Idle Wizard Iron Soul advice

[10:43 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): I seem to understand the basic flow of how to use the spells, build up charges in stance 1, build up incantation casts in stance 2, then burst in stance 3. What's mostly lacking in my understanding is,

#1 What pet(s) for bursting? Still just VT as with many others?
#2 What kind of items does it scale off well?
#3 What attributes does it scale off well?

[10:44 PM] eXcebo: are fimiliar with that?

[10:44 PM] eXcebo: it's better than straight VT until you have sufficient vmana gear it seems
[10:44 PM] eXcebo: I don't really remember where that cut off point is
[10:44 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): Never really got a hang of hungerer, no, but I assume you need to put quite a few pts in WIS to make that work?
[10:44 PM] eXcebo: and with IS where you really only get 1 or a couple cast at full profits, it's best to maximize
[10:44 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): I have mostly blue, and 2 purple for VMana gear

[10:45 PM] eXcebo: that's probably a key part of VT->hung

[10:45 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): Does hungerer also consume non-shard? it doesn't right?

[10:45 PM] eXcebo: no
[10:45 PM] eXcebo: just shards and sources
[10:45 PM] eXcebo: so you gotta be quick
[10:45 PM] eXcebo: without even casting a FS
[10:46 PM] eXcebo: just check it's profitswith your burst gear+incantations running
[10:46 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): So, set up some spell sets bforehand to quickly switch to them and allow him to eat?

[10:46 PM] eXcebo: then swap to devo->hungerer
[10:46 PM] eXcebo: and check it there
[10:46 PM] eXcebo: ya you can do that
[10:46 PM] eXcebo: have a few charges of FoW to keep them fed

[10:46 PM] eXcebo: you can run FoW charges in defense stance
[10:47 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): Seems a bit out of flavor for me, cool
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: to spam all 4 shards icnantations
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: to build up casts
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: my IS runs usually consist of around 6 phases
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: firstly I run all the non-shards
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: casting FS on reckless
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: just to keep TtS going full speed, and eventually to build FoW charges
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: then I try to really cast alot of incantations
[10:47 PM] eXcebo: you can use worg/RG too
[10:48 PM] eXcebo: but FoW gives more consistent casts
[10:48 PM] eXcebo: casting incantations is a big part of how you power up IS
[10:49 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): Yeah, I figured from his tooltip
[10:49 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): So, Conjurer's is the set i've been focusing most on
[10:49 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): I assume that will also work for IS burst?
[10:56 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): (Also, with 700 attri, what would you recommend as a split?)
[10:59 PM] MoMo (MMOtte): I am tempted myself to think, Max INT, SPC, INS and PAT, 100 in MAS, but not sure.
