Mr. Cloudy

>you just got yourself your first fluffy pony
>a pegasus pony
>her wings and body are too fluffy to allow flight, but she can glide down from tall objects
>she wants to be the fastest flyer ever when she grows up
>she runs around the house and pretends she’s racing you
>she doodles pictures of the sky in crayon and puts them all over the walls of her room
>sometimes, the two of you drive down to the public park
>you put her in the swings
>you push her as high and as fast as you can
>she pretends to be an airplane
>when she’s done, she’ll wait till the high point of the swing and jump off, gliding to the ground
>one day she asks you to let her take off from a tall building
>she wants to fly for real now, like all the other regular pegasus ponies
>they make fun of her because she cant fly for real
>some days when you pick her up from pony care, she crying
>you take her home and hold her while you brush her fluff and tell her she can do anything she puts her heart to
>she buries her head in your chest and cries a little more, before going silent and falling asleep
>she’s been taking more risks lately
>you caught her once trying to jump off the house
>you reprimanded her, maybe a little too sternly
>she went to room and cried for a while in her airplane shaped bed
>you decide to do something
>you call a friend who does crafts and plushies
>he makes you a memory foam cloud
>it’s covered in a soft, white fabric
>you give it to fluffy pony. You tell her you went up into the sky and got it for her
>she gives it a hug and says you’re the best
>she never goes anywhere without her cloud - or as she calls it, Mr. Cloudy - these days
>she doesnt want to fly as much anymore
>when she does, you pick her up over your head and run around while she laughs hysterically
