Birthday shit.

Covet: -Kelsey walked into the cafe, and walked up to the counter seeing the waitress and gave her a wave- Hey, Can I get my schedule for this next week please? -She asked politely then saw Brad at the counter- Hey you, how's the pie?
Alexithymiaa: -He turned his head when he heard the familiar sound of Kelsey's voice, sending her an easy smile and setting his fork down to rest on the side of his plate. "Hey. Amazing as always. How are you?"-
Covet: I'm doing pretty good. Mind if I join you? -she asked him, as she sat down at the counter.- Just came to get my schedule. I've got an extra day off this week because I'm leaving early Thursday morning with Care, to go meet up with Liz in Atlanta. -Kelsey said clapping her hands together.-
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, is that this weekend?" He laughed and picked up his fork again, finishing off his slice of pie. "You girls are going to have tons of fun."-
Covet: *early friday morning.
Covet: [Wow...fuckin up all over the place]
Tsaaq: Hayley came into the cafe and ordered a coffee. She waved in the direction of Kelsey and Brad, pulling out some sheet music and a pen as she sat at the counter.
Covet: Yeah, It is and we totally are. I'm looking forward to it. -She said then looked over at Hayley as she sat at the counter too- Hi Hayley...oooh.... music...what's that for? -she asked, suddenly interested, and peeking over her shoulder-
Alexithymiaa: "You should be." He lifted a hand to wave to Hayley when she came in and settled back in his chair, moving to adjust the beanie on his head. "Hey Hayley. How're you?"-
Tsaaq: "I'm okay I guess. How are you?" She replied shrugging. "Tomorrow is Bliss' birthday. I'm working on a meldey for her." She said as she leaned her elbow on the counter while scribbling on the paper.
Covet: I'm doing good. OH! That's right it is her birthday tomorrow. No Slumber party this year... -Kelsey said with a frown- I actually haven't heard if she was doing something this year or not. -Kelsey watched what she was doing on the paper, then looked up as her schedule was given to her.- Oh can I get a piece of cherry berry pie please?
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, there's no party? There should be a party." Brad rubbed his hands over the legs of his jeans, getting a little excited. "Is Eli planning a party?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley shrugged again. "I don't know. She didn't mention anything, I was just going to play the song for her or post it on squawks or something..." She said quietly. "That was my plan anyways."
Covet: -Kelsey still frowned- I don't know, I haven't gotten an order for a cake or anything. I guess I could make her a personal cake or some cupcakes and make them super yummy and "gourmet" -she said adding the quotes.-
Alexithymiaa: "I bet she would like that. Or maybe we can decorate Talon for her birthday a little?" He asked, his brows raised as he looked between the two girls.-
Tsaaq: "Bliss doesn't like surprises." Hayley said with her eyebrows raised. "You should probably ask or something if you want to do something." She suggested then went back to scribbling on the paper, furrowing her eyebrows at it.
Covet: Yeah, and I don't want to step on Eli's toes if he DOES have anything planned. Last I saw her at the dorms was a couple weeks ago, when I asked her to show up, because things were bad at Talon....-she said softly-
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, that makes sense." He settled into silence, just thinking. "What if we made her a giant card. Like.. out of one of those poster board things and we all wrote something inside and signed it for her?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley darted her eyes a moment. "I mean... If you want to do that then that's cool or whatever." She said awkwardly the looked over to Kelsey, just silently looking at her then lowering her head.
Covet: I think that would be sweet. I'll still totally going to make her some cupcakes though. Everyone needs cupcakes. -She said then glanced at Hayley, catching her look, feeling instantly bad about bringing that up. She mouthed an "I'm Sorry"  and rubbed her shoulder in a comforting way.-
Alexithymiaa: -Brad furrowed his brows, his eyes darting between the two girls. "Wait, what happened at Talon?"-
Tsaaq: "Just make sure it's not carrot cake. She hates carrots." Hayley murmured, she glanced to Kelsey again then instantly turned her head. She bit the inside of her cheek and shrugged Kelsey's hand from her shoulder. "Stop it." Hayley whispered, trying her best to not sound upset. Her gaze held on the sheet music. "Nothing."

