18 - fact - B (“Information on temperature...proxy data,” the sentence that introduces proxy data, talks about changes in properties, and not about any of the other answer choices. C and D are mostly the same, so they’re both wrong.)
25 - vocabulary - B (D is wrong, because that’s not what “invoke” means, but it is the best wrong answer because it does fit best in the paragraph.)
