Daniel Beat by Barnes

	Daniel faked with his right hand, hoping to distract Mike enough to score with his left. Mike deflected both punches and grabbed Daniel by his shirt. He lifted him off the floor and tossed him easily through a Japanese shoji screen that separated the shop from the workroom. Before Daniel could stand up on his own, Mike grabbed his shirt again and pulled him up toward him.

	"Why are you being so stubborn?" he demanded.

	Daniel used the momentum of Mike's tug to begin his renewed attack. He punched Mike hard in the stomach. Mike barely flinched. He simply picked Daniel up again and threw him through another shoji screen, shattering the delicate wood and ripping the paper. This time, Mike didn't give Daniel an opportunity to counterattack. He pulled him up and in a single motion, threw him at one of the finished display cases. Daniel collapsed into the glass, shattering it as he went.

	"I'm running out of patience, LaRusso. Now sign and let's get on with it." He thrust an application and a pen at Daniel. Daniel accepted the offering and then ripped the application in half.

	Mike was about to begin his unusual persuasion technique again, when the shop's door opened. Mr. Miyagi entered. Mike picked up a big fruit crate and threw it directly at Mr. Miyagi, but the old man was too quick for that maneuver. He ducked, allowing the crate to crash through the shop's window. Mr. Miyagi didn't flinch.
