- Don't bother talking to trainers, you will get the animation anyway
- Delete your save file
- English as language
- Time starts upon selecting New Game

NEW GAME
- Choose the boy
- Give yourself any 1-character name

MELEMELE ISLAND/IKI TOWN ~ ISLAND 1
- Go to Options and click on the right arrow for all options
- Leave your room, mash through cutscene, head back to room, go to box and receive your Bag
- Leave your room, mash through cutscene, go outside
- Follow Kukui to the left and go through Route 1
- There will be several cutscenes, enjoy your torture
- After the cutscene where Lillie stuffs Nebby in her bag, SAVE (you will use this as your starter reset point)
- DON'T nickname Popplio
- Reset for 12+ Special Attack; play around -Sp.Def, play around bad Speed
- Swap Pokemon Refresh with Pokedex, then Refresh immediately after checking stats (3 beans, 6 rubs alternating between nose and top of head)
- Head south to Route 1 and fight Rival 1
- Hau 1: Water Gun x2 Litten
	> Can Pound Litten with good Water Gun roll

IKI TOWN FESTIVAL FESTIVAL
- Mash through more cutscenes, then head east to Route 2
- Enjoy Pikipek tutorial
- Catch forced Pikipek encounter by throwing a Pokeball
- Continue to run up, running from all encounters
- Youngster Jimmy: Water Gun x2 Rattata
	> Rattata outspeeds if low Speed
- Dodge trainers by running around them in the grass
- Exit route, mash through cutscene and fight Hau
- Hau 2: Water Gun x2-3 Pichu, Water Gun x1-2 Litten
	> Potion if below 5 HP

TRAINER SCHOOL
- Mash through cutscene, run southwest and hop ledge to get to Prof. Kukui's lab
- Mash through cutscene, leave house and go up through grass, avoiding trainers
- Head west to go through Pokemon Center tutorial
- Leave Center and run west to Trainer School, mash through cutscenes
- Turn off Exp.Share when received, then Refresh (3 beans, 3 alternating rubs)
- Head inside the school and run to the Preschooler under the staircase
- Preschooler Mia: Water Gun + Disarming Voice Bonsly
	> Water Gun x2 if awful first roll
- Run out to the left, exit, and go through the gate
- Youngster Joey: Water Gun x2 Metapod
	> Pay attention to Speed after level up
- Go back through gate and run to the right side of the building to Hiromi
- Young Athlete Hiromi: Water Gun x2 Pikipek
- Potion after fight if below half HP, pick up the Potion if one was used, run west to the court and fight Joseph
- Rising Star Joseph: Water Gun x3 Grimer
	> If 14+ Speed after Metapod earlier, Potion on Grimer and manip ~24-26 HP for Torrent
		~ Refresh if Poisoned after fight
	> If 14 Speed after Grimer, you are speedtied with Magnemite
- Heal to full by talking to Lillie if not manipping Torrent
- Go into school, go upstairs, safety save?  Fight Emily
- Teacher Emily: Water Gun x2-3 Magnemite, Potion if below 8 HP, Disarming Voice + Water Gun Meowth
	> May have to Potion again if flinched
	> If Speed is 12 or lower after this fight, it's "bad"
- Mash through cutscene, head west for Hau'oli City Beachfront

HAU'OLI CITY
- Mash through cutscenes then run north for more cutscenes
- When prompted, use PokeFinder but exit out immediately
- After Lillie cutscene, immediately go up and talk to the lady for a Silk Scarf
- Run into Center, grab Rare Candy from Cafe, deposit Pikipek and shop
	> Buy 2 Antidotes, 2 Paralyze Heals, 2 Awakenings, 14 Repels from left
	> Buy 4 or 6 X Speeds and 8 X Sp.Atts from right
		~ Buy 6 X Speeds if "bad" Speed
- Make your way south of the map, going through two cutscenes in the process
- After Hau cutscene, go through the gate below, use a Repel [13] and equip the Silk Scarf, then grab the Echoed Voice TM
- Teach Echoed Voice over Pound
- Continue south to the dock
- Skull Grunt: Water Gun x2 Zubat
- You get a free heal before Ilima
- Captain Ilima: X Speed x1-2, X Sp.Att, Echoed Voice x2 Yungoos, Echoed Voice Smeargle
	> 2 X Speeds if "bad" Speed
- Head north and leave Hau'oli City

