(12:16:34 PM) ***Blueshift_North fidgets nervously.  "So uh.  Should you do the talking for this part or should I?" She asks her girlfriend.  "I mean.  How.  Do we talk through that."
(12:16:55 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda bites her lip. "I...don't know."
(12:21:17 PM) Blueshift_North: "Well.  How do you want them to find out?"
(12:21:56 PM) Ikiryo: "How do you even do that? I mean, 'hi, I was dead'..." She shakes her head, looking unsure.
(12:25:24 PM) Blueshift_North: "Maybe?" She hugs Adelinda.
(12:27:15 PM) Ikiryo: "How do you think I should tell them?" She hugs back.
(12:29:51 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean we could just make a call together or we could go in person?"
(12:30:32 PM) Ikiryo: "Either works for me..."
(12:34:43 PM) Blueshift_North: ". . . Let's make a call."
(12:35:43 PM) Ikiryo: "Instead of spending hours going nowhere worrying?" She nods
(12:38:53 PM) Blueshift_North: "Yeah, plus it has the conversation now instead of us both trying to pretend we're not about to have a panic attack about the idea of this conversation as we're en route."
(12:39:30 PM) Ikiryo: "Right." She nods.
(12:39:36 PM) Ikiryo: "...can you make the call?"
(12:39:53 PM) Blueshift_North: She goes to make the call. . .
(12:41:18 PM) Ikiryo: Before long, the call goes through...revealing a tall, very muscular man with long blue hair and no shirt on, despite his long coat. Yep, that's Adelinda's dad.
(12:43:50 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . hello sir."
(12:45:08 PM) Ikiryo: "Blueshift! How wonderful to see one of my top smugglers!' North can almost feel the pressure of his presence, even from here.
(12:46:37 PM) Blueshift_North: "It's also nice to see you sir, glad to see you're doing well."
(12:47:16 PM) Ikiryo: He laughs, a bellowing stomach laughs. "I am, I am! And how are you both?"
(12:49:25 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda looks to North, frowning.
(12:50:04 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . well that's what we're here to talk about?"
(12:51:32 PM) Ikiryo: He raises an eyebrow. "Oh?' All of a sudden, his presence shifts...becoming more than a little overwhelming as he sets his jaw seriously...
(12:53:13 PM) Blueshift_North: "I, well uh yes. so what happened is.  Well we were travelling in time, you see. . ."
(12:53:32 PM) Ikiryo: He nods.
(12:53:48 PM) Ikiryo: "And...well...we met the previous god of death..." Adelinda bites her lip.
(12:55:08 PM) Blueshift_North: "Adlendia was, briefly. . . a little bit uh.  Well. . ."
(12:56:44 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, spit it out!"
(12:58:43 PM) Blueshift_North: "She died?"
(1:00:09 PM) Ikiryo: He looks at the pair...and starts to laugh again. "Is that all?! You had me worried!"
(1:00:31 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . really?" She blinks.
(1:01:23 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, she's clearly not dead now, is she?"
(1:01:36 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda blinks a few times. "I...well...no...I'm not..."
(1:03:27 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean it was a bit touchy there for a bit. . ."
(1:05:21 PM) Ikiryo: "But it clearly worked out. You don't worry about the times you die, you worry about when you fail to come back!" He gestures to a massive scar across his own chest. "I'm proud of you daughter!"
(1:07:19 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . congrats?"
(1:09:16 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh, this one is from ages ago. Vladimer thinks he's much better than he really is~" Isn't that the Khadoran Prince they met who is Totally Not A Vampire?
(1:09:35 PM) Ikiryo: "Anyway daughter...I'm glad you're alright and I'm proud of you defying death!"
(1:10:16 PM) Blueshift_North: "I will keep that in mind if I ever see him again."  She goes to hug Adelinda.
(1:10:31 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda hugs back.
(1:10:57 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh and my wife had something she wanted to ask you about! She's wondering when she'll be seeing grandchildren from the two of you!"
(1:11:40 PM) Blueshift_North: North starts coughing.
(1:11:54 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda just stares.
(1:12:00 PM) Ikiryo: "Well?!"
(1:12:58 PM) Blueshift_North: "I-i mean. . ."
(1:14:08 PM) Ikiryo: "Don't worry, take your time! I'll keep her distracted. I'm sure they'll be lovely grandkids!"
(1:15:33 PM) Blueshift_North: "I-i. . . thanks?"
(1:16:57 PM) Ikiryo: "So, was there anything actually important to call about?"
(1:17:36 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . apparently not."
(1:18:06 PM) Ikiryo: "Well, it was fantastic to see you again! Don't be a stranger! After all, you are my baby girl's wife and all!"
(1:18:45 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . won't?"
(1:18:53 PM) Blueshift_North: North is blushing a lot.
(1:19:08 PM) Ikiryo: And the call cuts.
(1:19:17 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda pauses. "Wait...WIFE?"
(1:19:51 PM) Blueshift_North: "I mean maybe your sister told them about the future?!?!?!"
(1:20:10 PM) Ikiryo: "We've not even...I mean...do you want to...grandchildren?!"
(1:21:41 PM) Blueshift_North: "I-i mean I wouldn't mind but. . . not while I'm a jail?"
(1:22:02 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda flails.
(1:25:29 PM) Blueshift_North: North leans over and hugs Adelinda.
