- [18:34] Pericles's let the duo mess around over by his cooking pot. Hopefully he wouldn't need to have a new one made.
- "Careful with the knife."
- Violence seemed to be the first instinct of the few Rhoynish he had got the chance to meet, eyes pausing on the drawn out knife, before back towards Kofe.
- The second, third? He couldn't quite remember, but it seems he would be teaching more Rhoynish.
- "Coffee. Yourself and Teapot won't be allowed to leave the vicinity of the church without an escort of myself, Sister Nina or Brother Inante."
- "And so you'll have plenty of time to be chosen by a star. Hm, the other person you were with. Basil was someone I briefly got the chance to teach too."
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:36] Kofe says, "..."
- [18:36] Kofe says, "My name is Kofe."
- [18:36] Kofe says, "Not Coffee. That's not the same."
- [18:38] He shook his head, looking towards Pericles after those instructions. "I don't know who any of them are. Don't you have great tales detailings their victories and battles? That's how you're supposed to introduce people." He retorted, adding more onto it as it went on.
- "There's like... a thousand stars in the sky. Why should I care about them?"
- (Kofe)

- [18:40] It wasn't like Romani was a stranger in the kitchen. Several of the boar pieces were soon sliced into lengthwise by the knife. The strips were separated on a cooking board as he took out salt, pepper, and oregano, giving a liberal amount for the boar as he looked over to Tea.
- "I've been trained in the Montclaire kitchens. You must have faith in your skills, but I have some in mine too."
- Finally, he would draw out another container; His secret seasoning. Only, he managed to grab the WRONG container, seasoning the meat with the wrong spices and wincing as he realized that. "oh no.."
- He mumbled, before moving it down into the cooking pot. If he kept cooking, there was chance no one would notice his blunder, right? He could only hope so. Finally, once the preserved baked meat had finished, he drew it out of the container and would set it onto a plate.
- "You try half of yours. Then I try half of yours. Then you try half of mine. Then I try half of mine. Then we have a third party try it."
- (Romani Cos Montclaire)

- [18:42] There was one thing that perhaps Romani didn't know about her. When Tea said she was the best chef, it wasn't an empty boast. If there was one thing she enjoyed more than fighting, it was cooking. Perhaps in another life she would have just been a chef and not a raiding bandit child.
- Regardless - even with Romani's fancy cooking gear it didn't matter. All she needed was skill. Given she only had pork on her she set to work immediately, carefully slicing it up and choosing only the most tender and juiciest pieces. Taking brown sugar and pepper, she mixed them together - making sure to overzest with pepper, after all it had to be spicy but sweet!
- Seemingly satisfied, the girl was nothing but focus, placing the strips of pork onto the skillet along with oil. Frying them the aroma of the cooking meat wafted through the room, no doubt interrupting conversation regarding stars. Once it was thoroughly cooked through she removed them from the heat and placed them onto a plate holding it out.
- "Ta-dah you motherfuckin' bitch." She called out. She eyed the meat Romani had cooked with a raised eyebrow before reaching out for a piece to gingerly taste it. Her nose wrinkled at it.

- [18:45] Yani cos Queen says, "Your wrists, please..."
- [18:47] Romani, as soon as the meals were properly set up, pointed a finger at Tea.
- "Language. I have to train you to not be crude. And discipline you when you do. I'd normally jam my thumb in your mouth, but.." he shook his head. "Not while we're cooking. I don't want either of us to ruin the food."
- With that, he offered his pieces out to Tea to take, taking a bite of her own. Tea did end up using more skill in this first time, cutting only the most tender and juicy bits, and the brown sugar was a touch that he never considered. An almost scrumpious sound escaped him, just enjoying the food for a few moments.
- "Well, Teapot, you are a good cook. I will not lie and pretend you aren't. I also messed up my cooking a little, added a spice that does not meld well with the Pork. So this time, I will be honest. You win."
- "But don't be certain next time. I'll keep getting better until I win." The noble assured her, before reaching over, and taking another bite of her jerky. All too quick it seemed things were moving however, and he looked over to Yani.
- "Right. The bindings."

- [18:48] Pericles's head shook to the side as Kofe replied, the cosmic-codex within his hand slowly opened up to a specific page, easily found by the priest as he briefly scanned across the written text.
- "Forget the others."
- "You'll be focusing on the closet and brightest stars that make up the Constellation of Leonaus."
- Steps led the Keeper closer towards Kofe, the open book revealed towards the rhoynish teenager as his finger began to tap against the page, his index-finger dragging across words as he spoke.
- "The Yellow branch. The Blue Branch, and then The Red Branch."
- "Three main parts of the Lion that are taken note of, all holding eighteen stars all together. Each with a different benefit that cosmic magi are potentially able to gleam."
- The Keeper's words paused as he moved his gaze up from the text, and towards the teenager he was speaking to. He had to make sure the young man was still paying attention after all.
- Pericles holds up a finger, "Yellow represent leadership and courage, but those things are not intrinsically good. Even one with a dark heart can be a great leader of men."
- Another rises, "Blue entails wisdom and introspection. In essence it represent knowledge and experience, but these things too do not always make us better. Sometimes they poison."
- Then a third, "Red is the color of passion and raw spirit. It can be the most dangerous for it is likely tied more closely to the realm of emotions. Anger can be a righteous fury or a poison. It's all dependant on the wielder."
- Finished with the detailed explanation, he stared across towards Kofe, a searching gaze sent towards the teenager as he spoke again.
- "I wonder which Star would call out to you, Kofe."

