Ever since her stepmom and stepsisters moved into her house, Tsunderella had been forced to obey their ridiculous demands without ever getting a chance to rest.
She would not even be able to sleep in a bed, often falling asleep in the ashes of the fireplace's back-burner.

Forced to continue this miserable lifestyle, it wasn't long before any sense of a smile disappeared from that lovely face of hers.
Even when the lavenders would bloom in the garden, or when the birds sang on the branches in the forest, or when the cheerful laughter of young girls could be heard, Tsunderella would show no emotion in response.
Clothes worn-out, covered in ash, face never showing a hint of a smile, Tsunderella performed her household chores in silence.

Then one day, the queen known as the "Shojo Prince" called girls from all over the country to participate in a ball titled "The Bride Selection".
The stepsisters that were invited were extremely excited!
"I'll make the queen mine with this beautiful chest of mine!"
The elder stepsister shook her breasts which were boldly displayed in her dress.
"No, the queen will be mind. She won't be able to resist my slender waist."
The younger stepsister was twisting and bending her waist about.
(Seriously...?)
Tsunderella was taken aback over how desperately they were trying to raise their sex appeal.
In fact, she wasn't in even the least bit turned on by those "nice bodies" of theirs.
"Tsunderella, hurry up and tie my hair already!"
"The ball is going to start soon. Tie the ribbon on my dress!"
Tsunderella proceeded to help her stepsisters put on their dresses and saw them off on their way to the ball, her heart hung with disappointment.
(A ball, huh...)
Tsunderella let out a lonely sight as she was the only one left in the house, and then that's when it happened.

1: The pumpkin shall turn into a carraige, and the mouse shall turn into a coachman!
2: I sure have outdone myself.

4: Poof! A cloud of smoke appeared and began dissipating, revealing a friendly looking witch.
"Do you want to go to the ball, Tsunderella?"
"Huh? Well.. yes, but..."
Tsunderella unwittedly let out her true feelings due to her unaccepted approach, in which the which responded with a smile.
"Take a look at this, then. The pumpkin shall turn into a carraige, and the mouse shall turn into a coachman!"
(P-Pumpkin? And a mouse too? What?)
Tsunderella immediately started forming doubts in her head, but they were dispelled the moment she saw how wonderful of a carriage and coachman that showed up in front of her.
"And here's a dress for you!"
Before she realized it, Tsunderella found herself in a beautiful dress adorned with jewels.
And her feet were in sparkling glass slippers.
"Amazing..."
Even Tsunderella couldn't help but get her spirits raised with this.
"The magic will get undone at midnight. Make sure you get back home before that."
Imagining the sight of her coachman turning into a mouse in front of everyone, she gave an enthusastic nod to convey that she understood.

PAGE 04:

1: In the ball, the queen was getting frustrated with all the beautiful women trying to impress her.
They were flirting in every way they could possibly imagine in order to become the queen's bride.
(Oh? Who's that girl?)
What caught the Queen's eye was none other than Tsunderella, with her straight-expressioned face giving her a noble feel among the rest of the girls.
She was like a white rose blooming in a wasteland.
"May I have this dance?"
Tsunderella was actually trembling with nervousness.
Even though the Queen led the dance, Tsunderella was so embarrassed that she wouldn't lift her face.

2: The Queen couldn't help but fall for her even more, seeing that unexpected side of hers.
It was then that the bell tolled, signaling that midnight had come.
As Tsunderella rushed out in a hurry, she ended up losing one of her slippers on the way out...

PAGE 05:

1: The smile that she found for me.

2: The Queen set out in search for Tsunderella using her slipper as a guide.
If she found someone whose feet fit those slippers, then that would be indeed the girl she would be looking for.
But not a single person she met with had the same gorgeous feet that fit that slipper.
"You'll be able to become a queen! You have to force your foot into that slipper!"

3: The stepmother had began growing impatient towards the stepsisters over not being able to wear the slipper, to the point where she even brought out an axe.
"Now, put that slipper on."
It was then that Tsunderella timidly entered the room, to which the Queen caught sight of her face.
That bashful face was none other than the one from that night.

3: The white rose that was once in her grasp.
Tsunderella's foot slipped smoothly into the slipper.
"Please become my bride."
"Yes, I'd love to..."
Within the Queen's embrace, Tsunderella's beaming smile finally returned.

5: Deep in the forest maze, a house of sweets appeared before the sisters, illuminated by the sunlight peeking through the branches.
The young Gretel was excited, and Hanzel was a bit relieved at the sight as well.
"Hey, this looks really delicious. Eat some with me, Hanzel."
"All right, all right. Take your time with eating it, look, you got cream on your cheek."
It was then that a black shadow suddenly appeared, causing Hanzel to rush to Gretel's side to protect her.
"You seem to be really enjoying yourselves with the sweeets."
Her appearance was reminiscent of a tiger lily, as she spoke those words with a clear, dignified voice.

1: Taking a closer look at the sisters who had been embracing each other, the witch scoffed.
(Hmph, they're just little girls. I'll take care of them in no time.)

2: As she said those words to herself however, she caught herself off-guard at the sight of those round eyes and white skin of theirs.
(Hmm, maybe I should mess with them a bit before eating them.)
"You two will be my servants. First I'll need you to grow fat."
The witch began chanting a spell as if she was singing, and then suddenly...!
Hanzel become a maid, and Gretel became a tiny princess!
"Whoa... it's magic!"
The witch found her heart to skip another beat at the sight of their smiles.
(What's going on here, they're so cute!)
Wanting to eat them right up in a completely different meaning from before, she moved onto enjoying a very sweet lifestyle with them.

PAGE 091:

Running out of patience, the sisters' stepmom came to visit.
"You still haven't taken care of them?"
"I have no own way of doing things."
Gretel happened to hear their converation from behind the door.
"So you and mom were actually bad people...?"
Due to the the shock, Gretel got a fever and fell ill.
"Gretel, are you all right?"
The witch sat by Gretel's pillow-side in worry.
Gretel's hand shook as she raised it in the air.
"Please... don't leave me."
The witch gripped Gretel's hand with tears in her eyes.
She cooled her cheeks, took her temperature, gave her soup, and tended to her the whole night.

PAGE 092:

1: Because the witch's kindness, it wasn't long before Hanzel and Gretel began to warm up to her.
"You're always reading books on your own, why not come have some tea with us?"
"Gretel wants to feed you some snacks!"
The witch found herself in delight at the girls' growing closer to her.
"All right Gretel, let me hug you so I can see how much bigger you've gotten."
With this sudden happiness that visited her, the once cool-mannered witch was now in complete love with these girls.
She no longer even gave thought to the assassination orders given to her by the stepmother.
Yummy treats, fluffy beds, sweet snacks, and the witch's love.
Hanzel and Gretel were treated so kindly by the witch that they've never felt such happiness in their life before.

PAGE 093:

1: The stepmother was not happy with this happy lifestyle the 3 of them were enjoying, however.
She disguised herself as the witch and decided to go after the sisters' lives.
"Hanzel, could you go check up on the stove for me? Here, put your face farther in there."
The moment she felt her arm grabbed, Hanzel realized.
(She would normally touch me more gently...)
"Who are you?!"
It was then that the familiar black shadow appeared, with a sweet scent accompanying it.
"Stop right there! What do you think you're doing to my beloved little girls?!"
She pushed her stepmom into the stove, in which the flames enveloped and swallowed her.
"It's all right now. Come here, you two, and kiss me!"
And then the three of them lived happily ever after.
