To answer your question about updates?
If an update will come out you will be automatically notified.

For the other questions I would like to explain the next:

"this comes from a lot of PC gamers, we have been hyped only to be left in the cold"

We know a lot of PC gamers feels like they have been left in the cold.
However, what a lot of PC-gamers do not realize, is that a game for a console, is pretty easy to develop.
Developing a game that fit every PC (brands, homemade, secondhand) is not possible.
In reality there are millions and millions of different computers, all with there own configurations.

Games are build for the average computer because th
So the tests will be on average best working cards, but not all of them, because that is just not possible.

It would be easier if gamers would by only one sort of computer so we could make a game that would fit them all.

I think that solution is there, by inventing an Xbox, Playstation or other consoles.

I hope I took you a little bit out of the cold.
It is not negligence, but simply a matter of not possible.
