  1. Let's establish a timeline:
  2.
  3. - Jul. 20, 2022: AARO was formed with Kirkpatrick as director
  4. - Jun. 05, 2023: Grusch's article on The Debrief ([Article](https://thedebrief.org/intelligence-officials-say-u-s-has-retrieved-non-human-craft/))
  5. - Jul. 26, 2023: Congressional hearing on UAPs ([Transcript](https://www.congress.gov/118/meeting/house/116282/documents/HHRG-118-GO06-Transcript-20230726.pdf)).
  6. - Grusch (under oath) said he had a classified conversation with Kirkpatrick where he shared some concerns on April 2022
  7. - Luna referred to Grusch interview in which said that there was no followup to the conversation, and Grusch implicitly confirmed.
  8. - Oct. 31, 2023: Roundtable with Kirkpatrick released ([Transcript](https://www.defense.gov/News/Transcripts/Transcript/Article/3575588/aaro-director-dr-sean-kirkpatrick-holds-an-off-camera-media-roundtable/)) where he said:
  9. - he believed the last time he spoke with Grusch was about 5 years before (~2018)
  10. - AARO extended an invitation for Grusch to "come in" at least 4 or 5 times in the last "8 months or so" (~ March to October)
  11. - Oct. 31, 2023: NewsNation's Brian Entin reported that Grusch sent an email saying that he had "zero emails of calls" from AARO and that "this is a lie" ([Tweet](https://twitter.com/TheUfoJoe/status/1719529645853552710), [Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W5HWzRnzvQ)).
  12. - Apr. 18, 2024: The Black Vault released a FOIA about AARO trying to reach out to Grusch ([Post](https://www.theblackvault.com/documentarchive/foia-documents-reveal-aaros-authorized-and-repeated-attempts-to-engage-with-david-grusch/))
  13. - According to AARO documents in the FOIA, Kirkpatrick tried to communicate with Grusch starting at June 8, 2023, by talking with people related to him.
  14.
  15. I was gonna make a big analysis, but I don't have the time now.
  16.
  17. Just some notes:
  18.
  19. - It is only a small sample, but Kirkpatrick seems manipulative in the conversation with Mellon. Because of that, I would consider the possibility of him lying at some places to achieve things.
  20. - Assuming the FOIA conversations being legit ([very reasonable to assume](https://twitter.com/ChrisKMellon/status/1781105352865460253)), the "This is a lie" email from Grusch to Brian Entin is at minimum misleading, at max a lie.
  21. - I suspect the interaction between Grusch and NewsNation went something like this:
  22. - NewsNation sent an email to Grusch saying that Kirkpatrick said "X" and asking if he wanted to respond.
  23. - Grusch got triggered by "X", and, responded in a very literal way (we don't know what "X" is, but in this scenario it would be something that is technically wrong, but, the intention of what was said right).
  24. - I think the thing about Grusch not appearing at the scheduled time was just a misunderstanding. According to the emails, they marked a time and Grusch requested some info from them before the meeting. They didn't deliver the info, so Grusch assumed there would be no meeting.
  25.
  26. What I would personally like to see is a reply from Grusch about the AARO investigation. Grusch conducted an investigation, AARO conducted another about the same thing. Why is it that they reached such different conclusions? And, about this case in specific, a comment from Grusch about what he meant in "This is a lie." (this would help his case a bit), since it looks sorta damning (assuming NewsNation is not inventing stuff, but I don't think they would do that).
  27.
  28. Extra: Timeline with "allegations"
  29.
  30. - ~2018: Kirkpatrick says he remembered last talking with Grusch.

  32. - Jul. 2022: Kirkpatrick becomes the director of AARO.
  33. - Mar. 2023: Kirkpatrick says invitations for Grusch started around here.
  34. - Jun. 2023: Grusch's article on The Debrief.
