01[18:32] <@Alex-OOC> 12The four will take a large Nuestra Empressa unmarked SUV - fake plates, of course - up through Black Canyon City, the grungy town just outside of Maricopa where Phoenix's white trash gangs like to run through. The city's biggest industry is drugs, and it shows as they make their way through the rundown "city center" and towards the outskirts where the trailer park they're looking for is. They finally pass two, coming to their target. Moonlit Meadows trailer park, enclosed by a picket fence and a winding road leading around it to the entrance.
06[18:33] * Ian , given the circumstances, would have let Ana dictate his wardrobe; this was definitely not his usual kind of scene. He would, however, to make sure and have his revolver with him, and as much ammo as he could safely conceal.
06[18:34] * Lyubitshka has dyed her hair again, with a leather jacket and jeans, heavy pistol and ammo tucked away under her jacket along with a flashlight.
01[18:34] <@Alex-OOC> 12Javier, for the record, is in the driver's seat in his usual white t-shirt and blue jeans, keeping the SUV steady as he makes his way on to a dirt road. "Fucking hickvilles," he mutters.
06[18:35] * Ana_Maria will be wearing a T-shirt, shorts, prominant horn rimmed glasses, and sneakers - she'll have shaved her hair and eyebrows off completely, and is wearing a Diamondbacks baseball cap.

01[18:41] <@Alex-OOC> 4Javier pulls the SUV around a corner, and as the group passes a post and comes to the side of the entrance they notice cameras. One on the corner post, and another down the way a little bit.
[18:41] <Ian> "Any chance you can take those out?" he asked Lyubitshka.
06[18:43] * Ana_Maria pulls the cap way down over her face, and looks down, to conceal it
[18:44] <Lyubitshka> Not without a way to access them, and I can't quite see a way to do so.

[18:45] <Lyubitshka> Does appear that way. Two of them, and they appear to be augmented and at least one can hide themselves from electronics.

[18:48] <Lyubitshka> Not tonight in specific, but they might suspect a possibility. They probably think they lost any tail in the city. They did find one of my little spiders spying on them.

01[18:49] <@Alex-OOC> 4Javier rolls his way up to two bars blocking the way into the trailer park, a rusted old sign reading MOONLIT MEADOWS looking like it's about to fall over. There is a box between and in and out roadblock, with a single, fat shirtless man sitting aside looking half asleep.

[18:52] <Lyubitshka> I've still seen worse.
[18:53] <Ian> "I have too. I wandered into Compton once."
[18:53] <Ana_Maria> ...You MUST tell me that story later
[18:53] <Ian> "Oh, I will."
[18:53] <Ian> "The ending involves me thanking Christ for Fortitude" he said, smirking.
[18:56] <Ana_Maria> But anyway, We go in in force... Javier, L, engage right to left, Ian and I will engage left to right.
01[18:56] <@Alex-OOC> 4The car pulls up and the man looks over. "Guest passes?" he asks.

01[19:00] <@Alex-OOC> 4The car drives through onto the dirt road, Javier waving to him. "So, what's the plan, exactly?"
[19:02] <Lyubitshka> Ana? I know we need to go in, bag preferably both of them, and get out of here before anyone interferes.
[19:02] <Ana_Maria> We go in, we subdue them, we get out.
[19:02] <Ana_Maria> Ian and I engage from left to right, Javier and L right to left

01[19:11] <@Alex-OOC> 4As the SUV goes through the park, they'll spot over a dozen trailers nestled along the main way, with more in the cul de sac. Even at this hour some people are out, sitting around grills or milling about.

01[19:18] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> Yeah, that sounds about right.

[19:20] <Ian> "Anyone else noticing the people of this delightful little subdivision seem a bit more armed than your average Yank?"

01[19:20] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> ...I didn't. I guess since I'm always around people with glocks and shit.

06[19:20] * Lyubitshka takes a glance outside at that. "And they wanted guest passes. I suspect we need some way to keep things quieter, if we can."

01[19:29] <@Alex-OOC> 4Javier comes to the end of the road and faces an aluminum double wide, painted off-white around the edge with flaking paint and small, 100% tinted windows that lend credence to the notion there might be vampires here. A single vehicle - the one from the red light cams - sits outside.

06[19:36] * Lyubitshka nods a bit, getting out of the car and letting Javier take the lead.
06[19:38] * Ana_Maria reaches into the back, grabbing a sword in her right hand and a heavy pistol in her left. She also grabs her jacket - which has more pistol ammo, and finally throws a rifle over her back

06[19:39] * Ian went up, knocking on the door, and doing his best to look as Jehovah's Witness-y or Mormon-y as possible.
01[19:41] <@Alex-OOC> 12There's a few moments before he hears footsteps coming. The door opens, and a man looks out of it. He's a tall, round-faced man with fine muscles, dressed down in a tank top and jeans...and with tubes coming out of his arms. He looks down at Ian skeptically, not opening the screen part of the door. "We don't want any."
[19:42] <Ian> "I was wondering if you had heard the Good News of Jesus Christ" he asked, focusing all his will on making himself the center of this guy's universe. (Majesty)

