despite how even if we ignore "in vino veritas" he still chose to drink something that would make him more inclined to pull behaviors, and he pulled this half-efforted blame game BEFORE trying to sweep everything under the rug to keep his general viewership in the dark. Also, if you want to claim that there is no evidence of the rape, we'll just point out that Mangs is exploiting the incident being cross-country to make legal avenues hard to pursue as it is just so he can keep his already unearned power. That is the actions of somebody refusing to be held to account for general nastiness.

-You're just bandwagoning!

That argument won't fly. One of the Bureaucrats here opposed Mangs already, even posting on July 4, 2020, a few days before the allegations came to light, telling Mangs to own up for nastiness that Mangs already showed by then, with NO knowledge of what was going on with the "random internet spat" the Bureaucrat was calling as much then and obviously against popular opinion at the time. This call-out was active enough to cause the thread to explode, and evidence that proves how this in fact happened on the cited day does exist. In other words, Mangs was already a problem before all the blatant behaviors were publicized, to the point where it's shocking how people could ignore the red flags for so long.

-That does not matter, Mangs is singlehandedly carrying for Advance Wars.

Anybody who truly cared about Advance Wars in the first place should have realized long ago that there are Japan-only installments of the series to provide coverage for, and that a site called Game Boy Wars Network ( http://gbwn.main.jp/ ) exists to cover important details. The language barrier being used as an excuse has the counterpoint that FireFox has an extension called Rikaichan for reading Kana, and that Google Chrome has an automatic translation feature. Resources like this are what allowed for the full translation patch of [[Game Boy Wars 3]] in the first place, by somebody who still can't even hold a conversation in Japanese.

Long story short, we are not so desperate for content to resort to giving a platform to an abuser, and we WILL hold to that, more than certain other Advance Wars communities that shall remain nameless will and have done.

-Fine. What's your rules about Mangs content?

Quite simply, no references to Mangs' content are allowed unless CLEARLY necessary, which this FAQ is in the first place. If you want to say about pages like [[Tier List]] are a valid reason, those are subjective enough to be put through consideration for deletion if we deem enough abuse of the page to be involved, and it's worth additionally noting that skmming allows for seeing that Mangs rated Advance Wars 1 Sami to be low despite how Sami can actually give ''AW1 MAX'' fits and even brute force property captures against Grit of all characters. If you want to dispute Sami's position here, use your own video evidence for us to review, not anything from the guy who has been given over 100K subs worth of indifference at best toward his atrocities.

-It's a shame this community doesn't have such-and-such that anybody could see Mangs clearly doing. Perhaps-

Don't bother getting smart. We WILL see through it. And unlike those certain other Advance Wars communities that shall remain nameless, we WILL have you actually expect a PSA at minimum for jabs at our perceived "tyranny." We've heard things like "get woke, go broke" as an excuse to keep supporting people like Mangs and just because we ourselves are disgusted by California's hypocrisies in their own right does not change that issues like Mangs' behaviors are legitimately a problem regardless.

Again, if you don't have the feature and you don't like that problem, you should be adding the feature yourself, not proving your own statement that you don't care.

-This is a grudge against Mangs! Hasn't he suffered enough?

In the first place, Mangs shouldn't even have a 6 digit subscriber count on YouTube, let alone well after the allegations exposed ugly truths about him, ones that aren't exactly shocking to begin with. He was only popular in the Fire Emblem communities precisely because he was a jerk. He's able to carry his persistent base from there, which was over 75K strong as it was, onto Advance Wars and it represents a real problem for the community. There's already enough problem with a guy who victim-blamed Matthew Pyke even after "apologizing" being enabled enough, by the same certain Advance Wars communities that shall remain nameless at that, to complain about Re-Boot Camp having "diversity for its own sake" despite AW1 and AW2 NEVER having had reason to bring up the characters' skin color any more than Secret of Evermore did. We don't need Mangs adding to this.

Mangs is simply not welcome here. And if you want special permission for posting any of his content, you will have to run it through the Bureaucrats. If they fully agree, that's only when it will be allowed. In general, don't expect us to comply with enabling the abuser.
