  242.
  243.
  244.
  245. - - - - - --------[ 2.- WikiLeaks and Julian Assange in great danger
  246.
  247.
  248. At the time of writing this (June 15, 2010), WikiLeaks Founder Julian
  249. Assange is being hunted by Pentagon over a possibly massive 260.000
  250. diplomatic cables leak, after ex-'hacker' Adrian Lamo turned the
  251. supposed whistleblower to the FBI and ex-'hacker' Kevin Poulsen broke the
  252. very 1st rule of journalism on Wired by revealing his name.
  253.
  254. Daniel Ellsberg, who gained fame when he leaked the Pentagon Papers in 1971
  255. in hopes of ending the Vietnam War, told MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan that he not
  256. only sees a parallel between himself and the person who recently leaked a
  257. video of an assault by US forces on Iraqi civilians but also fears for the
  258. safety of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who published the video.
  259.
  260. “What if WikiLeaks was a sort of Wiki-BitTorrent, served by thousands of
  261. people around the world running a background process on their computers,”
  262. mused Edward Benson, a Ph.D. student at the MIT Computer Science and
  263. Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
  264.
  265. “No fundraising needed here, it’s all P2P. And if the Wiki is maintained
  266. Wikipedia style, then we no longer need to pay for a centralized staff to
  267. curate it. Plus, there’s no centralized staff to kill or jail. It can be a
  268. decentralized, collaborative process.”
  269.
  270. WikiLeaks has started to serve Magnet links, yet the role of the Editor
  271. (Julian) is maintained in order to supervise and to assign priorities
  272. to what is leaked and what is not.
  273.
  274. Unfortunately, this puts the role of the Editor in great personal danger
  275. and in risk of being 'totally incapacitated' —CIA's term to refer to Daniel
  276. Ellsberg— by potential enemies while it dramatically slows down the
  277. release process.
  278.
  279. By its own nature, WikiLeaks mirror servers are limited in numbers, and
  280. very much resource-hungry during media peaks.
  281.
  282. Being limited in numbers means that they are prone to attack, DDoS,
  283. international IP bans, governmental inclusion in blacklists... etc. etc.
  284. These are single point of failure that threaten the infrastructure of the
  285. whole system.
  286.
  287.
  288. Project Mayhem 2012 aims to circumvent these issues.
  289.
  290. Project Mayhem 2012 turns into a real uncensorable Superorganism that
  291. predates the net:
  292.
  293. an uncensorable civil cipherspace ontop the cyberspace.
  294.
  295. In other words, we would like to help Mr. Obama to fulfill his promises
  296. and to make them extensible to the whole of society. World. Wide.
  297.
  298. ____________________________________________________________________
  299.
  300. Protect Whistleblowers:
  301.
  302. "Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in
  303. government is an existing government employee committed to public
  304. integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism,
  305. which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should
  306. be encouraged rather than stifled. We need to empower federal employees
  307. as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama
  308. will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose
  309. waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure
  310. that federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistleblower
  311. claims and whistleblowers have full access to courts and due process."

