  1. Heyo!
  2.
  3. I'm Anish, the driver for team 1458, and I'm annoying you on 1458's behalf regarding alliance selection.
  4.
  5. First, let me shill for our bot. We're proficiant at the switch and vault. Scale isn't perfect for us, I'll admit, but it's functional. Our climbing mechanism is pretty solid, but today we ceded to our alliance members and gave them a shot, which neglected us many opportunities to display this ability. Ramps are awesome! You can expect 7-8 cubes in the vault in under a minute and a half, and an endgame climb. Just ask your scouts!
  6.
  7. Unfortunately, today wasn't our hottest day. As I'm sure your scouts can tell you, the existance of our alliance partners' mechanisms was frequently... questionable ;)
  8. Our control system got megaborked, but we've fixed that. Don't worry, we're not going to die in a match or catch on fire. Well, no promises towards the second.
  9.
  10. Two of our matches were lost by a total of three points, which is a lot of fun, but I'm sure you have the experience not to listen to rankings much anyways
  11.
  12. Our code's pretty... gucci. Closed loop control for drivetrain gives us incredibly consistant driving (we once lost a chain and didn't notice for hours --- the robot just compensated), and our neural network based robot detection and avoidance system helps us automatically avoid opposing robots when going for objectives. I'm contractually obliged to give a shoutout to team 2898 for that one! We're of no shortage of programmers, so if you have any robot features you want, from a simple auto for your other pick or better closed loop control for your mechanisms, we can do it, no matter if it's Java, C++, Kotlin, Python, or LabVIEW.
  13.
  14. Besides the robot and programming ability, though, we're sitting onto some pretty damn detailed scouting data from all matches, as well as pit scouting for each team, a total of over three hundred verbose reports. We've done a lot of work into advanced statistical analysis, and can help determine opponents' strengths and weaknesses, as well as the optimal strategy to employ against them, all of which more important this year than ever before, as I'm sure you know.
  15.
  16. I'm sorry to bother you about this! But please do let me know if you have any questions about our robot, strategic ability, programming, secret plans to overthrow third world nations, etc. Now go get some sleep, big day tomorrow :P
  17.
  18. Hope to be hearing from you tomorrow!
  19.
  20. Thanks,
  21. Anish
