Eagan Electronics

There have been several rumors going around between megacorporations about Eagan Electronics and their higher than average quality products that seem to be coming out of the blue for such a small company. Could it be some prodigy they picked up, stolen tech? Possible, It's even put them under scrutiny due to the latter assumption. Either or, a lot of small fry companies, investors, and media outlets seem to believe this is the case. But another possibility, is that E-E has found something grand, something beyond our, and maybe even their comprehension.

 Through online sources, It seems that this might actually be the case. Earlier in 2560, a large chunk of Hephaestus Industries' Data buffer was leaked. The information leaked contained several juicy bits on thing ranging from new business inquires from gun runners to corporate security firms, Valuable data that was being sent throughout their servers, and, a file on Eagan Electronics. Inside that file were discussions on a topic called 'Relinquo Domum', Which talks about a E-E space station located somewhere inside of the Kernel system. The exact whereabouts of this station are as of now are unknown, but speculation suggests that it might be orbiting a satellite close to Root itself.

 Even with this speculation, it is dubitable as to its legitimacy due to the fact that there is very little surveillance into Union territory. It wasnt long until more info on the matter began to trickle in, and soon enough other megacorporations started to take notice of the leak and the new information coming in. It was all still whispers in the net until finally, real, concrete evidence of the space station came to light. Later in the same year the Hephaestus files were leaked, a video surfaced on a dark web information auction site. From a short trailer of the video it showed an employee of Eagan Electronics Discussing with a man (both faces obscured) the details of the station and 'Relinquo Domum', to be the actual name of the station.

 No exact coordinates were stated in the video as to where Relinquo Domum is, but assuming the video is indeed legitimate confirms that the initial theory was true. Eagan Electronics had indeed found something, The E-E employee even went as far to say that their secret on Relinquo Domum was a sentient, possibly artificial being that had been discovered in late 2558. The trailer however did not go on any further than that, and no known copy of the full video is out on the web - the buyer of the video having never uploaded it anywhere after purchasing. Demands for further information on the space station and Eagan Electronics quickly began popping up on similar sites, even a few bounties had popped up boasting high payments for any information on the matter.

It's been two years now since that spark of controversy. The information is still at large, and only tiny bits and pieces come in - just enough to keep the search going.

Could Eagan Electronics be that good at hiding their tracks? Whatever it might be, the bounties are still there, big time corporations still speculate about it, and even the Positronic Union hasn't commented on the matter - even when directly prompted. Eagan Electronics continues to grow, and so does their tech advance. Reverse engineering their machines gives scraps at best, and even now they are moving into their next avenue. Looking through the Torch's public records you can see the names of people and companies who have put their resources into the project, it just so happens that Eagan Electronics has put in a considerable amount of theirs in.

Money, robots, drones, and even a small team of research personnel have all been invested into the Torch program, but why? Well, whatever the case may be for this, It could very well be the next breakthrough in discovering just how E-E has achieved so much.

All that needs to happen now, is to get someone to talk.