  337.
  338.
  339. Time has come to encourage COURAGE and to issue a CALL TO HACKZION
  340. for PROJECT MAYHEM 2012.
  341.
  342.
  343. Project Mayhem 2012 is a Mutant Egregor Reality-Hacking Wargame.
  344.
  345. Reality Hacking is any phenomenon which EMERGES from the nonviolent use of
  346. legally ambiguous digital tools in pursuit of politically, socially or
  347. culturally subversive ends.
  348.
  349. An Egregor (also "Egregore") is an occult concept representing a
  350. "thoughtform" or "collective group mind", an autonomous psychic entity made
  351. up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people. The symbiotic
  352. relationship between an Egregor and its group has been compared to the more
  353. recent, non-occult concepts of the CORPORATION (AS A LEGAL ENTITY) and the
  354. meme.
  355.
  356. No 'perfectly ideal' p2p darknet design is going to be explained here.
  357.
  358. Instead, we are going to do something WAY BETTER:
  359.
  360. Project Mayhem 2012 is a [Metaheuristically/Hyper-heuristic] self-
  361. actualizing self-repairable IDEAS GENERATOR:
  362.
  363. TYLER, its 'problem child', paraphrasing Albert Hoffman.
  364.
  365.
  366. Project Mayhem 2012 is a passionated Swarm Intelligence Egregor,
  367. iMAGInaCKtive, ants/locusts/bees-colony alike, hard workingly playful,
  368. creative, Groucho Marxist, joy free and quasi-fnord free, fully open to
  369. friends and foes, transparent, independent, non-profit, apolitical but
  370. chaotically fnOrdered while dynamically Sampo-Adhocratic, non-violent
  371. though more than 'strike hard' capable, autonomous, self-sustained and
  372. sharing community to brainstorm ideas and coordinate volunteers everywhere
  373. in the development of TYLER.
  374.
  375. Project Mayhem 2012 will be the biggest HACKARTISTIC joint challenge ever
  376. for the very top hacktivists, coders, cryptoanarchists, cypherpunks and
  377. non-violent Civil Rights, Internet Censorship and Freedom of Speech
  378. activists everywhere to collaborate to jointly BRAINSTORM IDEAS and to
  379. develop TYLER.
  380.
  381. To avoid stalling, we won't aim at 'perfection': errors happen...
  382. Everything is OK!
  383.
  384. Any big problem is only a META-PROBLEM: a problem about solving problems:
  385. a microcosm SPIRAL that mimics the growth of a Macrocosmic SPIRAL.
  386.
  387. 'Almost good enough' might be MORE than a 'good enough' mentality.
  388. Less Syntactics, More Semantics.
  389.
  390. Nobody knows everything that is known, but all together, we know it ALL.
  391.
  392. 'Evolutionary Computing', 'Adaptative Thinking', 'Dynamically Adhocratic'
  393. and 'Mutating problem solving' are key elements here.
  394.
  395. We don't aim to find the 'best' solution, as there might be infinite ways
  396. to achieve a single goal: we aim to MOVE UPWARDS the spiral.
  397.
  398. Or, in Herman Hesse's words:
  399.
  400. "We have learned a lot, Siddhartha, there is still much to learn. We are
  401. not going around in circles, we are moving UP, the circle is a SPIRAL, we
  402. have already ascended many a level."
  403.
  404.
  405. Obviously Project Mayhem 2012 will ALWAYS respect the Law:
  406.
  407. we don't fight against ANYTHING: we will simply ADAPT around it,
  408. and then make it CHANGE to fit our Swarm Intelligence NEEDS of Peace,
  409. Justice, Freedom, Beauty and Truth.
  410.
  411. Project Mayhem 2012 is a Worldwide GrouchoMarxist Re-Evolution Party
  412. celebration of Freedom.
  413.
  414. Party not as in as in ['Black vs. White'/'Red vs. Gold'] but as in
  415. 'DOING IT 4 TEH LULZ'.
  416.
  417. "There's nothing more dangerous than sometone who wants to make the world a
  418. better place.
  419. If you want to say something and have people listen then you have to wear
  420. a MASK.
  421. If you want to be HONEST then you have to live a LIE.
  422. I like to think I have the guts to stand up anonymously in a western
  423. democracy and call for things no-one else believes in - like Peace and
  424. Justice and Freedom."

  439. we are all errorisTs
  440. errare humanum est
  441.
  442. 1. ERRORISM: Concept and action are based on the idea that "error" is
  443. reality's principle of order.
  444.
  445. 2. ERRORISM is a philosophically erroneous position, a ritual of negation,
  446. a disorganized organization: failure as perfection, error as appropriate
  447. move.
  448.
  449. 3. The field of action of ERRORISM contains all those practices that aim
  450. at the LIBERATION of the human being and language.

  603. the ocean of chaos on which we are suspended, and the attempt to bring

  659. mistakes in governing themselves than any smaller class or body of men, no
  660. matter what their training, will make in trying to govern them.
  661.
  662. Friends, our task as Americans is to strive for social and industrial
  663. justice, achieved through the genuine rule of the people. This is our end,
  664. our purpose. The methods for achieving the end are merely expedients, to be
  665. finally accepted or rejected according as actual experience shows that they
  666. work well or ill. But in our hearts we must have this lofty purpose, and we
  667. must strive for it in all earnestness and sincerity, or our work will come
  668. to nothing.
  669.
  670. In order to succeed we need leaders of inspired idealism, leaders to whom
  671. are granted great visions, who dream greatly and strive to make their
  672. dreams come true; who can kindle the people with the fire from their own
  673. burning souls. The leader for the time being, whoever he may be, is but an
  674. instrument, to be used until broken and then to be cast aside; and if he is
  675. worth his salt he will care no more when he is broken than a soldier cares
  676. when he is sent where his life is forfeit in order that the victory may be
  677. won. In the long fight for righteousness the watchword for all of us is
  678. spend and be spent. It is of little matter whether any one man fails or