ROUTE 2
- Use Repel [12], run left into the grass to avoid the Lass, then continue running north
- Preschooler Kaleb: Water Gun x2 Spearow
- Run north to activate Delibird cutscene (free heal)
- Skull Grunt: Echoed Voice x3 Drowzee
- After receiving the Oran Berry, continue north, carefully dodging Backpacker Ashley
- Renew Repel [11], run through bottom path
- After Center cutscene, go to right Mart
	> Buy 7 Super Potions
- Head out and east towards Ilima

VERDANT CAVERN
- Do not renew Repel once prompted
- Go to first burrow, Disarming Voice + Water Gun Rattata
- Run north and get hit by dust cloud, Disarming Voice + Water Gun Rattata
- Run up and right across log bridge, then crawl under the right tunnel
- Grab Super Potion if one was used already or if 3+ Potions have been used already
- Use a Potion, then go to first burrow
- Jump off ledge and go up to second burrow
- Run left to third burrow, grab the X Def, then back over log bridge to activate Team Skull cutscene
- Skull Grunt: Echoed Voice x3 Drowzee
- After cutscene, use a Potion, crawl under right tunnel and go to burrow, Disarming Voice x3 Raticate
	> Teach Aqua Jet over Growl
- Run to north exit, then run up to totem, heal to full, use Repel [10], Save
	> Equip Oran Berry if bad Defense
- Totem Raticate: X Def, X Sp.Att, Disarming Voice x2
	> Heal as necessary; pay attention to Tail Whip usage
- Free heal after fight
- Run to the right to avoid Rattata fight
- Don't renew Repel

ROUTE 3/MELEMELE MEADOW/ROUTE 1/HAU'OLI CITY BEACHFRONT
- Go through Z Crystal cutscene, then run up and right
- Take the bottom path and hug the upper wall
- Once in Melemele Meadow, Repel [9] at flowers
	> Equip Silk Scarf if Oran Berry equipped earlier
- Free heal
- Hau 3: Water Gun x2 + Aqua Jet Pikachu, Water Gun + Aqua Jet Litten
	> Need to check when heal range
- Once out of Meadow, run south, do not renew Repel
- Rising Star Joshua: Water Gun + Aqua Jet Growlithe
	> Should evolve into Brionne after this fight
- Once on Route 1, Repel [8] (don't renew Repel) at grass and run to village
- Hala: X Speed, X Sp.Att x2, Disarming Voice Mankey, X Sp.Att, Disarming Voice Makuhita, Disarming Voice Crabrawler
	> Replace all Disarming Voices with Water Gun if in Torrent
- Once fight is over, register Tauros and run to the right through Route 1
- Take middle path at fork after first patch of grass
- Take gated path, use a Repel [7] (don't renew Repel)
- Run to the pier to activate a cutscene [piss break]

HEAHEA CITY ~ ISLAND 2
- Mash through cutscenes
- After cutscene with Lillie, go directly below and talk to woman for a Rare Candy
- Run right and up, activate cutscene and fight Sina
- Pokemon Trainer Sina: Echoed Voice x2-3 Delibird, Echoed Voice x2 Glaceon
- Run to the right to enter Route 4

ROUTE 4/PANIOLA TOWN/PANIOLA RANCH
- Use Repel [6] at grass (don't renew), head up and around, dodging trainers along the way
- Blitz the cook
- Free heal
- Hau 4: Echoed Voice x2 Pikachu, heal if under 20 HP?, Water Gun + Aqua Jet Torracat
- Free heal
- Run up towards Paniola Ranch, hugging the left side
- After farm cutscene, use a Repel [5] (don't renew Repel), hug right side while going down, then left
- Once past Day Care, grab the Amulet Coin behind the truck and dodge the spinner

ROUTE 5/BROOKLET HILL
- Go back left at the fork and activate the cutscene
- Gladion 1: X Sp.Att, Echoed Voice x2 Zubat, Echoed Voice x2 (+ Aqua Jet) Type: Null
- Take the left path, dodging the trainers
- Use Repel [4], heal to full
- Run from the event Wishiwashis
- Renew Repel [3]
- At second pond, after examining the whirlpool, go to the bottom right corner and pick up the Scald TM
- Don't hug the bottom edge after Scald to avoid the fisherman
- Renew Repel [2] when out
- Totem Wishiwashi: X Sp.Att, Echoed Voice Totem, Echoed Voice help, Echoed Voice Totem
	> Keep note on whether you fought Alomomola or not
- When prompted, say yes to be taken back to the Center
- Go back into Brooklet Hill and Surf to the Rare Candy, then exit again
- Teach Scald and equip the Waterium Z
- Run back down to Route 4
- Don't renew Repel

