  1. I believe that well-regulated hunting, including the kind that is often referred to as "trophy hunting" or "safari hunting" is a vital conservation tool.
  2.
  3. The reason for this is that it not only delivers hefty fees that go directly to anti-poaching and land maintenance, but the value of these animals means that people are more inclined to look out for them by setting aside land for them and working harder to protect against poachers.
  4.
  5. I thus put together a list of sources that one can look through so as to learn about the benefits of the hunter-conservation model.
  6.
  7. It comes in two sections: A non-academic list including journal articles and YouTube videos for those who don't have the time or patience to read a journal and an academic source list for those who want the real meat of why hunting is such a vital conservation tool.
  8.
  9. I tried to pick open-source ones but if any are behind a paywall, just put the link of the journal in sci-hub.tw and you should be good.
