To implement a periodic debate event on the Virtual Dreamers Discord server that features popular topics picked to engage as many server members as possible.

Implementation: -----------------------------------------

1: Collect topic ideas from members during a set time period. Staff then filter the ideas and post a poll on the server.
2: The N most popular topics become the featured topics in a dedicated channel, and a voice channel for debates is created.
3: For the duration of the event (possibly weekly, with debate featured on specific days) discussion is encouraged on the topic.
4: Active debaters could receive points (we could use a bot to keep track) for activity and popularity of their ideas.
5: Depending on Greg's personal interests in the various topics, the viewpoints and arguments could be featured in a video.

Thoughts: -----------------------------------------------

I hope that adding extra focus topics, especially ones voted on by the server, would boost discussion (especially in tandem with the existing badge system and the inclusion of a points system), and it shouldn't take away from existing debate because we could isolate the debates into their own channel(s).

Having more people bring unique viewpoints to the debates will help change the server's discussion, and this will definitely work well with the recruitment initiative, due to new people with new viewpoints joining the server.
