  1. Name: Mandy Monopoly
  2. Gender: Male
  3. Race: Earth Pony
  4. Class: Rogue
  5. Age: 54
  6. Hits/Wounds: 6/6
  8. Skills:
  9. -Earth Pony Way: Being born without a horn or wings has taught you how to spend more time and effort in the things you do. You can pick one skill and gain a +1 bonus. This does not include non-skill actions like melee attacks or recovering from helplessness. (Blind)
  10. -Tough: passive; Earth ponies take 1 additional hit before becoming helpless as well as 1 extra wound once they become helpless, for a total of 6 hits and 6 wounds without other modifiers. They can also lift, carry and move heavier objects than unicorns and pegasi.
  11. -Sleight of Hand: recharge 1; perform a minor trick with your hands. Whatever it is about hiding cards up your sleeve or picking keys of unsuspecting guards, nobody will realize what you are doing, as long as you do it right.
  12. -Blind: recharge 1 after effect ends; temporarily blinds an enemy, giving a +2 bonus to all rolls targeting it for 2 turns
  13. -Master Thief: Passive; Thanks to years of training, picking locks, cracking safes, locating hidden loot, finding traps and smuggling items is a lot easier for you than an untrained novice. Every once in a while you can roll to see if your instincts might offer a hint about something important nearby.
  16. Talent: Dashing Rogue (A monocle for a CM, +1 to all Rogue skills)
  17. Inventory:
  18. A bandolier of grenades (sticky, ion, flare, detpacks, etc.)
  19. Heavy Cryrepeater
  21. Appearance:
  22. -Lean, but not out-right skinny earth pony. Mane and tail are neatly trimmed brown, with an orange coat. Also bares a very Victorian-styled long mustache to match with his jet black top-hat and coat. Carries a golden monocle on his eye and a pocket watch in his pocket, along with a long black cane with silver furnishings under his hoof at all times (his main weapon). As a hobby lasting from youth till middle-age, he has practiced in a popular classical martial art known as Bartitsu, a sort of boxing and cane focused defense of suave and proper movement to counter and knock the lights out of any assailant in a gentlemanly and dignified fashion.
  24. Due to a point blank blast from a superlaser, Mandy's scalding armor and melted gear caused numerous burns and scars to riddle his body and burn his hair into ashes. A three hour Healing chamber treatment removed most of the burns, but his orange coat is tattered and spotted with black marks. Worst of all, his tail and mane were burnt down to a gray and ragged mess, his glorious mustache now missing its right half entirely, a small twinge of black hair all that remaining of his proud whiskers on that side.
  26. Background:
  27. Born to an absurdly wealthy clan on the planet of Fairest, Mandy has lived his long, luxurious life enjoying almost every possible comfort that bits could buy. But all the toys, games, and fancy hats could not distract his attention from the suffering of Fairest's less fortunate citizens. Though his sheltered upbringing has left him a little unfamiliar with the normal needs of the common folk, he has never stopped doing his best to share his riches with the peasant-folk. Whether it's giving the finest silks to the starving or exotic delicacies to the cold, Mandy's lived his life with a simple motto: "I'm dedicated to helping those less fortunate than myself... and that's EVERYONE!"
  29. After decades of selfless, careless donations, Mandy and his family (consisting of his significant other and three spoiled rotten daughters) came to be both beloved and loathed (beloathed?) by the populous, but whether the goal to help others was met or not, Mandy Monopoly had at least earned a reputation as among the most generous stallions on Fairest. However, there came one day when his capacity to give was proven inadequate: His daughters and him had taken the scenic route through a dark abandoned alleyway (the grittiness had an appeal to Mandy that few ever understood) when they were confronted with a desperate, and deranged, mugger. Mandy began with his usual custom of boundless offerings of both useful and worthless gifts, but when the stallion turned violent his physical ability was not enough to stop him from taking a shot with a crypistol at one of his children. It was here that, in a hopeless moment, that Mandy prepared to make give the most generous sacrifice he could offer to protect his blood.
  31. And in that moment, the Beacon lit, recognizing Mandy for his overly-idealistic and naive, but ultimately pure heart of charity. He arose as a Knight, and with his new-found strength, subdued the assailant. It was latter when he would receive his summons to join the knighthood, as he prepares to live the Monopoly clan and Fairest behind so that he can spread his gifts throughout the galaxy.
