- Mega Charizards have always been my favourtie megas since the mega evolution idea was introduced by gamefreak because I always liked fire-typed pokemon and I must have one on my team regardless. I have always favoured CharizardY over its counterpart, Charizard X due to Char-Y's cool outlook and it's massive special attack stat of 159 with the ability to set up drought. I had a previous CharY team that I brought to my first Premier Challenge which gave me a taste of being 5-0 at swiss rounds but lost to a mirror CharizardY battle in semis because he had thundurus with swagger which resulted my team being haxed to death. The team is available on pastebin and I used raichu instead of weavile that time which proved to be not bad at all. This time I wanted improve my team and try a fake out user with better offensive pressure. I looked up for other Charizard-Y teams and built a team similar to my reference.

- CharizardY is the star player in the team because it gets important KOs with the support of Weavile's Fake Out. It can also set-up tailwind when it lacks offensive pressure and this idea was obtained from Blake Hopper(Bopper)/Pearl. Flamethrower was chosen over Heat wave because the miss factor was critical and it has caused my team a lot of games. Timid nature with 188 investment in speed allows me to outspeed max speed Jolly Landorus-T and potentially OHKO them if they are not assault vest.

- Choice banded Landorus-T is one of my favourite pokemon in the metagame. Choice Band allowed me to forgo investing too much in Landorus’ attack, which in turn allows it to be heavily trained in speed and bulk. It also allow Lando-T to potentailly OHKO lesser HP invested Heatrans with Earthquake or even Superpower.
- This Landorus is able to survive an Ice Beam from 100 SAtk Suicune 100% of the time, survive a +1 Sucker Punch from Life Orb Bisharp, while still OHKOing Pokemon like Charizard and Kangaskhan that were trained to barely survive attacks from 252-Attack Adamant Choice Scarf Landorus. During the tournament, the use of Choice Band was most useful against all the Shuca Berry Heatran I faced. The moveset is standard, because this is still Landorus after all. I did consider Knock Off, but U-Turn allowed me to shuffle Intimidate better, as well as do neat things like reseting Scrafty’s Fake Out or healing Amoonguss with Regenerator while still keeping it on the field. The set was obtained from Raphael Bagara's 2nd place 2015 US Nationals Team.
- Sylveon @ Life Orb
- Ability: Pixilate

- EVs: 148 HP / 28 Def / 216 SpA / 116 Spe
- Modest Nature
- - Hyper Voice
- - Hidden Power [Ground]
- - Helping Hand
- - Protect
- Sylveon was hardly used due to prevalent heatrans running crazy in the metagame. This set was also taken from Bopper and i modified it a little to be more offensive since it cannot survive any returns or double edges at without any attack drops. 116 was invested in speed to outspeed Mega-Salamence in tailwind which have to proved to be crucial in many battles as faster sylveon has advantages over other syvleon and aegislashes. There were a lot of situations when a damaged aegislash( 70-80% HP left) was one-on-one against my sylveon and I protected which allows aegislash to change into shield form where a lot of players expected their aegislash to be faster so they stayed in blade-forme and result in sylveon KO-ing blade form aegislash with HP ground.

- There's nothing significant with this ev spread and I just want to have the fastest prankster user on the field as i can shut down opposing Thundurus with taunt which could potentially cause disruptions in my playstyle with thunder waves.

- A lot of rain team has destroyed me with correct switches which has prevented my CharizardY to do serious damage. I put trick room and skill swap on Cresselia because I wanted to get the sun up without switching out. Other moves are kind of standard on Cresselia and it is hardly tested since my leads were always Weavile-Charizard with Lando-t and Thundurus in the back.I tested this team on Showdown and it proved to be above average with a record of 30-10. :)
