- Description: Adkins was burglarizing her home when Catherine came home. He jumped on her with such force that he broke her back, leaving her paralyzed and mute while he grabbed a bread knife. When her body was found, it was observed that her carotid artery had been cut, and she had been stabbed in the back of the neck and nearly decapitated.