01[19:44] <@Alex-OOC> <Man> Uh, yeah. What can I do for you?
[19:44] <Ian> "I was hoping you might have a few moments to discuss our salvation" he said. "Might I come inside?" He smiled softly, trying to remember how the Evangelicals ever managed this.
01[19:45] <@Alex-OOC> <Man> Look...I...look why don't you just tell me here? My partner wouldn't want you coming in.
01[19:45] <@Alex-OOC> <Man> He's not...he doesn't like religious kinds.
01[19:46] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man is still absorbed in Ian, but seems to be resisting the urge to do as he's told. He still doesn't seem able to harm him.
[19:46] <Ian> "But those are exactly the kinds of people that our Risen Lord instructs us to seek out" he said. "Those in greatest need of His love and compassion."

06[19:50] * Ian put on a bland, non-threatening smile as he heard the other guy approach, still focused on maintaining his magnetic attractiveness.

01[19:52] <@Alex-OOC> 12Another man comes forward. He's lean and gaunt, with curly red hair and a large eyepiece where one of his eyes should be. He looks down at Ian, his visage accomodating.

06[19:53] * Ana_Maria , out of sight, mouths silently to Javier 'now'?
[19:53] <Ian> "I was hoping you might have a few minutes to discuss the Good News of Jesus Christ" he said, same smile. "Your friend said you weren't particularly religious...perhaps you could *let me come inside* and discuss it?" (Mesm)
01[19:54] <@Alex-OOC> 12The guy opens the screen door. "Yeah, sure, whatever," he says. "Come in."
06[19:54] * Ian stepped inside, slowly enough to let the others get in position to follow him inside.
01[19:56] <@Alex-OOC> 12The two guys close the doors behind him, moving to follow him. "So what's this about?" The red-haired man asks.
[19:59] <Ian> "I'm with Helping Hand Ministries" he said. "We're dedicated to bringing the Word of G-d to those most in need of His love and compassion."
[19:59] <Ian> "In these dark times, there are many souls who haven't heard the Word."
06[19:59] * Ana_Maria waits for a reply from Javier

06[20:01] * Lyubitshka quietly slips her hand under her jacket, looking to Javier and Ana
06[20:02] * Ana_Maria nods, burning for her full celerity. She focuses, racing forward to run at and through the door, and twoards the left-more of the two people
06[20:03] * Ian smiled softly as he waited for the others to burst through. "How much do you know of the Lord's message?" he asked, pleasantly, that same bland smile, trying to keep them focused on his Majesty-fueled awesomeness.
01[20:03] <@Alex-OOC> 12Ana Maria bounds into the place, followed by Javier and L. The three barge into a small, cramped living room area with no furniture. Not even a chair or a television. It's clear that this isn't what they're here for, and they don't live here.

06[20:09] * Ana_Maria swings her sword at the guy with the biotic eye, bringing it down furiously
[20:09] <Ian> "Of course, it's fair to say that the message of the Lord tonight? I came not to bring peace, but the sword" he said.
06[20:17] * Ana_Maria slashes at him with her sword one more time
01[20:18] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man takes the abuse, his mouth opening as Ana puts him down for the final hit, Javier emptying a bullet into his head to make him stay down.
06[20:21] * Ana_Maria pivots, bringing her sword down furiously on the other guy
01[20:22] <@Alex-OOC> 12Ana brings her blade down, but as she brings it in she feels a hard clang and it stops. The blade isn't damaged, but she can see from the wound that she's hit a metal skeleton around the man's bones that has limited the damage (3 Bashing).
06[20:42] * Ian fired, though apparently he dodged.
06[20:42] * Ana_Maria thrusts forward with her sword, trying to find the gap between his ribs with her blade
06[20:42] * Lyubitshka reaches under her jacket, quickly making a motion from it as if throwing something - even though to everyone else, there is actually nothing in her hand.
01[20:44] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man goes for Ana's sword, missing as she pulls it from his grasp, but gets in position for Javier to bring his gun down on the guy's shoulder, the clang of metal coming as he makes contact. "Fuck!"
01[20:45] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man, meanwhile, lunges for Ana's blade and misses.
01[20:49] <@Alex-OOC> 12And he does so again, making quite the awkward display of himself.
01[20:51] <@Alex-OOC> 12Javier throws himself into action, this time delivering another gunblow to the man. He falls to the ground, shouting. "Uncle! Uncle!"

01[21:16] <@Alex-OOC> 12Javier heads out the door, raising his somewhat damaged gun and pointing it at a mob of eight men, armed with handguns and shotguns, who have moved in on the trailer.

01[21:17] <@Alex-OOC> 12The two Kindred make quick work of the makeshift militia outside. Had they taken longer these people may have been a problem, but their initiative takes them by surprise. A bullet glances Ana's shoulder and Javier catches a shot in the chest, but both are relatively unharmed.

