  1. Note: Olorisha is Olori (a title of honor in Yoruba culture) and Orisha (the term for a pantheon of gods in Yoruba religion)
  2.
  3. The Field Spell.
  4. Orun, the Olorisha Spirit Plane
  5. Field Spell
  6. If this card is activated as your first Field Spell in a turn: You can add 1 "Olorisha" card from your Deck to your hand. During the End Phase, the turn player can inflict damage to their opponent equal to the highest original DEF amongst monsters they control (max. 3000). If this card would be destroyed by a card effect: You can send 1 "Olorisha" monster from your field to the GY; negate the effect.
  7. Note: Orun is the name of the spirit world in Yoruba myth, where the Orisha reside before coming to the mortal plane.
  8.
  9. "Summon Sequence" Olorishas, the ones that form a summoning cycle that puts bodies on the field, which enables the summon of the boss monsters.
  10. Olorisha Chameleon, Ogagemo
  11. Level 3/LIGHT/Reptile/Effect
  12. 1000ATK/1500DEF
  13. If this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 2 "Olorisha" cards with different names from your Deck to your hand, but for the rest of this turn you cannot Summon monsters from your Extra Deck. Your opponent cannot target this card for attacks or card effects while you control an "Olorisha" monster other than "Olorisha Chameleon, Ogagemo".
  14. Note: Oga (Yoruba for Chameleon) + Agemo (The messenger of gods amongst the Orisha, who is a Chameleon). Its field effect represents it hiding as that misconception.
  15.
  16. Olorisha Shaman, Ajagun
  17. Level 4/LIGHT/Plant/Effect
  18. 1500ATK/1800DEF
  19. You can send 1 "Olorisha" monster from your hand to the GY: Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is in your GY: You can Special Summon it, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Olorisha Shaman, Ajagun" per turn, and only once that turn.
  20. Note: Aja (the god of wildlife, who is a master of herbal medicine) + Onisegun (Yoruba term for medicine man). Its GY effect represents "healing" or "recovery" I guess.
  21.
  22. Olorisha Plague, Babalue
  23. Level 5/LIGHT/Zombie/Effect
  24. 1300ATK/2000DEF
  25. When this card is sent to the GY from your hand: You can Summon this card. You can only Summon "Olorisha Plague, Babalue" once per turn this way. When your opponent takes effect damage: You gain LP equal to the damage they took.
  26. Note: Babalue Aye (the Orisha god that can cure diseases, but also spreads them). Its effect is more directly healing and its invoked by your opponent's damage so it covers healing and plague.
  27.
  28. The idea is that you Normal Summon Chameleon. He gets you both Shaman and Plague, you pitch Plague for Shaman's summon, and Plague comes back with its own effect. This Deck does not care for an Extra Deck so Chameleon's restriction does not matter, and you got 3 bodies for summoning Battle Queen or Thunderstorm.
  29.
  30. Boss Olorisha (the ones that punch your opponent the most)
  31. Olorisha Battle Queen, Moremi
  32. Level 7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect
  33. 1900ATK/2800DEF
  34. You can only control 1 "Olorisha Battle Queen, Moremi". If you control 3 or more monsters in face-up Defense Position, you can Summon this card (from your hand). The original DEF of monsters your opponent controls is treated as being half of its value for applying the effect of "Orun, the Olorisha Spirit Plane".
  35. Note: Moremi Ajasoro, a Yoruba queen who was deified as one of the Orisha after her death. Her effect is like her shielding the player like the good queen she is.
  36.
  37. Olorisha Thunderstorm, Oyaiji
  38. Level 10/LIGHT/Thunder/Effect
  39. 2000ATK/3000DEF
  40. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by sending 3 "Olorisha" monsters you control to your GY. You can only control 1 "Olorisha Thunderstorm, Oyaiji". Cannot be destroyed by battle while you control another Level 10 "Olorisha" monster. Once per turn: You can inflict 1500 damage to your opponent. You must only control monsters in face-up Defense Position to activate and resolve this effect.
  41. Note: Oya (Orisha of Storm (wind, thunder and lightning) as well as the dead, also wife of Shango) + Iji (Yoruba for Storm). Her effect is like she strikes at the opponent with her thunderous wrath.
  42.
  43. Olorisha Firestorm, Shangina
  44. Level 10/LIGHT/Pyro/Effect
  45. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by its own effect. If you control a Level 10 "Olorisha" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Cannot be destroyed by card effects while you control another Level 10 "Olorisha" monster. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can destroy all Attack position monsters your opponent controls, also for the rest of this turn your opponent takes no battle damage.
  46. Note: Shango (Orisha of Fire, Lightning, Justice, and Virility, also husband of Oya) + Ina (Yoruba for Flame). His effect is like him using fire to burn the opponent's offensive line up in flames.
  47.
  48. Miscellaneous Olorisha monsters, have their own unique qualities and are like side options.
  49. Olorisha Twins, Ibewo and Jide
  50. Level 4/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect
  51. 1500ATK/1500DEF
  52. When this card is Summoned: Gain 1000 LP. The first time this card on the field would be destroyed by battle or card effect, it is not, also take 1000 damage after the attack or effect resolves.
  53. Note: Ibeji (a pair of Orisha that represent twins, duality, good fortune and bad omens) + Taiwo (first born) & Kenhide (second born). Its effects on Summon and on the field reflect good and bad fortune.
  54.
  55. Olorisha Mother, Yemoja
  56. Level 10/LIGHT/Aqua/Effect
  57. 0ATK/3000DEF
  58. If you control 4 monsters in face-up Defense Position: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only control 1 "Olorisha Mother, Yemoja". Cannot be destroyed by card effects while you control "Orun, the Olorisha Spirit Plane". Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Olorisha" monster from your GY.
  59. Note: Yemoja (One of the progenitor gods in Yoruba myth, the mother of all beings, she is also the spirit of rivers.) Her effect is like a mother carrying her child around the field I guess.
