 I've been closely observing recent events and would like to point out a certain staff member who appears to me to be doing an unsatisfactory job:

        Over the past couple of days she has made several decisions which has enraged the community (e.g the ending to the Tier shift tournament) and despite the opinion of the majority of the members and made a poor decision (as it was regarded by most of the crowd.)

        During the 'shitstorm' that was the NU/UU tournament thread that was today she hid any logical response or any posts criticize anything, and her responses seemed quite unprofessional and as usual, she seemed to disregard anything the community was saying. Not only did her hiding posts happen in the NU/UU tournament thread, but it occurs in everyday threads. She hides any post that is logically correct and criticizes any decision made by staff.

        Every time she hosts a tournament, every time, something goes wrong(For example the Friday night fifties signups being locked until 7:02 where it should have been unlocked at 7, causing many problems with people,) be it her poor decision making abilities, be it her not knowing enough about the meta-game to be able to be able to make good decisions or whatever it is. It has put me off participating in any official tournament due to poor management, unofficial tournaments should be better hosted than official tournaments.

       Overall her decisions seem to be made from her own emotions instead of from a professional stand point (Such as when i hear a decision Hisagi makes it seems to be logically sound and reasonable). But when Emlee makes a decision it leaves me wondering what she was thinking when she thought of it.

       I don't know how the staffing works, but i hope my opinion of the staff member is taken into some kind of consideration and not just tossed aside, as i know many members of the community who i have spoken to seem to share a negative view of Emlee. It also feels like we are being 'ruled' by fear, as all posts will be deleted be it even slightly out of line. Whilst i agree there should be rules and proper punishments, this level of suppression feels Stalinesque.

[10:39:14 PM] Skele: I saw your first post and I will disagree with your opinion that Emlee is doing an unsatisfactory job. Now the modifications made allow members to discuss the official events, either in competition alley or general discussion. In the future members opinions might be taken into account if a host wishes to implement them but it is not going to be required. Have a nice night.
