Guns are able to be fired in sequence, to allow for a sustained rate of fire of 30 rounds per minute. Ammunition stowage 408 rounds in automated shell handling system in turret barbette. Mount is forward of main VLS batteries.

Automation allows for ~50-60 rounds per minute rate of fire per gun. 500 rounds of ammunition per gun, in below-deck ammunition handling systems. Mounts arranged on broadside of ship, with two of the 6 mounts being elevated for more optimal firing arcs.
  16. -12x AK-23 30 mm/63 automatic revolver cannons, in 6 twin turrets, with 4 mounts along the side of the ship, as well as two directly fore and aft of the superstructure, elevated for clear firing arcs. 6,000 rounds per gun, fed via disintegrating belt from below-deck stowage.
  17. -10x SET-5 acoustic homing ASW/ASuW torpedoes, with an additional 30 torpedoes in below-deck armored storage. Automated handling systems allow for at-sea reloading from internal stores, which in turn can be replenished via resupply vessels.