01[21:19] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man reaches up, barely missing L's neck as he moves, with renewed strength.
06[21:22] * Lyubitshka side steps, making as though she is reaching under her jacket again, and slamming her fist in to his back as she moves aside.
01[21:23] <@Alex-OOC> 12The man falls to the ground, screaming...but not just from the knife. As the two Kindred inside watch, an orange glow begins to consume the vampire, spreading rapidly to the carpet and the flammable walls of the trailer.
[21:23] <Ian> "CAN WE FUCKING GO?"
06[21:25] * Lyubitshka starts to move back, "Yes, go!" and running out.
06[21:25] * Ian fled straight out the door as soon as he said that, look of both fury and terror on his face.
01[21:29] <@Alex-OOC> 12As the two back out into the field of redneck corpses, the trailer quickly catches flame. Javier jumps in the front seat. "Ana! Get whiteboy and let's go!"
06[21:30] * Ana_Maria grabs Ian, throwing him over her shoulder and running for the car
06[21:30] * Ian clung to her, shaking slightly as they ran.

06[21:34] * Lyubitshka runs for the car, going to get in.
06[21:34] * Ian continued clinging to Ana.
06[21:36] * Ana_Maria jumps in the back of the car
06[21:38] * Ian , obviously, did as well.
01[21:39] <@Alex-OOC> 12Javier hits the gas, speeding past the flaming trailer and through the fence, the SUV bumping as he makes his way to a main road. The sound of sirens begins to come through in the background, but they're headed the other way.
06[21:39] * Ian curled up against Ana, very pointedly not saying a word.
01[21:40] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> What the FUCK happened in there?
06[21:41] * Ian took out his phone, firing off a text.
[21:43] <Lyubitshka> Incindiary implant, apparently. Henry has been putting Dead Man's Switches on his boys.
01[21:43] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> Yeah I heard that part. So why wasn't he torpored like Ana said?
[21:44] <Ana_Maria> Next time we need a concentrated EMP or something...
[21:44] <Ian> "That, Javier, is a damned good question."
06[21:44] * Ian said, coolly.
01[21:44] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> Next time we need to torpor the fuckers before anything else happens.
[21:46] <Lyubitshka> He immediately turned on the count-down. That wouldn't have stopped it.
06[21:46] * Ian leaned up to whisper to Ana.
06[21:47] * Ana_Maria will stare out the rear view mirror, alert for any signs of a counterattack
06[21:47] * Ana_Maria nods to Ian
[21:47] <Lyubitshka> But agreed. Next time, torpor everyone. There is the possibility that if any of them have those kinds of implants, however, that they could be wired to work together. One of them activate to avoid capture for the group.
[21:48] <Ian> "All the more reason to shut this trade down as soon as possible" he said.
01[21:49] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> It doesn't matter if it would stop it.
01[21:49] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> You throw him out of the trailer so we can at least search it for shit.
[21:49] <Lyubitshka> It wouldn't stop it, Ian. That's not a product we move.
[21:49] <Ian> "And you don't play 20 questions with an active bomber."
06[21:50] * Ana_Maria grips the gun tightly.
[21:52] <Lyubitshka> But yes, in retrospect, we should have definately moved them out of the trailer.
[21:53] <Ian> "You think?"
06[21:53] * Ian seemed far more agitated than he usually did.
[21:53] <Ana_Maria> I think we're in the clear...
[21:54] <Lyubitshka> If it had been Ana being threatened, Ian, can you honestly say you would have done differently for certain? Or that on the spot, you would have thought exceedinly clear?
[21:55] <Ian> "I think when multiple people were saying there was a safer option, then outside of frenzy, I might just have listened instead of shushing people."
[21:56] <Lyubitshka> I'm sorry, Ian. I can admit when I've made mistakes.
[21:57] <Ian> "You could have gotten us fucking killed."
06[21:59] * Ana_Maria keeps staring out the back of the SUV, gun in hand
[21:59] <Lyubitshka> It was a risk, Ian. Javier and Ana were already outside, I expected you were going to go outside as well. Time seemed very limited, no matter what happened.
[22:00] <Ian> "A risk. Yeah" he said, looking back out the window.
[22:02] <Ian> "It just feels like you'll take risks for your own interests and not anyone else's" he said, bitterly. "So forgive me if I feel a mite resentful at what just happened. Or could have happened."
[22:04] <Lyubitshka> Tell me, what other risks would you have had me take recently?
[22:05] <Ian> "Forget it" he said, coldly. "Let's just...not. Not tonight."
[22:09] <Lyubitshka> Alright
06[22:09] * Ian looked back at the window, jaw set.
[22:11] <Ian> "How much further, Javier?" he asked.
01[22:11] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> Okay, so...why don't I just drop everyone off.
01[22:11] <@Alex-OOC> <Javier> before someone kills someone?
[22:11] <Ian> "Let's do that."
[22:12] <Lyubitshka> Sounds good
[22:12] <Ana_Maria> Alright
[22:12] <Ana_Maria> Thanks for driving, Javier
[22:12] <Ian> "Yes, thank you."
06[22:16] * Ian kept fiddling with his phone.
06[22:16] * Ana_Maria eventually relaxes in her chair, still sitting there quietly