ROUTE 4/ROUTE 6
- Dodge old man by going right this time
- Pokemon Breeder Amanda: Scald Lillipup, Scald Growlithe
- Once on Route 6, hug left then hug right after Super Potion pokeball to avoid the spinner
- Skull Grunt: Scald x1-2 Drowzee
	> Dies to Torrent Scald
- After fight, smash through the rocks to the lower left for a Rare Candy, hug left then enter whatever town to the right

ROYAL AVENUE/ROUTE 7/WELA VOLCANO
- Go to the Battle Royale Dome
- Battle Royale: Scald Torracat
- After the Battle Royale, go below and to the right, pick up hidden Rare Candy on tarp
- Head northeast to Route 7
- Head left towards Wela Volcano Park
- Use a Repel [1] (don't renew), ascend to the Totem challenge
- Select middle option, Scald Marowak
- Select hiker, Scald (+ Aqua Jet) Magmar
- Select any option, Hydro Vortex + Aqua Jet Salazzle, Aqua Jet help
	> Salazzle is a range with Hydro Vortex
	> Keep note if you fought Salandit or not
- After fight, register Charizard and Fly to Route 7 (mash A)
- Head up and enter Route 8

ROUTE 8
- After Colress cutscene, use a Repel [0] and do not renew it
- Hug bottom wall until walker passed, then avoid trainers by hugging upper grass
- Grab Hyper Potion if 0-2 Super Potions left
- Unsure of best way to dodge Scientist
- Grab hidden Iron on rock before Center
- Run into the Center, withdraw Pikipek and shop
	> Sell all forms of Pokeballs, 1 Dire Hit, 1 Amulet Coin, 1 Silk Scarf, 6 Revives and 1 Iron
	> Buy 24 Super Repels
	> Buy 8 X Defenses and 9 X Sp.Att from right
- Head south to the Lush Jungle

LUSH JUNGLE
- Level ups from here are determined from the following:
	> If Alomomola fought, Rare Candy x5 once level 25 (should need no extra experience)
	> If Salandit fought, Rare Candy x5 once level 25 (fight one extra Fomantis north of area entrance)
	> If none of the above, Rare Candy x5 once level 24 (save Shiinotic for last)
- After the cutscene, go to the left and pick the Tinymushroom
- Shiinotic: X Sp.Att x2, Hydro Vortex
	> Use Awakening if needed, but only after set up
- Go left to the next area and talk to the tree for the Mago Berry
- Fomantis: Scald x2
- Go back to main area, then up to next area.  Go to bottom left patch of grass for Revival Herb
- Fomantis: Scald x2
- Go back to main area, then head right to next area.  Break rock near end and pick up Miracle Seed
- Save before Lurantis
- Totem Lurantis: Switch to Pikipek, die, X Def x2, healing as necessary, Scald Trumbeak, X Sp.Att x1-2, Hydro Vortex Lurantis
	> Can skip one X Sp.Att if in Torrent
- Once fight is done, Fly to Heahea City (bottom of map)

HEAHEA CITY/DIGLETT TUNNEL
- Go to the lab.  After cutscene, talk to Lillie then leave
- Head south to Diglett Tunnel
- Use a Super Repel and renew it constantly for the rest of the run
	> Heal if at least 3 healing items left, otherwise do Skull Double differently
- Head right at the fork
- Skull Double: Scald Salandit, Disarming Voice Fomantis
	> If low health, Hydro Vortex Fomantis, Aqua Jet Salandit
- Free heal
- Don't remount Tauros, exit Diglett Tunnel

