- The Thing: An assembly to mete out justice or administrate possessions to any individual with the claim of ownership most accepted. Here political decisions are made, laws upheld and disputes settled.
- Holmgang: A duel; trial by combat of sorts. Can be called for when insults have been thrown, assaults on another's property or family, or when settling something in a Thing. The victor is decided by the gods to be in the right, and their decision is respected. To go against the results of a Holmgang is considered disgraceful and in poor taste.
- Outlawry: The rights and protection of the Laws are removed from an outlawed individual. If permanent outlawry is enforced the offending party will be branded with a rune on their hand or face to let all know that they've been cast out.
