  1. [03:10] "I don't get you, dude. You couldn't leave it at, 'Pha! I have no valuables!'" she exclaims, waving a hand in Kalameet's direction. "You gotta say you'd cut down my vines. I'm not good at fighting, but I ain't bad either," she continued.
  2.
  3. An eruption of vines emerge from the ground beneath Kalameet's feet, poised to strike. It's clear that the nature magi didn't plan on letting him leave without running his pockets.
  4.
  5. "Wouldn't hurt to let us have a look and decide for ourselves what's valuable, yanno? The old saying goes: one man's trash is another man's treasure, n' you lookin' like a whole chest right now."
  6.
  7. SNAP!
  8. The vines crack in the direction of Kalameet, seeking to inflict some nasty welts upon his legs -- now, would he get away? Would he fight? Time would tell.
  9. (Sybil Arderne)
  10. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  11.
  12. [03:13] The man would walk through his old home. Askhaiem was no more. It actually brought a tear to his face. Though he would not be sadden. The man would need to stay upright and his mind strong. Though he see people on the territory.
  13.
  14. "Hmm what are you people doing here?"
  15.
  16. The Vanirhallan would say.
  17.
  18. He take his gun out and they would see it was aimed and ready. "Now I don't know any of you. But you seem to robbing this young man. So I give yah a bloody choice. Walk away or blast yah down. And trust meh. My companions went to the cave before this. There is a lot more of us."
  19.
  20. He would say with a smirk. His gun loaded up now.
  21.
  22. "Your move."
  23. (Gastan Varhar)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [03:19] Jebidiah would be walking through the area when he noticed the robbery in place. He'd sigh and hesitate for a moment, for a moment almost grabbing his holstered pistol but instead going for his basic mana rifle. He'd walk forward to intervene, though felt he could do little.
  27.
  28. However then the other man with the better looking gun caught his eye and he'd raise his eyebrows in response, looking to the thieves with his gun raised though now no longer on guard as he went to speak. "I'd listen to the guy with the fancy looking gun." He'd say with a nod. He'd then lift his rifle.
  29.
  30. "If that's not compelling however, this old fashioned Manarifle being thrown into the mix and telling you to walk away as well, well, that might be." He'd remark in a dry tone of voice.
  31. (Jebidiah Lawson)
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. [03:19] Raki keeps his eyes upon the boy that claims that he has nothing valuable on him. It was a shame, really, but he doesn't feel too bad about it. He's already gotten a pretty good haul, and anything else was considered a bonus. He blinks when a new arrival shows up from literally nowhere, and manages to grasp the situation nearly instantly.
  35.
  36. Raki claps.
  37.
  38. "Not bad, not bad. Actually, you're just in time," he says, suddenly drawing his dagger from his sheath. It's held out before him, and there's a primal look in Raki's eyes as he smirks.
  39.
  40. "Forget his stuff. You look strong, so fight me," he says, simply. Raki never ran from anyone, and he damn sure wasn't about to start here today. He prepares himself for the inevitable battle.
  41.
  42. He was either foolish, or hopelessly brave. He wonders what magic they might bring to the table?
  43. (Raki Ozliti)
  44. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  45.
  46. [03:20] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  47. [03:29] There's two new faces that cut her attack short. The vines lash out and hit a patch of grass dangerously close to Kalameet's feet. No harm done. Now, Sybil's full attention is on the two in the back. Guns, mana rifles. Things that looked all very expensive. It caught her eye, but was it worth it? It was definitely a losing battle for her, she almost reconsidered until she saw Raki boldly step forward. It spurred something on.
  48.
  49. If she didn't fight, how was she going to become stronger? How was she ever going to get what she wanted in life if she didn't try? A scowl plasters the teenager's face while the vines around her wriggle and worm, shifting away from her initial target.
  50.
  51. "Strong? Who cares about that, dude? You see what they got? That's way better than some robes, a sword n' a hood," she voices aloud. It's not like she had anything left to hide from themat this point, they already knew the duo's game.
  52.
  53. She steps up to the challenged.
  54.
  55. "Let's get it!"
  56. (Sybil Arderne)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [03:30] Gastan Varhar says, "Oi lad with the mana rifle"
  60. [03:30] Jebidiah Lawson asks, "Yes?"
  61. [03:30] Gastan Varhar asks, "How strong are yah?"
  62. [03:31] Gastan Varhar says, "Get redy"
  63. [03:31] Jebidiah laughs.
  64. (Jebidiah Lawson)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [03:36] Raki immediately bolts forward with widened eyes, blade held at the ready as he bursts forth in Jebidiah's direction not unlike the wind. The man would be assaulted with various blows, cuts intending to down him rather swiftly. He put up an alright fight, but now it was time for the serious battle to begin.
