  1. You are Trabalti, a noble living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pouch of
  2. gold and a small dagger. You are awakened by one of your servants who tells
  3. you that your keep is under attack. You look out the window and see a large
  4. army marching towards your keep.

  6. "Run!" you say to your servant. "I will stay here and defend my home".
  7.  
  8. Your servant nods and runs off to tell his master what you said
  9. > find the militia
  10.  
  11. You run down the stairs as fast as you can and into the hallway. You quickly
  12. notice several men with guns pointing their weapons at you. They all turn around
  13. when they hear you call for help.

  15. > ask if the strangers are friends or enemies
  16.  
  17. They don't know you and you need to get them to trust you before you can talk
  18. to them.

  20. > say "Don't worry, I'm a friend of the people"

  22. "I'm a friend of the people", you say. The men look surprised by your words.
  23. "We don't usually see such folk here, let alone one like yourself". One says
  24. > say "I didn't quite hear you, what was that?"

  29. You walk past them and head towards the door. You open it and step outside. You
  30. feel very exposed now.
  31. The sun is shining brightly and there is no sign of any guards patrolling this
  32. way

  35. You start looking around for the army. You spot some soldiers walking along the
  36. road ahead of you. They are dressed in leather armor and carry long swords.
  37. They are clearly not friendly.

  40. You walk over to the soldiers and try to speak to them. They do not seem to be
  41. interested in talking to anyone but you.
  42. > say "If you're so interested in talking to me, speak"

  44. "Yes? What's wrong?"
  45. > say "I don't know, you tell me"
  46.  
  47. "Well, why don't you come with us?"
  48. > say "You don't seem very friendly, why would I follow you?"
  49.  
  50. "Because I'm not sure about you, I mean I've never seen you before".
  51. > tell them to go away

  53. "Oh, well then I guess we'll have to forget about it".
  54. > walk back to my home

  56. You walk back to your house and close the door. You hear the sounds of battle
  57. outside. You wonder who won. Maybe you should stay inside and wait for nightfall.

  59. A few hours later you hear the sound of horses galloping up the street
  60. > walk outside

  62. You walk out onto the street and watch the riders riding through the streets.
  63. You also see other groups of troops marching down the same path.
  64. > walk back inside

  66. You walk back inside and close the door. You hear the sounds of battle outside.
  67. You wonder who won. Maybe you should stay inside and wait for nightfall.
  68. > start drawing a ritual pentagram on the floor with chalk

  70. You draw a pentagram on the ground with chalk. You think about how you will use
  71. this pentagram to summon the demons. You decide to make a circle with the pentagram
  72. and call upon the spirits within. You begin chanting a spell to summon the spirits
  73. > summon a powerful and friendly spirit

  75. You chant a spell to summon a powerful and friendly spirit. You hear a voice
  76. from deep within the earth. It calls itself "Tristan". He asks you where you
  77. are going. You tell him that you want to summon spirits to help you fight the
  78. evil forces attacking the town