ROUTE 9/AKALA OUTSKIRTS
- Hug the left and walk behind the Police Officer
- Head into the village and activate the Probopass cutscene
- Talk to Hiker next to Center
	> Buy 4 Heal Powders and 6 Energy Roots
- Head back to Route 9 and go through graveyard
- Activate Team Skull cutscene
- Skull Grunt: Scald x1-2 Raticate
	> Killed in Torrent, unsure of calc
- Heal if below 50 HP?
- Hug right to avoid the Blackbelt
- Plumeria: Hydro Vortex Golbat, Scald Salandit
	> Aqua Jet Salandit if in Torrent
	> Check if 40 or lower Speed in this fight
- Free heal

AETHER CORPORATION
- Make way to elevator
- After a bunch of cutscenes, do one of the following:
	> If Candied to 30 earlier, proceed as normal
	> If Candied to 29 earlier, take the elevator back down and grab the Aether Candy early
- ???: Try to run?
	> Scald x2 if fighting
- More cutscenes [piss break at boat cutscene]

MALIE CITY ~ ISLAND 3
- Free heal
- Hau 5: Hydro Vortex Raichu, lose fight
	> Try to get Raichu experience (1,265)?
- Free heal
- Go to the Malie Garden, mash through cutsecne
- Hug left side to avoid walker, make way to middle of map for cutscene
- Head to the library, go through cutscenes, go upstairs, cutscenes, leave the library and head southwest to Route 10

ROUTE 10/MOUNT HOKULANI
- Go behind first trainer, then hug bottom/left, avoiding Beauty
	> Would Beauty compensate for Raichu experience? 547 experience
- Ace Trainer sprite is not a trainer here
- Make your way northwest to bus stop sign
- Skull Grunt: Hydro Vortex Golbat
- Skull Grunt: Hydro Vortex Raticate
- Use bus stop to climb up Mount Hokulani
- IF CANDIED FROM 24, GRAB CANDY SOUTH OF HERE
	> Don't blitz with Tauros to avoid the stretching spinner
- Talk to Molayne (free heal)
- Molayne: Scald, X Sp.Att, Scald Skarmory, Scald x2 Metang, Scald Dugtrio

- After cutscene with Grimsley, use Sharpedo and hug left sides to avoid trainers
- Center if Pikipek was sacked in Plumeria fight
- Enter Ula'ula Meadow and go straight through to Route 17
- Go straight up and fight the Skull Grunt (faster than using a Repel and running in grass/hopping ledges)
- Skull Grunt: Scald Salandit
- Head northwest, hugging right side of wall to avoid walker, and talk to double Grunts
- Grunt Double: X Sp.Att Sparkling Aria
	> On Pikipek's turn, use the X Sp.Att on Primarina
- Enter Po Town

PO TOWN/SHOPPING/ROUTE 15
- After cutscene, go left and crawl through
- Skull Grunt: Scald Spinarak

- After fights, go right and crawl past the double battle for a Rare Candy
- After candy and crawling through the left, hug the right side of the truck
- After truck, hug the left side until in the mansion
- Head back through and to the left and run to the mansion at the top of the map
- Head upstairs, avoid spinner, take quiz
	> 3, 2, 1, No
- Exit and re-enter the mansion, grabbing the Escape Rope on the way, then mash through cutscene
- Guzma: X Sp.Att, Oceanic Operetta Golisopod, Sparkling Aria Ariados
- After cutscene, use Escape Rope, go through another cutscene, receive a free heal
- Fly to Route 8 (Akala Island) and use the Mart

- DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO THE ELEVATOR YET
	> Pick up Candy at the top of the map, use 3 Candies IMMEDIATELY to get to level 43
- Go up elevator and fight Faba
- Faba: Oceanic Operetta Hypno
	> Can outspeed on insane speed
- Take elevator again, go to the right

- Work your way north until you get to Poni Wilds
- Use Repel [7] (don't renew), head right at the fork and hug the right side
- Enjoy your cutscenes
- Register Machamp, do Strength puzzle, use an Escape Rope
- After ruins, Fly back to Seafolk Village, head to southern most dock and go to Exeggutor Island
- Run from Exeggutor
- Go north throughout the island until you get the Moon Flute
- Go north and east, using a Repel [6] (don't renew) and hugging the right side
- Once back at the ruins, begin cutscene with Lillie and Skull Grunts
- Skull Grunt: Moonblast Fomantis
- Skull Grunt: X Speed, Sparkling Aria Salandit, Psychic Mareanie, Psychic Golbat, Moonblast Raticate, Psychic Haunter

- Head left and up