  68.
  69. His attention is now focused upon Gastan, the sturdier of the two. He manages to get in a few good hits, but they didn't seem to matter too much as he finds himself overwhelmed with fire magic. The Ookami goes tumbling backwards, eventually rising to his feet.
  70.
  71. "T'ch.. strong." he mutters, preparing himself for a second bout. He looks over at Sybil mainly to see her own condition. He figures she was even worse off than him.
  72.
  73. "C'mon, on your feet. We've got a fight to win," he says to her.
  74. (Raki Ozliti)
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  76.
  77. [03:37] The man would chuckle.
  78.
  79. "Not bad. You actually tickle meh. Now lasses and lad. I don't like being one to play around. But if yah don't give up yah might get hurt. And trust me lad."
  80.
  81. They would see a glare.
  82.
  83. "I hurt a lot of people..."
  84.
  85. He would then look the girl up and down. "Hmmm....you two. Take the lad. I'm getting her." He would say loading his gun.
  86. (Gastan Varhar)
  87. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  88.
  89. [03:38] Rising to his feet after being downed, Jebidiah would grab his rifle in hand and take aim at Raki after wiping some dirt and blood off of his chin. "Little punk..." He'd mutter as he prepared for the next round of the engagement.
  90.
  91. Once the fight began he'd open fire, doing his best to land a shot on the kid.
  92. (Jebidiah Lawson)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [03:38] Raki Ozliti asks, "What man became famous for giving up?"
  96. [03:39] Gastan Varhar says, "No worries lad."
  97. [03:39] Gastan Varhar says, "You be useful."
  98. [03:40] The boy started to dance around with his sword, it was a fighting style based on reflex, his training surged the necessary effect he was Strong enough to overwhelm the girl with quick and powerful attacks, quickly enough he would put his blade in her throat, one slash his way and all over, but where was the fun in that? So he just slammed her legs with the sword making the girl spin in the air and faceplant in the ground.
  99.
  100. "That looks fits like a glove in you... Stay down there..."
  101.
  102. Then he hears Gastan ask to get the girl, well, he wasn't really asking to fight Raki, but nothing to be done there. it would be a 1v1 fight anyway. Jebidiah had potential, but it had yet to be unlocked.
  103.
  104. "Welcome... Raki Ozliti... Let us dance."
  105.
  106. He started dancing again as he prepared for the next fight.
  107. (Kalameet)
  108. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  109.
  110. [03:42] It's hectic.
  111. Sybil talked big game, but in actual fights, she could barely hold her own. It helped that she had Raki on her side to take some of the heat -- the actual heat, considering there was a fire magi among the enemy team. The nature magi couldn't help but get burned here and there, among other various damage her poor frame absorbed. If not for the power of nature itself, it's likely she wouldn't have even been able to stay on her own two feet.
  112.
  113. A particularly harsh torrent of water knocks her right off her feet and sends her tumbling across the terrain in a brutal display. Sybil clenches her teeth and hisses, slamming one of her hands into the grass below. Her stare finds Raki and, briefly, he'd note the fear hidden in those golden eyes of her. It wasn't going well for them and, while Raki didn't hurt her when they battled -- the same likely couldn't be said about those before them.
  114.
  115. But she couldn't give up.
  116. She struggles to a stand and her scowl finds Gastan who apparently had decided to target her.
  117.
  118. "Ooo, look at you, tough guy. Think you're good enough to handle me? You got another thing comin'," she spat.
  119. Fiesty, even if she might not have the strength to back it up. Sybil readies herself for round two!
  120. (Sybil Arderne)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [03:42] Gastan Varhar says, "Oh lass im gonna do alot to yah"
  124. [03:49] The man would chuckle. So she wondered could he handle her? The man would chuckle. He would look at the two. Both of them would then be hit hard with a fire rush. Sending both of them flying back.
  125.
  126. "Take him down."
  127.
  128. He would say to the two others.
  129.
  130. The man would then walk over to the girl. She tried to fight. He lick his lips. But as she tried to run from him he see Kalmeet hit her back. Her ribs seem to take a hard blow.
  131.
  132. But as she would be in pain she find Gastan slamming his fist hard into the area to knock her out. Picking her up in his arms.
  133.
  134. The man would then watch the two others work. Kalmeet taking down Raki.
  135.
  136. "Good work. Don't kill him. Also we wont actually be killing these two. No. They good for soldiers. I like their attitude." He would say with the girl over his shoulder.
  137.
