  47.
  48. Steel, Physical, 100 BP, 100% Accuracy. It's just Behemoth Blade with a different name. There are no Dynamaxed Pokemon this line can fight.
  49.
  50. Height: 1 ft 6 in. (46 cm)
  51. Biology:
  52.
  53. Shrire could be easily mistaken for a simple shrub when standing still. It is a spherical, sentient shrub, and has no eyes or face typical of many nature-imitating Pokemon. When it is active, Shrire's 'arms', pseudopods of leaves and branches, become obvious- a Shrire's right 'arm' becomes a small, arboreal sword, and its left 'arm' carries a small wooden shield for defense. Its legs are thicker branches, almost like logs, and it tends to wear a small, simple cap, like an ancient squire's, fashioned out of wood. Each Shrire's cap is uniquely imperfect, and no two exact replicas have been found.
  54.
  55. Shrires have nervous, skittish personalities, tending to evade combat and hide behind their shields, and making small noises of fear. However, they are known to have brave hearts in a pinch, and will still protect even weaker Pokemon from predators, such as their apex predator, Talonflame. Groups of Shrires will sometimes crowd around their colony's Quixotree, hoping to become braver. In human society, Shrires will mimic the behavior of their Trainer, and have even been known to perform errands for infirm Trainers, such as grocery shopping.
  56.
  57. Despite their nervous personalities, Shrires are unfailingly loyal, and will follow their Chevarbor coach, or Trainer, anywhere, even at risk to themself. While male and female Shrires have been documented (and the direction of the 'feather' in their cap is different between the genders,) no other dimorphism or difference in personality have been noticed, other than slight differences in voice pitch.

  87.
  88. Biology:
  89.
  90. When a Shrire becomes sufficiently skilled to advance to the tier of Chevarbor, they tend to have become slightly larger. Their old cap is switched out for a new, more ornate visor, which covers the top of their head and 'face' akin to a knight's helmet, and is sharp enough to be used as a weapon. The shield is switched to the right arm, and a Chevarbor graduates from its old sword arm to a left-arm spear made of leaves and branches, which serves as a more solid weapon due to its higher density and sharper point. Its feet are sharpened, as well, to resemble the bottoms of 'greaves'.
  91.
  92. Chevarbors, with their greater experience, are generally more confident, and have graduated to wielding their own shields. They detest unfair play, and prefer to fight honorably, without deceit - no Chevarbor has ever been witnessed using a Dark-type move. Groups of Chevarbors defend colonies under the command of a single Quixotree, and together, they can form powerful battalions with usage of complex military tactics. Local myth tells of a losing military force rebelling against a cruel dictatorship being saved by a group of Chevarbors, whose leader directed them to fight in the name of justice, and who solidly defeated the dictator's forces and pledged their spears in the name of liberty.
  93.
  94. Colonies of Chevarbors practice a ritual ascension ceremony, where the strongest Chevarbors climb to the top of a hill during a thunderstorm and raise their spear to directly take a lightning bolt. Many a foolhardy Chevarbor has returned burnt and damaged. However, upon an ever-rare success...
  95.

  98. Quixotree, the Evergreen Pokemon

  103. -Skill Link (hidden): Maximizes the number of times multistrike moves hit.

  122. Everthrust: "With its ascended heroism, the Pokemon cuts past deceitful preemptive attacks for a relentless spear strike."
  123.
  124. Electric, Physical. 30 BP. Hits two to five times. If an opponent uses a move with positive priority, Everthrust gains +3.5 priority (outspeeds Fake Out, but not Protect).
  125.
  126. Notable TM/Tutor/Breeding Moves:
  127. Leech Seed, Solar Beam, Meteor Beam, Giga Impact, Curse, Synthesis, Shadow Ball
  128.
  129. Biology:
  130.
  131. Chevarbors who succeed in their ritual ascension and harness the power of the lightning become the legendary Quixotree, hero of the colony. On average, only a single Chevarbor per year, if that, succeeds in this transformation, but the rewards are immediately apparent. Their spear evolves, and a shining, yellow branch rises up to snake around the shining spear, which now pulses with an electrical power. With the electricity coursing through its body, Quixotree also obtains a flowing 'cape' of leafage held together by lightning, which billows in the wind dramatically. It receives the ritual helm of the greatest hero, an even more ornate helmet than Chevarbor's.
  132.
  133. The leaves of a Quixotree never fade in color, remaining eternally a vivid green. It is perhaps the newly acquired confidence which leads Quixotrees to doff their shields- Shrires which follow them will still carry the shields, but Quixotree refuses to use the shield out of a sense of honor. Quixotrees move in striking, dramatic poses, with a much grander set of movements than any of its followers. Its new electrical powers allow it to defend its colony against apex predators like Talonflame, moving with lightning-quick movements to counter the movements of the great bird.
  134.
  135. Gone is the nervousness of its young form - an ascended Quixotree is an almost foolhardy warrior which will charge into danger with no fear to protect its flock, be it a colony of Shrires and Chevarbors or its Trainer and Pokemon friends. Its sense of grandeur seems somewhat overblown, as it is known to practice certain moves for situations which will never arise. For instance, it has mastered a similar attack to the legendary Zacian's Behemoth Blade for battling Dynamax Pokemon, despite Quixotree not having ever been located in Galar, the only known location with Dynamax Power Spots. (Folk tales claim this move was mastered during a deadly battle with a giant windmill a Quixotree was certain was some form of Gigantamax Castform. A ruined windmill in the countryside still stands, and is claimed to be this very windmill, struck down in a single blow by Quixotree's mighty Behemoss Blade. The veracity of these claims is unknown.)
  136.
  137. In human society, Quixotrees will still perform the same errands as requested as when it was a Shrire, but studies and personal anecdotes suggest it takes a different attitude towards them due to its different mindset, treating each errand as a grand adventure in its own right. When a Quixotree spots injustice, however, it will bravely leap into the fray, no matter how unreasonable an idea this is. Many a Trainer has reported a Quixotree coming home in weak condition, clearly beaten up, but with its head held high, laughing and proud about its resounding victory before passing out.
