  1. [18:37] And so, he charges.
  2.
  3. Both hands grip the dark of his soul, flying towards Alexios without rage, but with determination. He can see it in his eyes, even if they are clouded by black and red.
  4.
  5. He was not fighting for slaughter, or ruin, or death. There was something different, born out of a desire to defend his own people from an evil.
  6.
  7. A hand extends with the other on his sword to charge a blast of darkness to end the fight.
  8.
  9. He didn't have time for a savored duel, he must reach Starfall.
  10.
  11. "You will not be the end of my race, Alexios! Lest you fall victim to this folly!"
  12. (Tyranny)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [18:38] Revan orn Apotychia exclaims, "Ah yes, finally, someone to fight!"
  16. [18:40] Moving across the field during the war, it was only right that Alexios seek out the opposing side's face. The one that had stood above all others, to make the claims of the end times.
  17.
  18. Tyranny had plastered himself as the spokesperson for such an event, having to lead the demons down on them since the start. This meant he would finally be testing his strength, as surely Tyranny could also be considered the strongest of the demons?
  19.
  20. "Tyranny... What a corny name for what you aim to do, most of you do name yourself something ridicules'. I'm sick of you all, toxicity to the earth. For years now you have caused the balance to shift onto one side. And now, I will put an end to it all..."
  21.
  22. Teeth grit, as that sword is raised to be pointed at Tyranny. "Demon... I was once called a monster for something I never did, but I will show you what a true monster is... Ascheas creation."
  23.
  24. "YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!"
  25.
  26. Wind erupts out from around his body, cutting across the dirt and grass beneath his boots. Scarring the very ground under him, he was going all out on this one. He would not let Starfall be lost, and he was not ready to die yet!
  27.
  28. So here he comes, at full force.
  29. (Alexios)
  30. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  31.
  32. [18:48] There is no time to stop.
  33.
  34. Tyranny brandishes his soul itself, the black sword Ash Durung Libero for not his own sake. Not for power, or a throne, or anything else.
  35.
  36. If Alexios could not see it, then he would feel it when it pierces through him and throws him to the wayside.
  37.
  38. It whispers not only death and decay, but a freedom that could only be expressed by the King of Demons. By the need to keep his people safe, and expressed through unyielding determination and strength.
  39.
  40. Even as Alexios flows an all-cutting wind against him, he takes it. He does not dodge, he rushes to deliver that strike and moves forward.
  41.
  42. "Out of my way!"
  43.
  44. Do not stop running. Do not stop rushing for their safety.
  45. (Tyranny)
  46. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  47.
  48. [19:01] What was this?
  49.
  50. It felt like his own strength had been completely overwhelmed, and pressed into the dirt. No matter how hard he hit, everything Tyranny used practically trumped his movement. Alexios needed to get close to do his damage, while Tyranny didn't even need to move hardly.
  51.
  52. No, he couldn't see it.
  53.
  54. Not something moving at that speed, faster than the wind. Slicing through his stomach, and causing that hole to open up. Dropping his sword onto the ground, blood spews out onto the grassy fields. Practically throwing up, and crouching down in a defeated state.
  55.
  56. An entire hole, one that luckily missed the spine. He was bleeding out, and that blessing of Aschea didn't feel present. "Come... On." A shaky hand moving to press down on the wound, but no amount of pressure would stop the constant loss of blood.
  57.
  58. Healing of his blessed crystalline core doesn't work either, unable to bounce back from such a wound. It needed actual treatment, one he couldn't get during combat.
  59.
  60. Falling back didn't feel like an option, but he also knew Myllenoris needed him alive. Dying here wouldn't achieve anything, even if Starfall was lost. So he rises, picking up his sword and sheathing it for now. "N- Next time... It'll be different."
  61.
  62. Now, he had another obstacle in his path... As the High Lord finds safety within his troops.
  63. (Alexios)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [19:02] Hidden within the fields, Yoshiko followed Alexios. She didn't make her appearance clear when it came to following the High Lord, but he would be able to tell that she was always with him.
  67.
  68. However, her presence was completely sealed when Alexios met with Tyranny and engaged in battle with them. The Fox stayed hidden and watched near a tree. There was a lot of focus in her eyes and she wanted to make sure the Teraphim didn't get hurt in the process or even worse. Captured.
  69.
  70. But from the looks of it, Tyranny had bested her wind in battle and Yoshiko would seek out to take that victory away from him at any given cost. This was the duty of an Illuminated.
  71.
  72. "My wind.. My dear.... You did well.
  73.
  74. Tyranny.. You're one who is born from darkness. I cannot allow you to continue your way even if you want to.
  75.
  76. You don't deserve it..."
  77.
  78. Yoshiko's glow shines brightly. Just so Alexios can feel her warmth and so could Tyranny. There was a lot of confidence in the fox and she would regain the victory here today.
  79. (Yoshiko Taiyang)
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [19:07] {Won Dangerous RPB against Tyranny}
  83. [19:14] Was there something driving the Fox to fight her best? Yes, entirely. If they had won against the demonkind and held Starfall as their own, Yoshiko could definitely complete a certain goal she had in mind.
  84.
  85. And she just took down one of the self-proclaimed leaders.
  86.
  87. Flames birthed from Jiuweihu's Epitome shine and gradually raise the temperature around the two. More hotter than Tyranny can ever think about creating. Her flames and her light were that of the sun itself.
  88.
  89. But it didn't help that the protective layer of light was pressuring the demon completely. The light reflected things off of her as she charged in and let her tome do the rest.
