- Hey guys, I just finished episode 364 and wanted to throw out a plug for the Zabbix monitoring system.
- I've been using Zabbix for about 5-6 years now and absolutely love it. I first used it at my previous job, and after singing its praises to my boss at my new job (a former Nagios shop), we're now 90% finished migrating all of our servers away from Nagios and on to Zabbix.
- We find that Zabbix is a great mix of monitoring and reporting. It's got great notification features as well as rich graphs for combing through historical data.
- It also has a Windows agent, so we can monitor ever server in the company with one tool. We push out Windows agents with Group Policies and Linux agents with Puppet. And on top of all that, it has a very slick web UI to manage it all (no more CGI files!).
- Anyway, there's my plug. Love the show, keep it up guys.
