この呪文をかけておくと、魔法のアイテムや呪文によって自分もしくは自分が身につけている物が探知された場合、そのことがわかります。

この呪文の対象となるのは種別が「探知」となっている呪文と、同種の効果がある「遠見の水晶球」などのアイテム。
また、探知に使われた呪文やアイテムの効果は、その持続時間がいかなるものであろうと “カウンター・センス“ が作動して1ラウンド後に消滅します。
つまり1ラウンドの間は、相手の使った探知の呪文やアイテムの効果は正常にはたらき、その間の情報は相手に知られてしまうわけです。
こちらが “カウンター・センス“ の呪文を使っていたということも露見します。
この呪文をあらかじめ複数回かけておき、かけ直しせずに何度も逆探知を行なうことはできません。
