3 deaths from Corona virus in Italy, 152 cases, 25 critical

The Italian Civil Defense announced that three deaths in the country due to the new Corona virus have increased to three cases.

The Director General of the Italian Civil Defense, Angelo Borelli, stated that they had registered a third death in the northern province of Lombardy, noting that the virus had been transmitted to 152 people, including 25 people in a critical health situation.
Borelli explained that the highest cases of the virus were recorded in Lombardy with 110 infections, while the authorities have not yet been able to determine the first person or persons who caused the disease to be transmitted to the country.
In turn, the authorities suspended education activities for a week in many cities, and many churches closed their doors, including the Duomo in Milan, in light of recent developments regarding the spread of infection in Italy.

It is noteworthy that the virus first appeared in Wuhan, central China, on December 12, 2019, but Beijing officially revealed it in mid-January.

For its part, the World Health Organization declared a state of emergency on an international scale to confront the outbreak of the virus, which later spread to several countries, causing a state of terror that prevailed the whole world.
