>Today was the day you were going to confess your feelings to your crush

>You promised to meet each other in the park.

>Though you swore it was just to hang out, you had other plans in mind.

>Grabbing your box of chocolates and the flowers you got from Asgore's shoppe, you quickly head out.

>You make sure to get a cup of hot chocolate from the diner for them before you get to the entrance of the park.

>You see him sitting next a large oak tree in the middle of the park

>One of the only other humans in town.

>Kris.

>A small statured human with a frail and slim figure and olive skin.

>Wearing the usual brightly colored and baggy yellow and green sweater

>Bangs covering his eyes. Only leaving behind a dark shadow.

>Slim fitting brown pants and similarly colored shoes.

>In most aspects, most would say he looks quite plain

>Yet, you've still grown really fond of the human through what interactions you've had with each other.

>You were urged before to confess your feelings by the deer girl who was friends with Kris.

>He's twiddling his thumbs a bit, munching on a small ham sandwich

>He seems to be pretty content, peaceful even.

>Your hesitate to keep moving towards him.

>Your breath starts to get just a bit heavy

>You feel the courage you've built up before hand slowly melt away

>But, taking a deep breath, you truck along and move slowly towards him

>He seems to notice you as you've gotten much closer than before as he raises his head just a bit

>"....Hey"

>He says in his usual quiet and breathy voice with a slight smirk on his face

>While not noticable to many, the way he says it sounds a bit like he's happy to see you.

>After this, you seem to have gained back your composure and cool.

>You quickly sit down across from the skinny boy.

>"What's up?"

>He asks, genuinely curious. He seems to notice some of the beverage.

>You give him the still steamy cup of hot chocolate, assuring it's for him.

>"...Thanks."

>He takes a sip from the chocolate. Letting out a silent but noticable sniffle after he gulps it down.

>The box and letter still behind you. Somehow, he doesn't seem to have noticed them..

>"...Kris"

>You say nervously. He raises up his head, tilting it a bit curiously.

>At this moment it seems as if time stopped moving.

>Your breath again beginning to deepen and your body shaking.

>You grab the box the letter, and flowers from behind you and slowly pass it to him.

>"...Will you, be my valentine?"

>You say in a cautious and shaky voice. Your face a deep red.

>He doesn't say anything for a moment. Looking a bit shocked, you can see a visible eye from his bangs.

>Only looking at the box of chocolates for several seconds.

>Then, as your worries start to accumulate, he grabs the items from your hands..

>He looks down at the letter, opening the envelope and reading it.

>He closes it.

>You gulp a bit of salvia as he does.

>Then, after a few more moments of silence, a visible smile begins to grow on the humans face.

>"...Yes.."

>He looks straight at you, his bangs seemingly shifted to reveal his crimson eyes

>A look of joy is apparent on the shy boy's face

>A single tear falls down

>"Yes, I will…!"

>You both say not much more, as you embrace each other in the other's arms

>Feeling each other's heartbeat heavily

>In this moment, you're both the happiest you could ever be.

>Because you finally have someone to call your own.
