  2. The quest is alive again!
  3. Turn Suggestions (the ones done will be eliminated from this list, unless they can be repeated, of course)
  4. Feel free to add more suggestions to the pastebin post. I will add them here. If I forget to cancel or add something, or if there is something that you want modified, do feel free to say it.

  6.
  7.
  8.
  9.
  10.
  11. DIRECTOR (ex Courier options)
  12.
  13. - Talk with the Families, your vassals. Something could be done, an idea, a project, who knows what they have in mind. Or just a chat.
  14. - Council Session, hear what our secretaries and governors have to say and how things are going for their departments/governorships. (a more in-depth look than the general review we will receive each turn)
  15. - Make a small feast with your acquaintances and companions. Something for all of you, no work or problems to deal with. A little private celebration. Who knows, maybe you can make it a tradition between... who is left alive in time.
  16. - Pass some time with one or more of your companions (Raul, Ed-E, Lily, Veronica, Rex & Roxie, Arcade, Ulysses)
  17. - Pass some time with one or more of the people in the Mojave you have not seen for a while. A chat, a good meal, and an afternoon shooting. Who knows? Maybe you can relax, take a breath, learn something new, or just keep in touch with old friends and acquaintances
  18. - House has escaped....
  19. - Find the Forecaster, maybe you could recruit the little guy
  20. - Get to know more Monica Yen (possible increase trade with the Shi market with more rewards to follow)
  21. - Visit Goodsprings and talk with Doc Mitchell. He saved your life, and he is old.
  22. - Travel the Mojave for a while, visiting his settlements and helping his people. You are their ruler, their leader, their Director.
  23. - Chat up with Yes Man.
  24. - It's time to talk on the radio waves again, a general speech, an opening of an important place, a great victory. An opportunity for doing it may arise, and Mr. New Vegas will help.
  25. - Visit Big Mt and see what the brains are doing and have to say (Arcade and Dr. Henry are both here)
  26. - Build a countryside house, a great house, or a villa for your enjoyment and life. It's a symbol of power and wealth, and gives you an escape from your duties. It will be, of course, well guarded and defended
  27. - Do you need an heir? Who knows how the Directorate works needs to be decided.
  28. - Learn how to pilot a Vertibird
  29. - Learn how to drive a land vehicle
  30. - Do something with Rex puppies and the Legion Dogs (possible use in Novac Dog Breeding and Dog Racing ? MILITARY section has this idea even for police and military)
  31. - Visit US government facilities, and open them with the presidential codes (see available locations in quest/ Survivalist knows them all)
  32. - The Director ...(insert the Director helping in one of the suggestions under here)
  33.
  34.
  35. MILITARY
  36.
  37. - Talk with Krueger and Patton about future strategy (possible prep to do in case of future wars)
  38. - Improve/Expand the NVPD (Currently, a NVPD policeman has a pistol and uniform. Additional numbers, dogs, armors, more guns, a proper police station, administrative staff, cultivate a police leadership, create an investigative section, create an anti-gang section)
  39. - Create the NVPD SWAT
  40. - Establish police forces for the small settlements (increase security, law, and presence, new jobs). Due to the population growth, it has become necessary to have police forces for our small settlements.
  41. - Build the Jacobstown Rough Terrain Training Facility (use the forest and mountains of Jacobstown for military training)
  42. - Rebuild Searchlight Airport in a military base like McCarran and Camp Rex
  43. - Fortified Ammo&Weapon Depots at Camp McCarran and Camp Rex (self-explanatory)
  44. - Great Walls of NV (new massive defensive fortifications, making Vegas one of the most secure settlements in the wastelands. Very Expensive)
  45. - New Fortifications and Defenses (to build in settlements/important places)
  46. - Rebuild and improve the previous eastern military camps of the NCR on the border with the Legion (will need military units to garrison them)
  47. - Find/Make supplies for military units (self-explanatory)
  48. - Fortified Security Checkpoints (entrances of settlements/important places. Triple purpose of security, defense, and presence. Where to build the first fortified security checkpoint? The border with the NCR, Hoover Dam, Freeside, to name a few)
  49. - Mojave Secretaries Guards (Personal guards of the Secretaries, 4 for each. Recruited and trained by Krueger, their costs would be covered by the department's budgets. Future idea for be safe instead of sorry)
  50. - Luckiest 38 Guards of All (Personal guards of the Director, directly handpicked and trained by him and Krueger. The Director remains a human...)
  51. - Buy/make CBRN equipment (gas masks, etc. This has been done, and without buying it ! Thank you, NCR, for free equipment !) This option will remain here in case we want to expand the amount of CBRN equipment we have.
  52. - Expand/Improve Standard Infantry Company (new type of soldier inside the company, scout with a carbine? something long range, assault trooper [shotgun and combat knife ?], fire support soldier armed with a machine gun. A combat medic is gonna need medical education, medical supplies, and medical gear. A combat engineer, technical education, and technical gear). Then new weapons, the soldier kit, sidearm, combat knife, grenade)
  53. - Recruitment and Training of a Guerrilla Company (light infantry specialized in guerrilla actions, ambushes, skirmishes. Bleed the enemy and avoid a direct battle. A mix of NCR recon and Legion raiding)
  54. - Recruitment and Training of a Heavy Infantry Company (these men are slower than standard infantry but better armored, increasing their survivability. Better able to withstand enemy fire, they could be a card to play in defense. Expensive).
  55. - Recruitment and training of an Artillery Company (these soldiers would man the 5 Artillery Guns we have access to. Anything else they might be equipped with should be decided. A general defensive formation could be an idea. Producing mortars another. Being a company naturally allows them to be deployed without being guarded by other military units).
  56. - Recruitment and Training of Artillery Crews (a much simpler and cheaper option than the Artillery Company. Vulnerable alone, will need to be guarded by other military units)
  57. - Mojave Automated Artillery Program (this would begin an investment to transform our 5 Artillery guns into a robotic unit of their own that can be more easily controlled by our AIs and Securitrons, if not work on their own with our orders. This will likely start research in tech for the desired final result.
  58. - Improvement of the Settlements Militia's military organization and leadership structure (self-explanatory)
  59. - Mojave Armed Forces War Games (training exercises done between the different branches of our military. Example: Jacobstown militia and NVPD)
  60. - Allied War Games (training exercises done between our military forces and the ones of our allies. Example: Infantry Company trains with Boomer military units)
  61. - Mojave Naval Force (a joke option. Until we are capable of building armed boats, then being able to patrol water and transport troops more rapidly across the lake and river makes it more interesting).
  62. - Project Bastion (Transform Hoover Dam and the land near it into a great fortress with plentiful defenses and security. Taking your greatest asset will become exceptionally hard, very expensive)
  63. - Black Ops Unit (a secretive, highly trained, and elite military unit for taking/destroying important enemy assets and personnel deep behind enemy lines. It will be a natural thing to have them work closely with the future Department of Intelligence. Very expensive)
  64. - Create a Strategic Room at McCarran (Provide Krueger, Patton, and you the tools for great strategy and direct a war)
  65. - Start National Guard plan (need more money)
  66. - Start SOCOM plan (need more money)
  67. - Buy (from afar) or Scavenge robotic wrecks (from your Mojave adventures), and see what you can make out of them. Then repair them and increase your robotic force numbers
  68. - Buy (from afar) or Scavenge automated turret wrecks (from your Mojave adventures), then repair them. Increase your defenses.
  69. - Begin to use in the military super mutants (open options for supermutant soldiers)
  70. - Clean Hawthorne of military gear and equipment (violent)
  71. - Recruit mercenaries (how many, for how long; Survivalist has provided options if we want to recruit mercs !)
  72.
  73.
  74. ENTERTAINMENT
  75.
  76. - Offer Mr.Fantastic, "Deadeye" Ricky, & Nobark Noonan a job has comedians in NV (they will have their show and building. They will be known as the "Hilarious Wasteland Show", or any better name. Basically, we are giving them a job and fame. And we get money and more tourism !)
  77. - Begin an advertising campaign in New Reno (other great cities are also available)
  78. - Transform Boulder City into a settlement for Legion entertainment (Boulder City remains mostly a ruin. Consider that our people don't trust the Legion [and for good reasons], so a garrison of our soldiers should be placed here)
  79. - Create a Legion wonderland (combat arenas, martial games, chariot runs. This option might have ramifications. Of course is connected with the option above, and will be done there in Boulder City. Our people don't trust the Legion, do it at your own risk!)
  80. - Clearing Lake Mead and constructing lodging/recreational activities
  81. - Repair and restore the Bison Steve Hotel in Primm, alongside the roller coaster (will take some parts, technicians, time, and some cash)