Covet: [Hi]
Covet: No no, It won't be carrot cake. It will be something that's super special fo her. Thank you for that information. -She smiled taking her hand off Hayley's shoulder, then  looked at Brad-It's nothing. We don't need to talk about it right now. -She said looking at Brad with a stern look-
HoodedVigilante: -Tyler pulled his vehicle up to the Depot cafe, he shut it off and got out of it, he walked up to the door and opened it, he smiled seeing a familiar face and some new faces, he walked over and sat next to them- Whats up guys? For thos of you that dont know me, Im Tyler, Im new here
Alexithymiaa: "Okay....." He said a bit awkwardly, shifting in his seat now that he felt extremely uncomfortable with whatever it was that he missed. "But if you girls want to sign that card, that would be nice. I'm sure she'd appreciate it." As Tyler walked in, Brad's eyes scanned over him from head to toe, a small smirk crossing his lips. "Hey Tyler. Nice to meet you. I'm Brad."-
Tsaaq: "We don't need to talk about it any fucking time because it's nobody's fucking business." Hayley said begrudgingly in a low voice. "I think she'll like her song thing so if I don't sign the card it wouldn't be that bad." Hayley said, leaning her head in her hand. She glanced up at Tyler, darted her eyes then lowered her head once more. "Okay." She said, unsure of what to say to that.

Covet: -Kelsey nodded her head, dropping the subject entirely- For sure. I'd totally sign that. I can help make it and stuff too, if you need a creative crafty hand that is -She said with a sweet smile, then looked at Hayley- I bet that Bliss will love it. You're a really good musician and she'll appreciate that you spent time on something like that for her. -Kelsey looked over and gave a wave to Tyler.- Hey there, You know me, so I don't need to introduce myself, and this is Hayley.
HoodedVigilante: -Tyler nodded to Brad- You too man- he waved back at Kelsey, joining them and sitting down listening to them- Nice to meet you all, was I interupting? Anything interesting?
Alexithymiaa: "Just discussing birthday plans for a friend." He smiled at Tyler, leaning back in his chair and studying the male. "I haven't seen you around before. Are you new to town?"-
Tsaaq: "Yeah... I guess so. Everybody in this school sings. It makes it you feel not so unique..." Hayley murmured uneasily. "Hi." She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and pursed her lips, replying to Tyler with a lazy shrug. She traced her pen cap along the notes of the sheet music.
Covet: But just because everyone sings... doesn't mean they sing like you do, though. -Kelsey told her. then looked at Tyler- Yeah just figuring out what make. I've got Cupcake ideas brewing up here -she said tapping her head as her piece of pie was put in front of her. She picked up her fork and took a bite.-
HoodedVigilante: I see- he smiled and nodded- Yea im new, I came here like, last week, ive met Kelsey, but thats about it I think- he shrugged- Brownies are always good? Does it have to be cupcakes?
Alexithymiaa: "I think Kels just likes cupcakes because she can decorate them all pretty." He laughed, glancing over at Kelsey briefly before turning back to Tyler. "Brownies are good though."-
Tsaaq: Hayley sighed a bit and put the pen down, biting her lip a moment. "Yeah but all black girls sing like me." She shrugged. "No, she doesn't like brownies. You should make something that would leave the least amount of a mess. A cupcake works cause she probably won't even eat it, She'll just keep it. She still has most of the cake from last year in pristine condition in her freezer." Hayley explained as she lifted her head.
Covet: See, that right there is exactly why I want to make cupcakes. Because they are a smaller bite of something that will be perfect. Though... that cake is never going to taste the same, and I'm a little saddened by this. -Kelsey frowned taking another bite- and besides, Birthday brownies just doesn't sound right -She said wrinkling her nose as she looked at Tyler.-  Brad's also on point with that decoration comment. -she added-
HoodedVigilante: -0-he chuckled- Understandable, do you guys need any help? Im totally down, I love brownies, technically you can decorate them too-he nodded as he listened to Hayley- Thats impressive, food doesnt last in my place and I know birthday brownies dont sound right, i just threw it out there- he smiled
Alexithymiaa: "We appreciate the input." Brad said, his eyes drifting over Tyler's arms. "Wow, do you work out?"-
Tsaaq: "Well she's not gonna eat it. She wants to be able to look at it." She said, shrugging at Kelsey. "Well my friend is very good at saving stuff." Hayley told Tyler. She furrowed her eyebrows, slowing turning her head to look at Brad incredulously.
Covet: -Kelsey took another bite of her pie, and chuckled- Well Maybe I should make her a preserved cupcake then. They make them for like photos...the whole idea of "fake food". -She looked at Brad and raised an eyebrow wondering if she'd heard his question correctly.-
HoodedVigilante: -Tyler laughed looking at Brad- Well yea, I do-he shrugged again- But its  not a big deal-he nodded at Hayley- Thats awesome- he took another look at Brad, seeing the expressions on the girls face- Why do you ask?
