While stated to have similar capabilities to Waver, her training in Chaldea and having the Top of the Line Mystic Codes along with plenty of 'Casters' she ultimately is above him in capabilities, to say the least, she is a 'Below-Average' Magus that's limit is indeed a weak bloodline, though Gudako is a person who learned from going about getting their own knowledge as noted her past is a mystery and she doesn't know much of her family, but what she does know is her affinity for the magecraft Formalcraft.

Formalcraft is a form of thaumaturgy that allows magi to compensate for their weakness and their lack of power through various rituals. It is commonly used by inferior magi families with the lack of potent and numerous circuits. Needless to say, this form of magecraft relies mostly on Mana and little on Od. Knowledge and skills in dealing with rituals is a strong requirement, because of this Gudako can be constantly found in her own room in a Ritual Circle meditating, likely praying albeit she has no mind when in Singularities to sacrifice wild-life such as Squrriels or a Chicken for an easier way to go about it, she applies to 'Another' Formalcraft it is a positive magecraft and can be described as "thaumaturgy for dummies." as it is essentially conversion of the Elements, Gudako is heavily skilled with 'Fire' as it is her Elemental Affinity, Gudako has a very high affinity for Formalcraft and it costs far less to use thus it tends to be her primary Magecraft.

She is an amateur in Rune Magecraft and its usage drains her but considers herself very knowledgeable in it, to this end Gudako is not the typical magus either but a 'Spellcaster' The name given to those who use Magecraft without following the way of the magus, while she could originally be classified as a 'magus' her time in Chaldea as changed her viewings of the world and her viewpoint as a mage.

Gudako is also a creator of Mystic Codes using her knowledge she has successfully made numerous types and or improved the ones on hand at Chaldea itself, to put it bluntly, she enjoys the creation of them there are various 'Mystic Codes' There are Amplifiers which basically store Magical Energy in Gudako's case she uses this in the form of batteries that she keeps on her and use for magecraft application with her Runes to make it less taxing.

Then there are Specialized Mystic Codes they have a predetermined usage. They are activated with the magus's magical energy and can perform a given mystery as long as it is supplied with energy. It becomes a spell in itself;  Their usage is unique, so they aren't really generic, but this also means they can be tremendously efficient in what they do, this applies to the numerous uniforms or outfits that Gudako wears.

Then there are Conceptual Weapons in Gudako's case the Sword given to her after she was knighted personally by Artoria is one of these, while she rarely uses it she combines it with her Formalcraft to unleash a blast of flames that drains her of her magical energy it cuts away at the 'Root of Chaos' within someone such a thing means something along the lines of a Saint or a Pure-hearted person cannot be affected what so ever, once used though it needs to be stored with plenty of magical energy to it's max amount before it can be used again making it a one trick pony against an opponent, should it be overcharged and used the sword's blade would melt away or shatter.

By the time of the Mordred, Alter Singularity EMIYA notes that Gudako is at her limit as a magus, but says that a magus must always break their limits and walk the line of death which Gudako agrees with.

Mystic Code: Chaldea MKII
The Basic and Default Mystic Code of Gudako it offers very little defense but has a natural resistance to the environment and it has numerous abilities such as increased mobility, easy access to Reinforcement magecraft and a healing spell all triggerable, by the Magus wearing it. Gudako has modified it into what she refers to as an 'MK II' variant which helps with her Formalcraft usage.

Mystic Code: Chaldea Combat Uniform MKII
While it may not appear like much, the Combat Uniform is as sturdy as armor and is used in high combat situations where she may be at risk, it can take environmental damage, gives her massive increase in mobility and improves her overall magecraft abilities as a whole, it acts like a massive amplifier. Gudako has modified it into what she refers to as an 'MK II' variant which helps with her Formalcraft usage.

Mystic Code: Arctic Region Chaldea Uniform
It is essentially a Winter variation of the Mystic Code: Chaldea however with the added benefit of despite how lightweight it may appear, it offers the warmth of a campfire to the one wearing it and keeps them comfortable within winter regions it still can be used within other regions with no issues either as it adapts to the climate.
