  1. Name: Sariel/Sartar Telarran
  2.
  3. Trait 1 I'm driven by a wanderlust that led me away from home.
  4. Trait 2 If you do me an injury, I will crush you, ruin your name, and salt your fields.
  5. Ideal Freedom. Everyone should be free to pursue his or her livelihood. (Chaotic)
  6. Bond I have been Blessed by a strange God
  7. Flaw Violence is my answer to almost any challenge.
  8.
  9. Sariel was born, from her Mother's perspective, with a curse; She was blessed by Corellon. Like other Elves with this blessing, she was able to freely change her sex whenever she finished her nightly trancing. If she had been born in the Capital, or born a boy first, she might have been quietly put to death to hide her family's shame.
  10. Instead, her Mother - not the most stable of individuals - decided that the best way to please Lolth with this curse was to turn it into an advantage.
  11. The way she saw it, Sariel could be the public face, the dutiful daughter while the 'male side' - which she named Sartar - would allow her to do things in the shadows without it being able to be traced back to her.
  12. And thus, she began to aggressively educate her new 'secret weapon'. Sariel was sent to the best of Magci tutors, while Sartar was educated in the Martial Arts traditionally meant for Male Drow. And in secret, in the confines of their home, they were taught to use what one side learned with the other.
  13. In time, they became a formidable fighter and mage, Sariel rising through the ranks of the junior Wizards and Sartar in the fighting pits of their home city.
  14. But as they grew older...they started questioning their place. They began to wonder why they could ever be only one side of themselves. Either be Sariel or Sartar for each day, with only her Mother and a few trusted servants knowing her as both. That they insisted 'Sariel' was the true self and 'Sartar' was just a mask 'she' could take on.
  15. The fact that their mother only grew bolder and bolder in her ambitions only added to these feelings of being trapped in her designs.
  16.
  17.
  18. And one day, they decided they had enough. They faked their death (exposing 'herself' to an assassin, killing them in turn, disguising him as 'Sariel' and then making it look as if it all exploded in magic defense) and left their Hometown, looking for a place where they might belong.
  19.
  20. Nowadays, due to her fighting prowess, they mostly work by fighting in official Arena's, as 'foreign threat' to raise excitement for the crowd or as mercenary.
  21.
  22.
  23. Out in the World, they usually change sex (unless there is a specific need) as they feel like, treating the other version of themselves akin to a 'inner twin' or 'the other side of me'. They are the same person, just choose a different aspect of themselves as they feel like.
  24.
  25. He put a coin before himself. "Look at this. It has two sides and if you flip it, one side always comes up. Heads or tails. Thats me, each morning. I flip a coin in my head, wake up and then it's either the corsage or the suspensorium for the day. But just as the coin is still the same, no matter what side comes up, so am I. You get the same amount of Beer no matter if Head or Tails are up. And you get the same elf with me, either if I've got boobs or a dick that day."
