-unsocial ; yuki finds it rather hard to socialise with people, boys in particular. he always panics and can't find the words to say because he doesn't want to say the wrong thing.
-dirty minded ; he doesn't tend to make dirty jokes aloud, but in his head, he secretly makes a lot of dirty jokes. for example, without fail, he always thinks 'nice' when he sees a 69 or he seems to find good opportunities to make a "that's what he/she said" joke.
-distant ; yuki isn't someone who fits in very well. he tends to distance himself from big crowds because he is scared that he won't fit in. he also doesn't tend to open up to people as he doesn't want to feel like a burden.
-naïve and gullible ; yuki isn't very experienced when it comes to the ways of the world. he's always a victim to pranks and falls for jokes every time. he's tends to be rather careless because he's not too aware of the dangers around him.

yuki was born in los angeles, california, to parents who were both retired first responders. he had always seen their pictures of them being heroic and saving lives and he always looked up to them. from a young age, he was set on becoming like them.

however, as he grew older, he had problems gaining weight and seemed to always be a sickly and weak child. despite this, he never gave up and still stayed positive so that he could achieve his dream one day. to help him become stronger, his parents signed him up for martial arts classes in the local gym. they seemed to work and over time, yuki became healthier and stronger. he entered the academy to train to become a first responder at 17 and to his surprise, he got in.