- [18:50] Yani walked in smelling like nothing more than charcoal and sweat. Eyes heavy and his body aching from over exhausting himself as he moved himself into the church. His right hand contributing to the fact that it was shaking. His left holding the remotes and gauntlets on their own.
- He made them lethal, super lethal at the click of a button. If they dared try to run away too far it would inject a venom that would kill them within seconds. A quick, painless death.
- So, he moved towards Tea, wrapping the gauntlets around their left wrist. Upon the gauntlets detecting that it was around skin, it would tighten just enough with sharp pieces of needles to pinch at the skin.
- The same would go to Kofe as well, but on the right.
- "Let's all be reasonable with these...
- Who wants what?"
- (Yani cos Queen)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:52] Romani Cos Montclaire says, "I'll take remotes. The Queen said I'm supposed to be watching them."
- [18:52] She made a face when he mentioned training and discipline, and all too suddenly did Tea grow abnormally quiet, yellow eyes narrowing on him. She threw the jerky right back in his face - where it'd no doubt land with a little 'plop' before falling to the floor.
- "Fuck your trainin', and fuck your discipline. I ain't --" She paused, when Yani put something around her wrist, and she immediately tried to yank it off only for the things to dig into her skin. "What the FUCK!" She exclaimed, bringing it up to her mouth to bite into.
- (Tea)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:56] Romani would offer some of his jerky pieces out to Yani as he came by, but as he focused on that, the jerky would hit him smack dab in the face with a plop. Slowly it rolled down his cheek as he turned to glare at her. His hand moved downwards, getting the Codex out.
- The book would be lightly rapt against Tea's forehead.
- "Think about it like this. You're captured. If you don't show you're getting better, the Queen might say you have to die. And that would be bad."
- "You're a talented chef. Even if you're stuck up and covered in sand, you're alright. So I want you to live. So less cursing, ok?"
- (Romani Cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:56] Kofe, unlike his sister, was all too willing to listen when people spoke, or at least, when they spoke with a goal in mind, with a story to tell, with something to teach. As unhappy as he might've been with their capture, the boy seemed a bit better when it came to those instructions about stars within a precise constellation. This could be more than that, though, couldn't it?
- He looked up to Pericles.
- "Do they have stories of their own? Legends, tales, myths! That's what determines a man's worth: How many tell of him after his death." He declared with... enthusiasm. This was more his element and he could forget about the lockd—
- Oh. On his right wrist was put a bracelet, one that seemed to adjust itself to his body, as if completely magical! Convenient. But he had no idea what that thing was.
- "... This isn't my arm ring." He commented, gesturing to his left wrist where the traditional Rhoynish arm ring rested.
- (Kofe)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:58] The codex tapped against her forehead and she frowned, continuing to gnaw on the bracelet itself idly, as if she could rip it off with her teeth if nothing else!
- "You're talkin' like I'm sick. I ain't sick - I'm me. If you don't like it, shove the fuck off." She growled out. The threat of dying didn't interest her, it seemed. It was much better than becoming a boot licker like Dorothea at the very least.
- (Tea)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:01] Pericles chuckled, the book coming to a close as he rose his eyebrow towards the rhoynish boy. It seemed he was interested in tales, and how could the stars not have such myths about them.
- "I presume you've heard about Robin cos Queen. One of the most decorated faithful within Osrona, he was blessed by one of the stars within the Yellow branch."
- "☉ - Leo - The Brightest Star - House of Leadership - Likely to promote leadership."
- Again the book was flipped through, a page paused upon for Kofe to gaze his eyes on. The symbol of Leo so easily visible at the top of the page, smile further appearing on his lips.
- "The man, with his star given power was capable of slaying the strongest demons that pervaded throughout Esshar fifty years ago. And there are plenty of other magi who have been gifted with such a gift."
- "There's plenty of tales, legends and myths for you to read within the church. The Star's are immortal after all, there'll be plenty for you to learn Kofe."
- The Keeper's cosmic-codex finally closed, once again placed against his chest as his usual amiable smile was sent towards the rhoynish teenager, question sounding out.
- "If you're willing that is."
- (Pericles Vitalis)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:01] "It's not that you are sick. You're not sick." The Codex would be gently set down as the golden and blue eyes would move to look at Tea as she continued to gnaw at the bracelet.
- "But I've seen how people get. They call the Rhoynish monsters. They talk about driving them all out, or killing them. It's not something to shove off, if something doesn't change, many Rhoynish are going to be shoved off. Shoved off of life. Killed." He frowned as she growled.
- "It's not just your sand covered self who would be killed. It would be other people you care for. Or other people would lose you. Do you want to put them through that?" He asked. "To die.. and maybe have all the stories of your people go out too?"
- (Romani Cos Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:05] Kofe's eyes laid upon the pages that were flipped open for him. The symbol before his eyes and the meaning behind it came with more than just a short excerpt; a story of those who wielded its power, of those who were chosen by it to represent it in all of its glory. Of course, this was nothing more than a description for that legendary man, nothing close to a real story.
- ... But he'd bite, for now. It was better than being locked up, watching his sister kick some cooking ass.
- "Who wouldn't be willing to hear great stories?" He asked in return, brow risen as if the concept of such was all too alien.
- (Kofe)
