Double Serving of Alfredo Al Dente

The rally was going well so far. Dozens of Faunus from all over the kingdom were in attendance. Their cheers echoed in the otherwise empty warehouse in the abandoned side of town. Adam glanced over the group as the patriotic words flowed from his mouth. But it seemed with each syllable that he was losing them.
Slowly, the crowd started to lose interest, and he could see it. When the first few started to turn and walk out, he fumbled his words before stopping his speech to go.. Off script.
"If you turn your back on us, then you will be marked as a traitor and treated just like a human when we're in charge."
Yea, that'll show 'em.
The ones that were on their way out only laughed, and more so joined them in their exit.
Oh no, not again.


The sun shone down on Adam as he tended to his garden. His rough hands worked the soil well, and his gentle touch nurtured each young sprout as he transplanted them from his window-garden. He wiped the sweat from his brow and smiled at his hard work. Soon, he'll be able to harvest all sorts of vegetables from his small crop.
The doorbell rang, and broke the Faunus from his trance. He got up and cut through his modest home to answer the door. He turned the handle and opened the door to see Banesaw, Perry, and a few other grunts and gruntettes.
"You guys made it! Come in, come in! Can I get you guys anything to drink? I just put a fresh pot of tea on earlier!"
Ding!
"Oh! Those must be the scones. Make yourselves at home, I'll be right with you!"
