  1. Taskmaster
  2. Prerequisites: Brutal Training, Novice Intimidate
  3. At-Will – Extended Action
  4. Target: A Pokémon with at least 2 Tutor Points
  5. Effect: The target loses 2 Tutor Points, and gains the Cruelty Ability.
  6.
  7. Desperate Strike
  8. Prerequisites: Taskmaster
  9. 1 AP - Free Action
  10. Trigger: Your Pokemon triggers Cruelty
  11. Effect: Your Pokemon's Cruelty Frequency is not expended, and Cruelty effects may be purchased as if the foe had additional injuries equal to the number of injuries on your Pokemon. Desperate Strike may be used once per Scene per Pokemon.
  12.
  13. Harsh Training
  14. Prerequisites: Taskmaster, Adept Intimidate
  15. At-Will - Free Action
  16. Trigger: You apply Brutal Training to your Pokemon as Training
  17. Effect: Your Pokemon becomes Hardened, and if it has less than three injuries, it gains enough injuries to have three total injuries. Hardened Pokemon do not lose Hit Points from acting while Heavily Injured, and Injuries beyond the 5th do not lower their Maximum Hit Points (They still die if they gain 10 injuries however). Additionally, your Hardened Pokemon gain bonuses based on the number of Injuries they have. If your Pokemon loses enough injuries to have less than three injuries, it stops being Hardened.
  18. Injury Bonuses
  19. 3+: +5 to Initiative
  20. 5+: +5 Damage Resistance
  21. 7+: Immune to Hit Point Loss due to Status Conditions or other effects.
  22. 9+: Resists all damage two steps.
  23.
  24. Pain Resistance
  25. Prerequisites: Harsh Training
  26. At-Will - Extended Action
  27. Target: Your Hardened Pokemon.
  28. Effect: You may remove up to three injuries from the target, and the target gains two Ticks of Hit Points for each injury removed this way. The Injury Removal from this Feature counts as Natural Healing, and thus counts towards the maximum of three injuries that can be removed from a Pokemon per day.
  29.
  30. Strike of the Whip
  31. Prerequisites: Taskmaster, Press
  32. At-Will – Swift Action
  33. Trigger: You use Press
  34. Effect: You may apply one or more of the following effects to the Pokémon hit by Press:
  35. » Give the target 1 Injury and 1 Tick of Temporary Hit Points.
  36. » Spend 1 AP and cure the target of Confusion, Infatuation, Rage, and Suppression.
  37. » Use an [Order] you know on the target as a Free Action.
  38.
  39. Scars and Scabs
  40. Prerequisites: Taskmaster, Expert Intimidate
  41. 1 AP - Free Action
  42. Trigger: Your Pokemon with 1 or more injuries takes Damage
  43. Effect: Your Pokemon gains 5 Damage Reduction against the triggering attack per Injury it has. Scars and Scabs may be used once per Scene per Pokemon.
  44.
  45. Press On!
  46. Prerequisites: Taskmaster, Expert Intimidate
  47. At-Will – Free Action
  48. Trigger: Your Pokémon with 3 or more Injuries is Fainted, but remains at above -30% Hit Points.
  49. Effect: Your Pokémon instead does not Faint and does not gain an Injury from passing the 0 Hit Points marker. Instead, your Pokemon Faints upon reaching -30% Hit Points. Pokémon cannot use the Moves Explosion, Endure, Pain Split, or Selfdestruct while they have 0 Hit Points or less. Pokémon with the Soulless capability cannot benefit from Press On!
  50.
  51. Deadly Gambit
  52. Prerequisites: 5 Taskmaster Features, Master Intimidate
  53. Scene – Free Action
  54. Trigger: Your Pokémon is the target of a foe’s damaging melee attack
  55. Effect: The triggering attack automatically hits as if it was a Critical Hit. Before damage resolves, your Pokémon may use a 1-Target damaging attack on the foe making the triggering attack as an Interrupt, Frequency allowing, and also automatically hits as a Critical Hit. Damage for both attacks then resolve at the same time.
  56.
  57. Note: This effect bypasses immunity to Critical Hits on your own Pokémon, but not on the target. Though both attacks hit automatically and are Critical Hits, you may still roll to activate effects.
  58.
  59. --------------------
  60.
  61. Cruelty
  62. Scene – Swift Action
  63. Trigger: The user hits a foe with a damaging attack
  64. Effect: After Damage is Resolved, the foe gains an Injury. The user is then informed of the total number of Injuries currently on the target, and may use that number to "purchase" the effects listed below.

  66. 1: The foe is Slowed.
