- Winner: PoB
- This was a good showing from both debaters. PoB opened up with a very convincing argument about how the Metal Men's only interactions with anything hot is them writhing in pain from being held down in lava and being presumably killed, and also getting ripped apart by Superman's heat vision, and thus dies to Natsu's fire power. He also takes the initiative to categorize all of Metal Men's strength feats, showing they're not that good compared to Natsu's and that teleportation is not always used in an efficient manner, along with the fact that the heat ray will only serve to amp Natsu.
- Ame opens with an argument that piercing would one-shot Natsu, which unfortunately was immediately wholly unconvincing considering that PoB posted not only piercing resistance feats for Natsu in his first response, but also a scan of Natsu literally being impaled multiple times and not caring. There are decent attempts at making Natsu's physicals seem unimpressive with an emphasis on the Metal Men's durability from the crater punch, which is good, and an argument is made that Natsu's heat isn't that good because of mass and that teleportation + piercing gives Metal Men the win.
- PoB excellently responds to all the points above, dismantling a pretty good amount of ame's claims
- - Piercing: Argues not only is the piercing feat bad, MM doesn't even use it in-character and also Natsu has piercing resistance feats well beyond what MM has (all of which I found to be completely convincing)
- - MM's Heat Resistance: Argues again MM's feats suck because his interaction with lava are him being held down and dying, and then also being cut by something that's not even provably hot
- - Teleportation: Shows Natsu can enhance his speed with fire, allowing him to hit previously untaggable opponents
- - god I hate interpreting manga feats
- - Metal Men are weak and Natsu is strong, and on fire
- The following rebuttal from Ame is a little weak. The attempts at downplaying Natsu's feats really aren't convincing, for example the idea that catching a punch that destroys even only 2 small buildings being worse than the car is worse than the parking lot throw seems extremely questionable at the very least. MM are then made to scale to Supes and Wonder Woman, who are shown to have good durability feats and thus MM is strong.
- etc etc.
- PoB wins because the Metal Men don't really have a good win condition. With piercing immediately being invalidating in the 1st responses, and the heat ray that will only amp Natsu, then the MM have no viable option but to attempt and punch Natsu out.
- I'm convinced Natsu is decently stronger than the Metal Men. Comparatively his feats of "punching/killing giant beings and fling around their bodies, destroying houses along the way" are more impressive than MM"s. The scaling to Imperiex helped out a bit, but is still somewhat vague as PoB pointed out that the scaling feats had left Superman in a far worse condition than anything the MM had done to him. The same goes for durability, and PoB has Natsu using fire and heat in a variety of ways, from his body temperature being enough to melt metal or in massive blasts of flame or in just increasing the heat around him enough to start melting a stone stadium. Even if it doesn't instantly incap MM it's gonna be dealing decent damage. Teleportation is an advantage for MM but not an insurmountable one, with Natsu's speed boosts and mobility being convincible counters.
- In-character behavior, PoB did right to point out there's only one fight to see how the MM act, and that includes using heat attacks (which would only serve to amp Natsu) and using throws and locks, which is going to backfire as Natsu is stronger. I actually think when they try that grapple maneuver on Natsu that's probably when they lose, as they may get pinned down and melted or blasted.
