- +JellybeanGreen
- sad_procurement: You must be new to the internet.
- You think this is a class of people who say dumb things, yet are responsive to evidence or teaching or learning.
- +sad_procurement
- JellybeanGreen: True, I only got internet recently.
- JellybeanGreen: I joined a community college and they have a computer lab where I can now go online and talk to people.
- +sad_procurement
- So far, the internet has taught me a lot, but I do not think a huge flood destroyed the world. I also do not think a benevolent god created the world, since there is obvious and avoidable suffering. I also think Jesus probably did not walk on water and that science could not prove it even if he did.

- sad_procurement: Religions are not evidence based worldviews, they're narrative based worldviews.
- While they do evolve, like all cultures, they are very slow to do so.
- Unless we are an active member of that culture, we can safely ignore their slow responses to changes in technology, knowledge, and culture.
