  6. Vale stared around at the jumbled mess of his small albeit functional facility. A medical scan, and a junky Regenerator. Things he would take with him, if he could find a way to leave. But regardless. He could only assume this planet was mostly abandoned - Mostly he has met one person. But he wants to leave, non the less.. Something he didnt' like to think about.
  7.
  8. He didn't know where he came from, or his past. So finding a new start couldn't hurt, right? He had to do something. He walked to his door, slowly and opened it, peaking out. It was silent. He had scavenged the areas previously, looking for tools. He needed a welder.
  9.
  10. There was a makeshift bick lighter, but it wouldn't work for what he wanted. He scurried quickly down the matal path. To the right, along a bridge was a small little shack like building. The door was ajar. He walked to it, and pried the door slowly to it's full open measurements. It was dark inside, but he could see from the dim light of the place outside.
  11.
  12. A blow torch, an actual one. A Tool box. And a lot of supplies. It was a gold mine! Even a set of clothes. He was for some reason in his underwear. He gathered up what he could, and left the building. The flooring of the pathway was cold, even now. It was colder before, when he didn't have a place to stay...
  13.
  14. His arms were full of random things. A pair of clothing, a bit old but they would suffice. A tool box, with the Welder inside. A few sheets of metal. He left the rest, and would return for it later on. What remained was some wiring, some more steel plates, a few crystals - Which seemed to be common place where he was, for whatever reason - And some glass sheets, not shattered.
  15.
  16. If he wanted to leave the whole planet, he would have to make a compressor, for the confines of a shuttle of sorts. That was the most important thing, second being a propulsion system, to launch him out of orbit. not easy things to do, not in the slightest. He didn't have the materials at all to make something large either. Probably a one seater?
  17.
  18. After an hour, he had procurred the rest of the supplies, from within the shed, and changed into the new set of clothing. He was tired, so he walked drearily over to the Regenerator, opening the doors, and hopping in, closing it shut on himself. It made him feel better... And he began to think about how he would go about it.
  19.
  20. The crystals he found seemed to act as an energy source. They all shared a similar green hue. So he could assume they had something to do with the radiation barrels he had been seeing. Not good to dwell on why they're here, but that's irrelevant. He could use the crystals to provide energy for propulsion. But he would need a fuel source, of some sorts.
  21.
  22. Though he didn't like the idea, as he didn't have any protective gear. He could use one of the radiation barrels, and temporarily jump start the propulsion. He likely wouldn't get far. Maybe. IT might not be radioactive materials inside, but another form of energy. It was a risk he had to take. He didn't have much food here. Just some stale bread... The regenerator kept him alive, really.
  23.
  24. "So... If I use the radiation barrel.." He slowly opens the regenerator doors, stepping out, scratching his chin. "I can use the substances inside to fuel the propulsion, into orbit.." He nodded, as he began to walk out. The barrels weren't too far off, but he needed to examine them more. He came up to them. Multiple barrels, oozing a green substance. DEFINITELY radioactive.
  25.
  26. "Old Radioactive material, likely used for fuel in a Nuclear reactor of sorts. That puts a few things into perspective, as to what this place I'm in is. And gives me more reasoning for wanting to get the hell out. Stagnant air, a lifeless presence. This place is literally hell, I hope I'm not actually dead," He sighed. He would have to leave the barrels, and add the fuel last. IT was his only option.
  27.
  28. He turned back, and made his way back home, entering it at his leisure. He picked up the blow torch, and shaked it around. It was 3/4th full. He had already thought of the Blowtorch fuel, but he needed it to weld. And even if the canister was full, it likely wouldn't be enough to support a SPACE POD....
  29.
  30. He sighed, and began to drag a few metal sheets towards the center of his room, and popped open the nearby toolbox, pulling out a rather old Hammer. It wouldn't last long. He began to hammer at the steel sheets, molding them into a more round shape After making a few sheets into this manner, he pulls a glass sheet out, using the blow torch to cut a perfect circle.
  31.
  32. He reached for some Aluminum, he had dragged over, and carefully layered it over the glass sheet, as to give it some insulation. It would help to keep the vacuum of space from ruining his excursion.
  33.
  34. He put these components aside, and grabbed out some wiring. He wasn't that great with wiring, but he had some know how on the whole thing. He yawned, and took a few crystals as well. Some metal strips. He would begin to construct his propulsion system.
  35.
  36. He took out a small screw driver from the toolbox, and grab a large sheet of ALuminum, stabbing a few holes into it, all in the center, until it made one large circular hole. Grabbing a little bit more Aluminum, enough to cover the hole, he placed said aluminum to the side. This will allow him to put fuel into his soon to be escape shuttle
  37.
  38. After pulling a smaller sheet of metal free, he begins to weld it into a sort've box pattern. He wasn't sure of the exact diameters for it, but a box will do. He places all of the crystals he had into the box, and welded it shut, all but a small hole. He grabbed the Aluminum, and placed it over the box.
  39.
  40. "There.. I'll have to pour the Radiation into here.. It will kick start a propulsion, which will be triggered by a few modules, in the interior of the space pod.
  41.
  42.
  43. He began to weld the glass, and circular steel plates together, making sure they are sealed shut, as to keep the air in. Air. That was important. He looked to his Regenerator. It supplied oxygen, so it would have to suffice. He walked over to it, and grabbed it up, dismantling it. He walked back over to his pod. The glass could slide open, to allow entry. He would have to add a seat...
  44.
  45. He didn't have anything comfortable, so he would use a Steel Aluminum combination. He could mold it into a seat. But for now, he would have to rest. The day was quiet.
  46.
  47. He stood up, and walked back to a wall, to sleep. Closing his eyes as he laid against it.
  48.
  49. He awoke to a knock. Slowly getting off of the ground, he walked to his door, and opened it quickly. A man was standing there. One with a tail. After greeting each other, he introduced himself as Ceylon, Emperor of the Saiyans... Though he wasn't quite sure what a Saiyan WAS. But still.
  50.
  51. After more conversating, Ceylon offered Vale to work under him as a Scientist. Vale agreed, of course, and opted to show the man his work. He showed him all he had worked on. He man nodded, and grabbed his supplies, helping him carry it to a new facility, where he would continue working on it.
  52.
  53. After reaching the facility, he would drag what work he had done into the center of the room, leaving it there. He sat down, and with more advanced tools, he would begin to re-weld the materials together, with ease. He actually had access to more comfortable materials! So he would incorporate some fabric into his design, to make a comfortable seat.
  54.
  55. After he was done, he would place the box in, and fill it with actual FUEL instead of the Radiation. Less dangerous, and this was more than enough fuel. The crystals began to glow, as he sealed the box, and secured the seat ontop. "Okay.. This should be good.." He sits up, and uses an actual oxygen support system, placing it just above the seats head. "So much easier.." He sighed, thinking of the primitive tools he used previously.
  56.
  57. "Though it's not much, this is SO much easier." He chuckled softly, and added a more complex system for the glass door, allowing it to slide in on itself, opening and closing. "Oxygen, propulsion, and a comfortable seat. No gaps, or holes to allow for the vacuum to strip the Oxygen," He nodded. Now all that was missing, was the mechanisms inside, to control the ship.
  58.
  59. He looked around. More complex wiring, and mechanisms littered the place. He grabbed it, and some dials, and constructed a control panel, adjusting it, and placing it inside of the ship, connecting it to a wiring system that led underneath the seat. "It's done, I think? I'll have to test it.."
  60.
  61. He looked at his creation with joy, grinning broadly. "I hope this thing works!"
