  1. The leaves are starting to turn, some already have turned that crisp brown while others have fallen. Not much has happened to warrant an entry, though I feel writing would be good. With the colder months approaching we’ve stored the auto I’ve known for some time with a more ‘cold weather friendly’ version, there are actually two of these both in the same polished silver color. Unlike the summer auto which has a top for the driver that folds the cold weather ones share one big “hard top” if I’m remember the term Curtis told me, the driver’s cabin separated by a divider in which the last quarter of it is a giant roll down window. Since visiting my parent’s farm I’ve done my best to get acquainted with the autos Miyabi owns, to make sure I understand how each one takes turns and how long it takes to stop.
  2.
  3. Outside of it, the most eventful thing that happened since that visit was James and Emily stopping by yesterday. I had grown a tad restless that day and after talking to Carmen, I joined Nadia and some other maids in cleaning the estate grounds of fallen leaves and branches. We had gotten halfway through the front yard when the James’ truck pulled up, a large box in the back.
  4.
  5. “Heya Anon,” James said stepping out of the truck, the auto bouncing slightly as he stepped out.
  6.
  7. “What brings you two here?” I said, walking up with a rake slung over my shoulder.
  8.
  9. Emily bounced over to me giving me her typical greeting, “Hiya Anon, we brought you guys a gift.”
  10.
  11. “Yeah, hope you like venison.” James said flipping the back of the truck down, “you wanna help me with this Anon?”
  12.
  13. “Alright,” I said looking around, “just let me store this somewhere.”
  14.
  15. After just leaving the rake on the ground, James and I carried the box inside while Emily walked in front of us. During our hauling we were approached by the maids, most of whom tried to offer taking the package only for James and myself to reassure them we had everything under control. Entering the kitchen earned us some more stares as the maids watched the two men and yeti bring a box filled with meats in, setting it down with a loud thud on the kitchen’s island.
  16.
  17. “So what exactly is in the box?” I asked
  18.
  19. “Some flank steaks, I think a roast or two,” James said rolling his shoulders, “also I think there are some ribs in there and MAYBE a loin cut.”
  20.
  21. “James put in almost half the deer,” Emily chimed in. “Say Anon where is Miyabi? I want to see if she’ll come up to our lodge this winter with you.”
  22.
  23. I paused, trying to think where she might be. “Try the second floor west wing, door right after my old room, she seems to conduct business in there.”
  24.
  25. Emily waved one of her big fluff covered hands at me in thanks before she left to look for Miyabi, leaving James and I in the kitchen with the maids.
  26.
  27. James tapped the side of the box, drawing my attention. “Anon, where should we stow this?” He asked.
  28.
  29. “I have no clue,” I said looking around the room. “Anyone know where we store meats?”
  30.
  31. “We have the meat locker,” said one of the maids pointing to a large metal door at the far end of the kitchen.
  32.
  33. Making a note to add the meat locker’s location to my map of the estate for later, likely after this journal entry, we hefted the box back up and made our way over to it. At first I expected a small closet sized place to keep meats, however the locker was the size of a small room and rather cold as one would expect from a place where meat was placed.Wanting to get out quick we left the box of venison on the floor, scrambling out of the locker and closing the door to it behind us.
  34.
  35. James and I left the kitchen and went to find the girls, ducking into the parlor to see if they were there with no such luck. Our next likely stop was Miyabi’s personal study, this time our entry yielding results. The two girls sat on opposite sides of a large oak desk that had lots of paper stack on it, some ledgers lay on the desk either closed with papers sticking out of them or open. The walls were lined with bookshelves, that when I inspected them turned out to be filled with ledgers and order forms.
  36.
  37. “Miyabi look it’s Anon! Hey Anon come here and give your wife a backrub.” Emily said as she waved me over to Miyabi’s side.
  38.
  39. “I’m fine Emily, really…” Miaybi’s words were hard to make out as her head was buried in her crossed arms on the desk.
  40.
  41. “Whats wrong?” I asked as I placed my hand upon Miyabi’s shoulder.
  42.
  43. Miyabi said nothing, just muttering that was hard to discern from how her head was buried. Emily leaned in, offering a suggestion in between giggles.
  44.
  45. “Try it,” Emil said, guiding my hands to Miyabi’s rounded fluffy ears. “Oh, before you do. Anon we’ll see you two around the first week of December. Come on James.”
  46.
  47. “Alright...See ya in a few months you two,” James said as Emily escorted him away.
  48. With the dull thump of the door closing behind them, Miyabi and myself were the only two left in the room. My hands rested on Miyabi’s shoulders as she laid slumped over.
  49.
  50. “What’s the problem dear?” I asked as I began to rub her shoulders. “You’re usually chipper and cheery.”
  51.
  52. Aside from the muffled noises Miyabi made as I began to rub her shoulders, no words came from her. I found myself resorting to Emily’s tactic she showed before leaving. Pinching the tips of Miyabi’s soft ears I began rubbing them, the back and forth motion of my thumbs brushing and rubbing against them.
  53.
  54. “Does that feel good dear?” I asked as I continued to rub her ears. “You must be stressed out to not want to talk.”
  55.
  56. Miyabi’s head perked up a bit, “Mmmmn~ Anon~” her words more like moans.
  57.
  58. With her attention now on me I asked her what was wrong, instead of an answer I got a demand as Miyabi stood up from her large desk chair.
  59.
  60. “Sweetie, sit down in my seat would you?” Miyabi pleaded with me.
  61.
  62. “Alright, but will you tell me what’s going on?” I said following her request.
  63.
  64. Miyabi sat herself down in my lap, her body leaning into mine. “I just got some bad news,” she said.
  65.
  66. “About what?”
  67.
  68. “Rub my ears again and I’ll tell you.”
  69.
  70. Never before had I seen Miyabi act so demanding, but then again I had never seen her in anything but a good mood. Again I appeased my wife, rubbing her ears gently between my two fingers, her body going limp as her breathing increased.
  71.
  72. “I got my daily reports today through the ticker tape.” She sighed out as she tried to constantly readjust herself on my lap. “Something is happening over in Europe that is tying up my trade ships, one of them sunk by accident.”
  73.
  74. “Is that bad?” I asked, my question sincere.
  75.
  76. I felt Miyabi squirm a top me, her legs quickly crossing each other, “AHHHHN~...Yes, mmmm...it’s bad, I get most of my wealth through the transport trade between America and Europe.” She said between ragged breaths. “And...An..OH... ANOOON~.”
  77. I let go of Miyabi’s ears as she seemed to convulse in my lap, worried I held her tightly which at first seemed to not held as she let out another moan. After a few seconds had passed Miyabi shifted her position, straddling me. I will leave out the details for I feel like writing them down would spoil the memory of the intimate moment Miyabi and I had in her office shortly after. I leave it to your imagination journal, but I will say I’m starting to see a benefit to Miyabi’s one piece dresses she likes to wear .