Alexithymiaa: -He shook his head, giving a quick shrug. "Oh, no reason. You just look good, is all."-
Tsaaq: "Yeahhh." She trailed off at Tyler. Hayley blinked a moment and looked to Kelsey, pursing her lips as she lowered her gaze to her cellphone. "I mean, wouldn't that just be a pain in the ass though?" She asked Kelsey. "The fake cupcake thing... I mean." She stammered.
Covet: Guys are so weird. I feel like that would be like me telling you Hayley, Wow, do you wear make up?...while she's wearing make up. -She chuckled then shook her head- Oh no no, Because it's just strofoam and then the frosting and all that is still the same, because it's just sugar, so then you spray it with this special coating and voila  preserved cupcake.
Alexithymiaa: (Honestly, now I want one...)
HoodedVigilante: Thats man- he laughed and looked at the girls as they continued the conversation- I dont know who the cupcakes are for, but i dont know...maybe you could just try
Alexithymiaa: -Brad smiled to Tyler and nodded, easing out of his chair and stretching his arms up over his head. "Well let me know if you need me for anything. I'm going to pick up a piece of poster board on my way back to Talon and head to bed. I'll catch you guys tomorrow." He sent them all a quick wave, his eyes lingering on Tyler a moment before he turned and headed out of the cafe.-
Tsaaq: Hayley put her phone down and looked up at Kelsey. "Oh okay. Yeah that works I guess." She said, peeking at the time. "Oh yeah it is kinda late..." She trailed off. Waving at Brad. "It's my friend's birthday tomorrow. I'm just doing a medley for her but they want to be extra and make cupcakes and cards and shit..." She told Tyler.
Covet: Thanks Brad! -Kelsey said waving as he left then looked at Hayley and tilted her head- I don't have anything to do tomorrow, So I can plan this out perfectly. I'll have it done no problem.  -she waved her hand, and went about finishing her pie- I'll probably be up late working on it or something.
HoodedVigilante: Thats bad ass- he nodded at Hayley, then looked up at Brad- Okay man..I appriciate it- he looked at Kelsey- WOw, everyone is so welcoming here-he looked at Kelsey- Im free if  you guys need any help
Tsaaq: "Well do what you want Kels." She told her. "I guess it is." She said awkwardly as she picked up her sheet music and slid off her stool. "I have no idea what's going on tomorrow to be honest. So yeah." Hayley told him. "I don't know how much longer I should stay here... I'm gonna be driving all the way home by myself." She murmured.
Covet: I'll let you guys know if I hear anything. -Kelsey said with a smile then frowned.- By yourself? Is anyone at the OCH tonight? -Kelsey asked curiously then looked at Tyler- Thanks for offering your help.
HoodedVigilante: -he nodded- Okay, thanks- he looked around, listening to them- Is it bad out there?
Tsaaq: She shook her head. "No, Adam is there. It's just getting over there by myself I usually don't really like. Not this late anyways." She said to Kelsey then glanced at Tyler. "I mean... It's not bad. Some shitty things just happen around here and I get nervous that's all." Hayley tried to sound casual as she shrugged.
Covet: Do you want someone to follow you home in their vehicle? -Kelsey asked as she set her fork down on her empty plate.- I could do that then come back here to make frosting and fondant for tomorrow.
HoodedVigilante: -he looked around the resturant, shrugging at them listening to them- If you eed anything let me know..
Tsaaq: "Thanks." Hayley sighed. "I mean it would be nice. You don't have to." She said as she pouted a little bit. "Okay well... I'm gonna go warm the car up if you are." Hayley said, waving lazily at Tyler and picking up her sheet music as she walked out the cafe.
Covet: It's okay, I don't mind. I imagine that you're going to get food anyways right? -she said looking over at Tyler, then got up out of her seat- I'll be right back, Just want to make sure she gets home safe is all.
HoodedVigilante: -he waved at her back, looking to order something from the menu noding t o kels- Yea, take your time, be safe
Tsaaq: She got into the black prius and started it up, looking in the rearview mirror for Kelsey as she waited so she could pull off and stuff.
Covet: -Kelsey got into her vehicle and made her way towards the exit following Hayley out as they headed to the OCH. Once Hayley was back at the house safe and sound Kelsey made her way back to the diner.-