  90.
  91. "... I will forgive you for defeating my wind but remember what I said here earlier today. You don't deserve this place nor do you deserve Esshar…" she declares.
  92.
  93. With Tyranny down for the count, they had a certain victory here today. But Yoshiko was a kind soul and even if Tyranny was a demon. He'd be able to flee. She had no sights on purging anyone at the moment.
  94. (Yoshiko Taiyang)
  95. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  96.
  97. [19:27] Driven back.
  98.
  99. Tyranny was wounded, even as he completely overpowers Alexios. Without his prime, fighting against Yoshiko was a complete non-option for how she fought. The cowardly hit-and-run was just enough to push the Lord of Demons back, and his rage finally snaps.
  100.
  101. "Do not hold a false morality over me, fox. What you do here will damn Myllenoris more than I could have ever done. More than what was needed to secure my people.
  102.
  103. His regenerative nature made whatever wounds she inflicted into nothing, but his mana was spent. He would be forced to retreat from Starfall, and see to his own.
  104.
  105. "I will laugh when Barsburg falls upon you, and our war lays unfinished."
  106.
  107. He vanishes into the shadow, unhurt and recovering mana.
  108. (Tyranny)
  109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  110.
  111. [19:35] Yoshiko had done what he couldn't, stepping up to the plate to take charge. While a hole was left in his stomach, a reminder of his failure. She had shined brightly and pushed their strongest demon back. Even if he wasn't killed, today might be their day... And Starfall would stand tall.
  112.
  113. "My sun..." He coughs, pressing his bloodied hand against the tree. "You've shined so brightly, and sent his darkness running... I am--…" Staggering, he winces. "So proud."
  114.
  115. "I'm sorry... I couldn't be stronger. But even in my darkest moment, you-- And all of our people, fight and bring me light. Even in my fall, we rise-- Higher... And your love will make me stronger."
  116.
  117. As Yoshiko moves closer, he brings a hand down to her shoulders. He needed the support, as he had suffered an awful injury. And even now, he was bleeding all over the place. "My scars... Will just remind me." For now, Yoshiko could take the lead.
  118.
  119. She had earned such right, and beaten the enemy's leader.
  120. (Alexios)
  121. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  122.
  123. [19:36] Yoshiko Taiyang whispers to Alexios: I will be back with victory on my shoulders..
  124. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  125. [20:35] {Won Dangerous RPB against Carlisle ras Petrakis}
  126. [20:35] ** Yoshiko Taiyang has inflicted an injury upon Carlisle ras Petrakis. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  127. [20:46] The dear Princess, Carlisle. The Princess that Yoshiko assumed would take the spot of queen. Yoshiko didn't know why she left her destiny but Yoshiko didn't have a right to judge Carlisle's pathing in her life. But maybe she'd be able to understand through this battle she engaged with her.
  128.
  129. At a first glance, it was fire versus ice. The two were clearly exceptional illusionist in their respected factions and it would only prove that his matchup would've been tough on the both of them.
  130.
  131. It was never easy...
  132.
  133. Yoshiko disliked the cold entirely. It was never something she could accustomed to. Especially when she was a devotee of the sun. Warmth and heat was all that she could ever want and the Ex-Princess's power was something to look out for.
  134.
  135. And when Ice met fire? It was not pretty. She never thought the skin that she wore would ever catch a single pinch of frostbite. Not with the heat that she emitted. Alas, there was plenty of her fiery temperature to ignore this and breakthrough anything she threw at her.
  136.
  137. "Dear Carlisle... I do not know why you've come to travel down this path. But I would like to understand where we aren't on a plain of blood and suffering." Yoshiko's tome glides to the defeated Princess and applies a sunmark temporarily on her chest to remind her that Yoshiko was always there even when she wasn't. The light would cause it brighten.
  138.
  139. "I will soon understand why..." She didn't intend to harm her but there would be no pain in the mark. More of an embrace...
  140. (Yoshiko Taiyang)
  141. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  142.
  143. [20:53] She doesn't feel.
  144.
  145. She does not feel anything. Her mind is blank, the world around her melts within brilliant, twisting collars. And all of the things that she has to show for it is the way that her body trembles and flourishes. It is a sickening feeling for the moment. The impeccable high, the twisted nature of her being - where she wishes to take all that she possibly can. Fear? Of losing. Of feeling it slip betwixt her fingertips.
  146.
  147. "N-no...No, no, no, no...!"
  148.
  149. Within her mind's eye, does she grasp for consciousness. Clinged to tightly, and when she falters...She swears that she feels the night powder ressurect her back to the reckless, bombastic, juggernaught that she proclaimed herself to be. A princess no longer. She claims herself to be a queen.
  150.
  151. Of nothing. Of Absolute Emptiness. Of a darkness that remains to be seen time and time again. "...H-Haah...Hah..." but her features remain flushed. Even when fire knocks her down and this weakness continues...It's hard to understand. It's hard to state, but...
  152.
  153. "..This isn't over." It won't be. Not now, not ever. "I-...I'll come for you. I'll come for all of you. Just wait. Just wait..!" But even then, does she claw towards the ground. Her body seemingly melts into nothingness...The overbearing magic flourishing from the light centered upon her chest.
  154.
  155. It clashes as she still tries to move...Only to sink lower and lower and lower into the ground until nothing persists. She escapes. Swallowed by her own magics.
  156. (Carlisle ras Petrakis)
