  1. I: The Boromar Clan. Centered in Little Plins in Middle Menthis.
  2. The Boromar Clan is the most powerful criminal organization, and one of the most powerful forces in the city. They control the smuggling trade and own most of the gambling halls in the city. Fences and thieves either work directly for Boromar, or pay Boromar for independence. They control a massive network of extortion, blackmail, and graft that extends from the slums to the Skyway. It owns many of the warehouses in Precarious and Cogsedge, and inns and taverns throughout the city, and the leader of it is part of the Gold Concord of the Aurum. This is to say that the Boromar have their fingers in every pie, everywhere, in the whole city.
  3. The Watch not only tolerates but facilitates the Boromar, for two reasons. The first being the extensive series of bribes, and the second being the power vacuum that would erupt in their disappearance.
  4. It is currently engaged in a gang war that enemies of the Boromar might take advantage of. The Daask use guerilla tactics, and the Boromar having their schemes and plans all over the place has led to them being unable to protect all of their holdings, and while it won't fall overnight, its reputation is highly damaged, and it's struggling to face the destruction of its reputation by the Daask.
  5.
  6. Saidan Boromar(NE Male Halfling). The patriarch of the family, often found at the Tain Gala, who learned all of his methods through experience in stealing and criminal enterprises, as well as a keen intellect.
  7.
  8. Mala Boromar d'Jorasco(N Female Halfling). An unmarked member of House Jorasco, and married with the Boromar Patriarch as a business arrangement, that's allowed for the Halflings of Boromar to be healed quickly and immediately, without pay, as part of their deal with Saidan.
  9.
  10. Ilyra Boromar(See Part 1: The Council).
  11.
  12. Castar(NE Male Gnome). He's the intelligence expert of the Boromar, and a master Diviner, as well as Saidan's chief advisor. He has yet to come up with a solution, though the arrival of "Masks" as they're colloquially called has left Castar with an idea to turn them against the Daask, by tricking the Daask into attacking innocent groups.
  13.
  14. Halak Boromar(NE Male Halfling). A recent immigrant from the Talenta plains, Halak commands the Boromar's personal guard, who are all clawfoot warriors, and has a taste for blood that he loves directing towards the Daask or anyone who doesn't pay the Boromar Clan's operatives on time.
  15.
  16. II: Daask. Centered in Khyber's Gate(Lower Cogs) or Malleon's Gate(Lower Dura).
  17. Daask has been slowly building up its power over the course of ten years, though as of the last two, they've been bursting onto the scene to attack lower ward holdings. Unlike the Boromar, who tend to prefer longer-lasting subtlety, the Daask use significant promises of violence and aren't afraid to make due. They are a fluid, mobile organization that has been moving in on the Boromar territory, and diversified their interests, doing such things as selling dreamlily, heartflow, and dragon's blood, as well as selling the services of its agents.
  18.
  19. Cavallah(NE Female Ogre Mage). An exceptionally charismatic Ogre Mage, Cavallah has massive influence in Malleon's Gate and the cogs, and is a scholar as well as a gang leader. She is highly cunning and disciplined, using the magic of flight and her knowledge of tactics in order to assault her enemies.
  20.
  21. Harash(N Male Medusa). A specialist in diplomacy and intimidation, he monitors the members and maintains morale.
  22.
  23. Cazha Bloodwing /Torarg Blackhorn / Keshta (NE Female Harpy / Male Minotaur / Male Gnoll). The major lieutenants of the group, these members are used to dispose of targets through quick, precise strikes to certain locations.
  24.
  25. III: House Tarkanan,
  26. A group of abberant dragonmarked assassins, thieves, and murderers, House Tarkanan is meant to be a sign of unity... Or so it claims. in reality, it's a group of murderers, thieves, and assassins. They deal in three kinds of work. Theft, assassination, and manslaughter. The house refuses to target individuals who are in the high ranks of other criminal organizations, but makes up for it with the ability to not only kill, but also assassinate the soul, ensuring resurrection to be impossible. The group was originally a Brelish spies, but the Dark Lanterns tried to assassinate them... Unsuccessfully. With a grudge against the entire nation, they work and toil in the darkness, seeking to explore the underbelly of Sharn for knowledge, as well as expand their ranks.
  27.
  28. Thora Tavin(LE Female Human). A deadly killer with devotion to her cause, and a desire to protect the aberrant marked by any means. She sees all who bare such marks as part of an extended family of hers, to the point of insanity, and will not allow her family to be eliminated, by any means.
