Wanda probe Commits Elder Abuse

She has never been anywhere special in her life except Reno, Las Vegas & when I took her to see Elvis’ home, Graceland, in Memphis TN in 2005.

What exactly makes this woman so different from others who are sick and can not afford medication ? Well lets take a look Marilyn is a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who needs our help. Marilyn is almost 74 years old and had a stroke during Easter dinner with family. Marilyn spent a week in hospital and is currently living at home with her son & family. ( hold it ) so let me get this straight Marilyn lives at home with her son &family ? and pays rent  ?  After paying her rent she has just over $100 to pay the remainder of her bills, to buy food and to pay for her medications which were only two prior to the stroke. As you can see she was not able to pay for all of those things monthly on such a small income so she skipped meals or doses of medication to stretch them out. The doctors think the reason she had the stroke was because she didn’t take her medications on a regular basis.

What does her son & family do to contribute do they help cover the costs of bills , food ect or is this another sad case of elder abuse Elder abuse and neglect means violence against seniors or mistreatment of seniors, including neglect of seniors who depend on others for care. Abuse and neglect of older adults takes many different forms: physical, sexual, emotional and financial. Other forms are related to giving medication improperly (e.g., to control behaviour) and taking away rights (e.g., to privacy, to make treatment decisions). Many types of abuse, and some types of neglect, are criminal offences. All types of abuse and neglect are harmful to seniors