  138. "Gun man whats your name? I tell Stella to make you a member. Kalmeet you did well. I make sure she knows of yourwork."
  139. (Gastan Varhar)
  140. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  141.
  142. [03:51] Jebidiah would look to Gastan and go to speak. "The name is Jebidiah Lawson." He would explain with a stern nod. "Nice to make your acquaintance, fancy gun you got there." He'd remark as he put his gun away.
  143.
  144. "A member of what?" He'd ask. "Also go easy on those two, thieves yes but they are still kids, ain't no reason to be rough on 'em. Just gotta set them straight." Jebidiah would fold his arms and nod one more time.
  145. (Jebidiah Lawson)
  146. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  147.
  148. [03:57] The boy started to fight taking the advantage of the girl's lack of attention in him to injure her before going back to Raki and his dagger, they would have a very fast fight, a dagger was faster than most swords, but a rapier was the second best even for such a lengthy sword. They faced each other for a little bit, but in a dance precision and pacing is key, so the first mistep Raki did ended in his demise.
  149.
  150. "Let me show you how I pay thiefs."
  151.
  152. He grabs Raki's waist as if he was a lady and do that move where he almost lets go of the partner, but then he pulls the man back, tripping him to fall, and once he tried to get up, turning to see where Kalameet was he would feel the sword almost cutting his throat right open, but Kalameet didn't do it, he would rather just scare Raki, while poiting his sword at him.
  153.
  154. "We could have been friends."
  155. (Kalameet)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [04:06] Lots of bark, little bite.
  159. Her control over nature was mediocre at best, her real strength relying in calling upon the healing touch of the forest. Some of her lighter wounds instantly washed away, but others remained -- it wasn't enough to stop what was coming next, either. The nature magi finds herself blindsided by a mixture of searing flames and raging torrents, her fragile frame flung across the battlefield like she was a ragdoll.
  160.
  161. When she thought it was over, a fist finds her face and the teenager goes flying skywards. There's a moment where her life flashes before her eyes right before she found Kalameet's foot slamming into her ribcage. Upon impact with the ground, they're practically shattered on the spot. A yelp of pain escapes the thief and her eyes widen in horror as pain surges throughout her entire body. A hiss escapes her and she grits her teeth, doing her absolute best not to allow herself to cry.
  162.
  163. She didn't want to give them the satisfaction. There's just enough time for her to turn her head and get a glimpse of Raki who looked like he was about to get his throat slit. Lips part to try to say something, but alas, it's too late. A punch to her head steals her consciousness and she's out like a light.
  164.
  165. At least she wouldn't have to feel the pain that wracked her body if she wasn't awake.
  166. (Sybil Arderne)
  167. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  168.
  169. [04:06] Fighting three opponents at once is obviously challenging.
  170.
  171. Combine that with a partner that's not yet on your level and you've got a recipe for disaster. Still though, it wasn't exactly about winning. No.. Raki knew that his fate had been sealed the moment two others walked up, outnumbering them.
  172.
  173. Sybil had guts, and if she wasn't so annoying, he might even call her cute. What she didn't have... was the strength to keep herself afloat. Still, when it came down to the fight there wasn't much synergy to their actions. They fought as separate unit as opposed to fighting as one, another detriment to their teamwork.
  174.
  175. All eyes were on him once she went down, and he really receives the brunt of every attack as he's unable to follow all of them at the same time. It's no excuse... for he's sure that he could easily take Kalameet and Jebidiah in a one on one. Hell.. he could probably even take BOTH of them, but that was upfor speculation.
  176.
  177. As he's downed, the tip of the sword is pointed at his neck, but he hardly shows any emotion. He looked ready to die right there honestly as he turns to spit blood into the grass.
  178.
  179. "Friends...? You're too weak to be my friend," he states, simply.
  180. (Raki Ozliti)
  181. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  182.
  183. [04:09] Kalameet says, "Hum... Maybe so... For you guys it is always about strength... "
  184. [04:11] Kalameet asks, "Gastan, right? Always nice to meet folk like you around here. So... Where do we take these... thieves?"
  185. [04:13] The man would then look to them.
  186.
  187. "Jebidah huh? I like yah lad. We gonna get along bloody fine. Also she is a fuckin beauty." The man would nod his head. "I don't kill fuckin good people. They got fuckin potential. They be useful."
  188.
  189. The man would then look to Kalmeet.
  190.
  191. "Lets head back to the city." He would know with both of them hurt or koed they would not do much."
  192.
  193. Gastan of course...was taking the girl for his own selfish reasons.
  194.
  195. "Lets bloody go."
  196. (Gastan Varhar)
