  29. [22:03] <Saia> Accepting an invitation to attend an island Academy in order to join a famous guild she followed the recruiter to the town square. He turns and speaks to her.

  31. 06[22:05] * May twiddles her fingers, still upset about the loss of her guns, and nods.

  34. [22:07] <Saia> The man smiles and swipes at the air creating a hole that led to a swirl of colors and gestures for you to enter. "Great. Th'n le's go."
  35. 06[22:22] * May takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and steps into the portal.

  38. 06[22:25] * May opens her eyes
  39. [22:25] <Saia> As you look around everything just feels........wrong.
  40. [22:26] <Saia> You don't seem to be standing on anything, but you can instinctively tell where the ground is. Colors all swirl around you in a dizzying rainbow.
  41. [22:27] <Saia> A bit aways you can see what looks like another tear, similar to the portal you just stepped through.
  42. 06[22:27] * May nervously steps towards the other tear
  43. [22:28] <Saia> Through the tear you can see what appears to be a dorm room. A bed, dresser, and desk are all in view, but once again something seems......off.
  44. [22:28] <Saia> "Tha' righ' dere's yer stop missy. Jus step on through."
  45. 06[22:30] * May goes through the tear
  46. [22:30] <Saia> As you step through the tear you finally notice why the sight seemed off.
  47. [22:31] <Saia> You were looking at it from above.

  49. [22:32] <Saia> You fall from the tear, which was apparently on the ceiling, with your luggage in tow.
  50. [22:34] <Saia> Ashlynn: You jump as a girl crashes into the bed on the other side of the room. Before you can question it you remember that your new roommate was supposed to arrive today.
  51. [22:57] <May> "Ow..."
  52. 06[22:58] * May pushes her luggage off of her and stands up
  53. 06[23:06] * May is a tiny young-looking thing sporting a stetson, jeans that were cut off just below the knees, and a button-down shirt. her hair color is blue.
  54. [23:10] <~Ashlynn> a Young girl is sort of... curled up on the bed next to yours, her hair is a a ragged mess and unruly, as if it hadn't been taken care of in days, her clothes are all a dull sort of brown that makes her seem like a brown blob, she gives you a dull, blank look, that has only the tiniest glimmer of curiosity in it before curling up even more
  55. 06[23:13] * May takes a look at the girl on the bed and freezes in place, murmuring a very faint "howdy."
  56. [23:14] <~Ashlynn> the girl sort of makes a noncommital noise, not really reacting otherwise
  57. 06[23:16] * May stands up, and wipes the dirt off of herself.
  58. 06[23:17] * May steps closer to the bed, and extends a hand to the girl. "m-my name's Mayrah." The last syllable is so faint, you can barely make it out.
  59. [23:19] <~Ashlynn> the girl peers out, this time you can tell the color,a piercing green... or maybe they were at one point, now they just feel dull, barely a spark of life in them "Ash" she mutters
  60. 06[23:21] * May lets her hand drop. not really sure what to say.
  61. [23:22] <~Ashlynn> the girl, seeing you have nothing else to say, attempts to flip herself over
  62. [23:23] <~Ashlynn> ... but she moves a little to violentlya ccidently falling off the ebd
  63. [23:23] <~Ashlynn> *bed
  64. [23:23] <~Ashlynn> she doesn't react for a moment before slowly reaching for and rubbing her head "owwwwww..."
  65. [23:26] <~Ashlynn> she uncurls for a moment, wobilly getting to her feet
  66. [23:26] <~Ashlynn> she hunchs a little, but she stands at 5'7, with a fairly lithe frame, hidden by her baggy clothes
  67. [23:27] <~Ashlynn> most notable for you however, is a scar on her neck that shows quite clearly, and seems to be a pair of... bite marks
  68. [23:27] <~Ashlynn> she rubs her head obliviously for a moment
  69. 06[23:29] * May stares at the scar on Ashlynn's neck for a lingering moment, and shivers.
  70. 06[23:30] * ~Ashlynn notices the stare, looks down and just sort of... freezes for a second
  71. 06[23:30] * ~Ashlynn jumps back into bed
  72. 06[23:30] * ~Ashlynn peeks out of her curled form back at youawarily
  73. 06[23:30] * ~Ashlynn frankly, looks kind of ridiculous
  74. 06[23:32] * May darts her eyes away and rubs her elbow. "...sorry. didn't mean nothin' by it."
  75. [23:32] <May> "just..."
  76. [23:33] <~Ashlynn> "...ine"
  77. [23:33] <~Ashlynn> you can barely make out the words
  78. 06[23:33] * May mumbles. "...it's like."
  79. [23:35] <May> "I know what it's like, I mean."
  80. 06[23:35] * May looks at Ashlynn
  81. 06[23:35] * ~Ashlynn s head pops out a little more, still rather blank... but with obvious curiosity
  82. [23:35] <~Ashlynn> "What... do you mean?"
  83. 06[23:37] * May points to her own neck. "That bite... It was a monster attack...right?"
  84. [23:37] <~Ashlynn> "...yeah"
  85. [23:38] <May> "a..."
  86. [23:38] <May> "Ah've been through one...before."
  87. [23:46] <~Ashlynn> "..." she just sort of... stares
  88. 06[23:51] * May stares at her own feet. "I'd...rather not talk about it too much, if that's all right."
  89. [23:52] <~Ashlynn> "... yeah"
  90. 06[23:52] * ~Ashlynn curls back up
  91. [23:53] <May> "Oh!"
  92. 06[23:54] * ~Ashlynn peeks out
  93. 06[23:55] * May begins digging through her bag. "Y'know, if you don't want no-one to see your scar, I got a thing or two in case you wanna cover it up."
  94. [23:55] <~Ashlynn> "...carf"
  95. [23:55] <~Ashlynn> you cant make out really what she was saying
  96. 06[23:58] * May pulls out a bright red sheet of cloth, spotted with white diamond shapes
  97. [23:58] <~Ashlynn> "...what's that?"
  98. [23:59] <May> "It's a bandanna. Ya tie it around yer neck and wear it like a scarf."