  83. - Bighorners Rodeo (Bonnie Springs)
  84. - Dog Racing (Novac)

  86. - Rebuild the Saloons of Nipton
  87. - Build a church at Genesis for the children of Zion

  89. - Theatre NV (singing, acting, music, dancing, for rich people)
  90. - Cinema NV (for both tourists and locals)
  91. - NV Art Gallery (for rich people, but what art? Angelo maybe ?)
  92. - Courier Six Museum (what to place ? Goodsprings or NV)
  93. - Rebuild/Prepare the Ski Resort in Jacobstown
  94. - Cazadors Death Battles (Nipton or Nelson ? Think rooster fights but with these insects instead. Will need some good cages and planning, but it can be profitable)
  95. - Shanghai Dragon Casino (new casino, Chinese themed, the Shi exist, and we have an acquaintance with Ms.Monica. Can be an idea)
  96. - Olympus Casino (new casino, Roman themed, the Legion exists, so we can get some ideas on how to make this casino. Placing it near the new Thorn Arena could be an idea)
  97. - Exotica Casino (new casino, Tribal themed, there are plenty of still living tribes around)
  98. - Luxor Casino (new casino, Egyptian themed, who knows about ancient Egypt in the wasteland ?)
  99. - /// Casino (new casino, no idea for theme, throw one). Possible themes: Mexican (Raul's knowledge ?), Fantasy (mostly GROGNAK comics), Feudal (mostly TALES OF CHIVALRIE comics)
  100.

