  1. Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce the very first Beginner Boss Hunter tournament!

  3. What is Boss Hunter? Boss Hunter is a bingo category, where the bingo card is filled with bosses. It is played on Boss/Enemy rando, and the goal is to get a 3-line bingo. This tournament is specifically for beginners looking to get into the Boss/Enemy rando categories. The difficulty will be Beginner, with Slightly Easy Item placement, and Datas, Terra, and Sephiroth will be off. Somethings to note:

  5. - If you have placed **Top 8** in any season of 1 Hour Challenge, or placed **Top 8** in the Boss Hunter tournament, you are ineligible to play in this tournament. **If you have placed outside of Top 8 in these tournaments, or have not played in any of these tournaments, you are eligible to play still.**
  6. - This tournament is going to be *PC Only*.
  7. - We will be using the Boss/Enemy Rando Companion mod. This mod goes at the top of the mod load order, ABOVE the Boss/Enemy seed. Please download and install the mod through OpenKH here: shananas/BossRandoCompanion
  8. - We will be using codename_geek's version of the tracker that enables boss progression hints. Every time you kill a boss, you will get a progression hint telling you where a boss is. Download the tracker here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HYoSkcOj7WQjlafGepXU1IvX4qGeRRgU/view?usp=sharing
  9. - We will be using DA's version of the generator that includes Chest Type Matches Contents (CTMC) and does not have Storm Rider and Riku randomized. CTMC allows you to visually see what's in a chest before opening it, allowing you to skip "junk" chests.   10. - We will be using roromaniac's Battleship/Boss tracker. Unfortunately, this tracker does not support autotracking currently with these custom builds of the generator and tracker. Download the latest version in #trackers-and-hint-systems and download the tournament preset for the tracker attached to this message and **place it in your presets folder where you installed your tracker.**
  11. - There are boss replacements currently in the generator that will not be generated in tournament seeds. Currently these bosses are:

  13. - Pete over Xigbar
  14. - Final Xemnas over Pete
  15. - Final Xemnas over Armored Xemnas I and II
  16. - Final Xemnas over Xigbar
  17. - Larxene over Armored Xemnas 1
  18. - Demyx over Luxord
  19. - Cerberus over Scar
  20. - The Hades replacement can ONLY be marked when you fight the replacement in OC2, NOT Hades Escape.
  21. - All Top 16 matches will be restreamed to https://www.twitch.tv/zeddikus__ . If you do not want your match to be restreamed, please reach out to zeddikus60 in DMs.
