It was a rather nice night in the Bakery, as Sylvee had checked her inventory for the night since she lately had gotten more sales as Halloween drew near and she had ordered some pumpkins to make some  pumpkin cake tomorrow. Tonight she had stayed in work a bit later than usual and she already called her father in advance, it's 11:30 PM already which means she's going to close the business for the night.

Once she was done and sure everything was locked and maintained everything well, she would go to the coat hanger and snatch her  candy themed jacket... But not before hanging her apron. She treasured the Bakery the most since it's from the family business side of her mom.

With a soft hum she would quietly turn off the lights whilst keeping the refrigeration on since she want to see a sweet get spoiled overnight, she also activated some really basic security camera since she's not careless even if the town isn't dangerous.

"It's been another nice day... Halloween sales are going to be really good this year."

She smiled to herself as she spoke on her own, grabbing her backpack which had some of the usual stuff and pulled out a phone from the pocket of her pants to check the time.

"Huh... 11:36 PM. I better get home then, Daddy is probably at home snoring and watching some silly game show. . ."

She sighed to herself, she had been quite busy for herself... Maybe she should cook him some breakfast in anticipation, especially since he'd get hasty to go to work.

"Well, that's that. Good night mom."

Once she had done everything she needed, she'd go outside the bakery with the keys and locked the business down, a gentle and chilly breeze would caress her cheek as the streetlights were flickering a bit. It was fall and it gets quite chilly...

Sylvee had lived in the outer parts of , away from the skyscrapers and tall buildings. Yet not far enough to not have business attend to her bakery. The signs of her business and other businesses were in japanese, meaning that she's in Japan.

"Geez, it's so chilly tonight and so lonely. I better take the shortcut by the forest tonight to get to home faster..."

Sylvee would say with a slight hint of concern, this town doesn't have any serial killers or any kind of awful people like that... Yet she's afraid Urban legends she had particularly learned of lurking spirit which roam at this hour. Just the thought of them is enough to make her skin shudder, so she walked her way to home.

The streetlights weren't comfortable either, as she had stayed alert and didn't like the flickering of them. To calm herself down she'd take out her phone again and began to fiddle with the internet, she was on a data plan anyway so she spent the time to chat with her friends who were still up.

Eventually she went towards an alleyway which led her towards a forest, walking through the alley was unnerving with this much darkness. Yet she was fine once she out of the alleyway and into the forest, reinforcing her confidence as she'd go into it.

"H-Haha. Well I guess ghosts don't really exist, I'm silly for thinking they did."

She chuckled as she'd keep walking through the dead trees, only the sound of crunching leaves filling her ears. Little she knew it'd be a long night...