  111. - Mojave Hunting Guild (food, leather, other products, tourism)
  112. - Expand/Improve our Leather Industry
  113. - Expand/Improve further the Mojave Rose Trade Company (ensuring it connects all the Mojave through trade could be ideal)
  114. - Great Market of NV (transform NV into a center of trade. While smaller markets exist, a central, great, and organized location could change things around for the whole region)
  115. - Invest in the creation of shops and small stores in New Vegas (specific/general wide investment)
  116. - Expand/Improve our Medical Industry (mostly around Goodsprings)
  117. - Start a Glass Industry (??? Nipton ? Bitersprings ? Nelson ?)
  118. - Start a Jewelry Industry (requires first gold mining, silver, or gems. It will sell well with all rich people, no matter the allegiance)
  119. - Start a Book Industry (a book industry would allow us to produce a trade good that is considered of great value across the wasteland. It allows for copying and spreading knowledge, ideas, and it would be of great help for government administration. Last but not least, it would be immensely useful for the education system of the future. A modern book industry requires a printing press and paper.
  120. - Start an Electronic Industry (this industry would allow us to produce a trade good, like the computer, that is considered of immense value across the wasteland. The resources for its production, though, are costly)
  121. - Bighorn's wool clothing industry (this idea might synergize with Big Horners Rodeo)
  122. - Improve our current farms (more farm tools, animals, better irrigation systems could be a good start)

  128. - Invest in fishing in Genesis
  129. - Invest in agriculture in Genesis
  130. - Create our own Guns&Weapons Industry (this is separated from the Gun Runners and a native industry under us)
  131. - Meet with the Gun Runners again and talk further about affairs (make/contract X number of X guns for military or police with Gun Runners)
  132. - Meet with the Van Graffs and talk business (might be a bad idea ? or not ?)
  133. - Food Storage (future topic ? Thinking of using some of the nearby vaults underground to build a massive fridge in one single room)
  134. - Restart production at one or more of the known mines of the region (check the map or ask Survivalist). Search for new sites for mining
  135. - Rebuild and restart production at one of these locations: H&H tools, the Sunset Sarsaparilla Factory, Vegas Steel, Cerulean Robotics, American Technologies, etc...

  142. - Start Bio-Fuel Production (what kind of fuel ? how ? in which structure ? research might be needed first...)
  143. - Improve one of our settlements, creating a new work activity there or expanding existing ones (examples: Sloan, Primm, Bonnie Springs could all use more work ! Any settlement that is ruins or abandoned right now, would also start from 0 work activities in most cases)
  144. - Ensure the two vehicles in Sloan are repaired and, more importantly, have fuel to start working and moving again
  145. - Begin to destroy the Southern Ruins of NV to collect construction materials to use
  146. - Build more traveler checkpoints/rest stops, consider basic transportation for couriers
  147. - Build the NV Central Bank (something for the far future)
  148.
  149.
  150.
  151. SANITATION
  152.
  153. - Continue researching, exterminating, and putting a stop to the Zion Blight

  155. - Improve the Julie Farkas Memorial Hospital in NV
  156. - Build some small medical clinics in our smaller settlements when we can.

  166. - Build the NV Blood Bank (guarantee 1 cap, a free full meal, and water after blood donation for the citizen. A citizen can repeat blood donations after a week)
  167.
  168.

  195. - Clean up House’s corrupted data (long term)
  196. - Understand how to repair the Securitrons (could open future research and improvements for Securitrons)
  197. - Find alternative engineers for the dam (Raul teaching, until our education system starts)

  217. - Continue to create a national identity (this is a long process, but if we work and direct it ...)

  219. - Establishing the Department of Justice (find someone to lead it, a tribunal should be built in NV. Need more money)

  225. - Create a festival (what kind ?)
  226. - Create a national myth/narrative (what kind ?)
  227. - Build one statue of yourself in each of your settlements. Doing such an action sends a certain message of power and influence
  228. - New Settlements (Red Rock Canyon, any place near the Lake, Legion Fort perhaps ? Unless we want to use that one to build one large fortification attached to Hoover Dam)
  229. - Restore your Authority in Bonnie Springs and take the settlement back from Heck Gunderson. The Mojave will have no Company Towns.
  230. - NCR monuments in the Mojave [the statues at the border, the rock in Boulder City for name a few] (options: deface them, keep them as they are, reforge them for our own efforts, sell them to the Legion, offer a hand to the NCR, and propose to do something else with them, like better statues or to symbolize a new deal between the Republic and Directorate. WARNING! ATTENTION! Any negative option present here could increase tension with NCR; think it through before doing it, the consequences can be severe...).
